community." Those of you who are long-time participants in the
Woodmont Hills journey
must be growing
tired of the phrase and could be hearing it
as a mere cliché.
Rubel, I'm just
starting a spring sermon series with you for the fourth time,
but it seems like that's
been our constant theme song.
One of the PURPOSE DRIVEN
CULT'S or SHEPHERDING themes is to HAMMER BLOW how evil your old, evil NON-INSTRUMENTAL worship was
along with EVERYTHING you believed. If you fall sucker it means that
you are involved in MASS
HYPNOSIS where they
DRIVE false teachings into your heads. Those not UNDER CONTROL will come out of it. As they say at
Madison about infiltrating and diverting the old lady's church home,
"we gotta teach, teach, teach." That is the way we do mind
control.
JESUS DIED TO MAKE US
AUTONOMOUS: DON'T LET THEM STEAL IT
John York: First John
was about life
together; the Hebrews
series and the Exodus series and the Gospel of John series and
the Heroes of Faith
series were all designed around this
need to move beyond "personal relationship with
Jesus" and
countless other
phrases and ways in which
our cultural Christianity makes us autonomous and anonymous in our time. Yet we also live with the intuitive
awareness that we really
do need each other.
Autonomy is what the Crossroads or SHEPHERDING
people TAKE AWAY FROM YOU. Like the Promise Keepers you will have
those with whom you meet weekly to confess all of your faults
including a glancing lust for the secretary. If they SENSE that you
are lying some claim to literally take a whack at you. People who
come under DOMINION THEOLOGY lose all of their old God given freedom
to choose.
The First day as a "sabbath" and
the Seventh day as a "sabbath" with animal sacrifices and WORK on the
other days were for REST and for holding a Holy Convocation. This
means primarily "reading the Word."
Jesus said that when two or three (or one) come
to Him He will give the REST. That means the
grinding, "spiritual anxiety" created by religionists.
He also said COME learn of ME. That, in Paul's
unique "worship" word meant to give attendance to the READING of the
Word. There IS NO commune in the body of Christ.
Jesus died to give you REST from
BURDEN-LADING CLERGY. The Synagogue of
Christ assembled to GIVE HEED to the Words of Christ. They didn't
SANG: they were commanded to TEACH OR PREACH the inspired material
ONE TO ANOTHER and eat the Lord's Supper to remember His Death. When
Jesus meets in the congregation with us He AGONIZES or GRIEVES OUT ha
Hymn and does not go effeminate-charismatic to CELEBRATE or MOCK his
death.
John York: We know the
emptiness of Sunday morning church hopping and shopping,
and we've all felt
the shallowness of church performances that don't connect with the rest of our lives.
John York and Rubel Shelly and
others TAKE A WAGE to destroy the old, non-instrumental church of
Christ. Now as sOPHISts they want to DOUBLE-DIP for correcting THEIR
old mess. But, it is as old as the SHEPHERDING of of Nimrod who had
his own "musical worship team" and promised to regenerate or give you
a SECOND INCARNATION through EXTERNAL MEANS. Sure, he claimed that
the "spirit gods" were speaking to him, also.

in musical idolatry and FEASTED by pretending that they were
conduction one of John
Mark Hicks's SACRIFICIAL MEAL WERE GOD EATS.
And it shall come
to pass in that day, saith the Lord God, that I will cause the

The problem is that Rubel
Shelly has been a prime mover of changing CHURCH of Jesus saying, 'I
will bulid MY SYNAGOGUE' into a SHALLOW CHURCH
PERFORMANCE.
The church of Christ is the
SCHOOL OF THE BIBLE and if it has ANY PERFORMANCE then it cannot be a
SCHOOL but the planned-for THEATER FOR HOLY ENTERTAINMENT. In the
Words of Rubel Shelly that means MUSICAL PERFORMERS to "move you into
the presence of God." That means replacing the OLD Logos to the Rubel
Shelly LOGOS of hermes or Mercury.
"The
secularization process that has transformed Western civilization
over the past two centuries has taken different paths in Europe and
in America. In Europe, secularization has meant large-scale defection from
religion and the
appearance of many empty
church buildings and cathedrals.
In America,
churches have survived, however, by adapting to secularization and by commending themselves in terms
that are attractive to "secular man."
"Further, the secular church
alters traditional
ministries and
multiplies a host of new
ministries through
which it seeks to "meet
needs." Committed to
meeting consumer
demands, the
accommodating church must check constantly the latest shifts
and fads which announce the appearance of a new
"need." In all of this the secular church almost comes to resemble a
delicatessen offering samples to attract customers.
Its members are
exhorted to be involved, to share,
and occasionally, to serve.
Far less frequently are they
called to serious Bible study and discipleship. The secular church

KNOWLEDGE as Jesus warned about Doctors of the Law.
John York: "Life in
community." We know the longing
in our world for spirituality and the experience of divine empowerment that too often people have stopped
searching for in Christian institutional religion.
Jesus died to remove the old PLACE of
"spiritual experience." He said very clearly that FROM NOW
ON.
Jesus
saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall
neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem,
worship the Father. John 4:21
Ye worship ye know not what: we
know what we worship; for salvation is of the Jews. John 4:22
But the hour cometh, and now
is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father
........... in spirit and in truth:
........... for the Father seeketh such to worship

God is a
Spirit: and they that
worship him must worship
him in spirit and in
truth. John 4:24
If God is SPIRIT and we must
worship Him IN SPIRIT then this can have no relationship to SPIRIT
meaning ENRAPTURED or raped or enthus O mania. Wiser than our
preacher the woman readily identified the PURPOSE for God in the
flesh:
The woman saith
unto him, I know that Messias
cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
John 4:25
........... Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto
thee am he. John 4:26
If God in Christ came to
TELL US ALL THINGS that leaves precious little for Pharisees meaning
Hypocrites or theatrical performers--FOR A PRICE.
Paul after being circumcised in
the hert or spirit did not worship in the PLACE of the Jewish temple.
Rather, Paul said that he worshipped IN THE SPIRIT.
But he is a Jew,
which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the
spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of
God. Ro.2:29
- For we are the
circumcision,
- which worship God in
the
spirit,
- and rejoice
in Christ Jesus,
- and have no confidence
in the flesh. Ph.3:3
This proves that Paul did not
worship CHARISMATICALLY but in his OWN spirit as CONTRASTED with his
flesh.
Community means COMMUNE. In order for YOU to
give up your CHRIST-PURCHASED autonomy and freedom from RITUAL CULTS,
they have to "preach, preach, preach" to convince yu that yout trip
to WASHINGDON is being DIVERTED to Miami. And repeat, repeat, repeat
so you don't rock the boat to neverland:

and the hard working people who WANT to be autonomous about their PAY
CHECK.
I NOTICE THAT THEY CAN HARDLY WAIT TO ESCAPE
SERMONIZING AND MUSICAL RITUALS AND "COLLECTORS OF THE TITHES AND
OFFERINGS."

"I call the eleventh form of
idolatry elitism-Pharisaism
because
........... it simultaneously partakes of social pride and
hypocrisy.
It constitutes idolatry because it
puts the institution or peer group before
the individual: a person serves the
corporate entity, not vice versa.
It involves worship, in effect, of the
system or organization to which people belong and thus is a
kind of self-worship. Typifying this sort
of idolatry are the Pharisees of the
New Testament period, a group whose elitist tendencies we know well
from Jesus' discourses with them.
Jesus identified a Pharisee as doing

The BURDEN the clergy laid on the people was
"spiritual anxiety created by religious ritual." The REST Jesus gave
us was to FREE us from INSTITUTITIONAL or COMMUNE associations. The
REST is like like the SABBATH REST which God gave the Israelites to
QUARANTINE them from the NATIONAL or BABYLONIAN Sabbath rituals which
allowed the CLERGY agents of the gods to REST while God's People
SERVED as musicians, priests, soothsayers, feeders and sexual
companion Gods. Jesus gave us the FIRST DAY to do synagogue or school
of the Bible and remember that HE died to free us from Rubel Shelly's
SHEPHERDING rituals.
The religion in ATHENS involved the
Thespians and Lesbians. They

temples made with

Prophesying of the end-time
Babylon Whore worship which John OUTED by pointing to CIRCE (church,
circus), he wrote:
And the voice of
harpers, and musicians, and of pipers,
and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no
craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more
in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all
in thee; Rev 18:22
The craftsmen who performed
the ARTS wich OCU is promoting for "worship" is the Greek:
Techne
(g5078)tekh'-nay; from the base of 5088; art (as productive), i.e.
(spec.) a trade, or (gen.) skill: - art, craft, occupation.
This included the MUSES, the
rhetoricians, sOPHISts (serpent agents), singers and musicians. The
Pharisees were part of the SCRIBE (book writer) and HYPOCRITE
sectarians among the Jews and the Greeks. A PHARISEE was a HYPOCRITE
because he MADE LONG PRAYERS and did other MEDIATING ACTS so that he
could "eat up the houses of widows" and even STEAL THE CHURCH HOUSES
OF WIDOWS.
These Pharisees or
Hypocrite-performers-for-a-wage REWROTE the Words of God because
otherwise he couldn't steal from the POOR.
The JUBAL STORY proves that he HANDLED music
"without authority" or command in The Book of Enoch, the Book of
Jubilees, the Books of Adam and Even and three dozen other texts.
Once Satan ENTERED INTO JUBAL or "Genun" (Genii) to cause the FALL of
those in the presence of the Living Word they had FALLEN AND COULD
NOT GET UP. The total alienation and lostness from BRETHREN cause the
Jubal-like family to become SEEKERS to try to seduce others into
their lonliness because MISERY LOVES COMPANY. Therefore, the lost
churches attempt a LEAP at MASS COMMUNITY involvement to IMPOSE the
burden Jesus Christ died to remove. That burden being "creation of
spiritual anxiety through religious ritual" and the imposing of
ADDITIONAL TAX or TITHES which were always secular or governmental to
suppor the HABITS of the PHARISEES.
No level of SHEPHERDING of goats into their own
PENS will relieve the feeling of UTTER LOSTNESS.
Hitler would explain Experience and Community this
way.
"But the community of the great
demonstration not only
strengthens the individual, it also unites and helps to create an
esprit de
corps.
"The man who is exposed to
grave tribulations, as the first
advocate of a new doctrine in his factory or
workshop,
absolutely needs
that strengthening which lies in the conviction of being a member and fighter
in a great comprehensive
body.

of this
body for the first time
in the mass
demonstration. When
from his little workshop or big factory, in which he feels very

he steps for the
first time into a mass
meeting and has
thousands and thousands of people of the same opinions around him, when,

suggestive intoxication and enthusiasm,

then he himself has succumbed to the magic influence of what we designate as 'mass suggestion.'
The will, the longing, and also
the power of thousands are accumulated in every individual. The man
who enters such a meeting doubting and wavering leaves it inwardly
reinforced:

BEING JESUS IN THE WORLD
It is that desire
to live as Holy
Spirit-empowered
followers of Christ
not just
"belonging to Jesus"
but being
Jesus to our world in
our time --
You cannot JOIN a sect and
become SPIRIT empowered. That comes through the SEVEN SPIRITS which
would rest on the BRANCH. All were related to REVEALED
KNOWLEDGE..
And declared to be
the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by
the resurrection from the dead: Ro.1:4
For God hath not given us the
spirit
of fear; but of
power, and of love,
and of a sound
mind. 2Ti.1:7
There they go again:
promising what they cannot deliver with no money back
guarantee.
I'll bet that comes as a big
suprise to JESUS who was GOD IN CHRIST. When Jesus promised ANOTHER
COMFORTER He said, "I will come to you." When the Lord Jesus spoke to
Paul as SPIRIT He was "Jesus of Nazareth." Jesus is alive and well
today and HE will do HIS work ONLY if you "teach that which has been
taught." We are to give cups of cold water in the NAME of Jesus and
NOT AS Jesus. That beats "music to lead you into the presence of
God."
The SPIRIT which rested on
Jesus was not a THIRD MEMBER OF THE Family of Gods. Rubel Shelly and
those who promise you that A SEPARATED SPIRIT PERSON is guiding
whatever COMES OUT of this study are POLYTHEISTS. That is why they want to fellowship ANYONE with an
income. Here is the SPIRIT connected to being a CHRISTIAN as opposed
to a discipling cult:
AND there shall
come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow
out of his roots: Isa 11:1
And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of
wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel
and might,
the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; Isa 11: 2
And shall make him of
quick
understanding in the
fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes,
neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: Isa 11: 3
But with
righteousness shall he judge the poor,
and reprove with equity for the meek of
the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth,
and with the breath of
his lips shall he slay
the wicked. Isa 11: 4
It was prophesied that Jesus
would not CRY OUT or call a mass meeting. In fact the only hint which
is related to the disciples is. Didn't Jesus explicitely say that HE
IS NOT INVOLVED IN COMMUNES?
For where
two or
three are gathered
(synagogued)
together in my name,
there am I in the midst of them. Matt 18:20
Wherefore Jesus
also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Matt 13:12
Let us go forth
therefore unto him without the camp (battle- array),
bearing his

People who want to be under
the HEAD OF A COMMUNE are trying to escape the REPROACH of being a
lonely believer.
Psalm 41 which prophesied that
JUDAS would not be
able to TRIUMPH OVER Jesus with "instruments and making a joyful
noise before the Lord" as the WARRIOR'S PANIC TAUNT SONG,
notes:

The ministry of the priests

In the book of Jude, the Book
of Enoch and others God will come with ten thousands of His saints to
execute Judgment. The
SPECIFIC sin was SILENCING the Words of the Living Word by the use of
MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS (a cappella). In the same way, when Jesus comes here is what He is
probably already doing:

John York: that led to the series of lessons these
past four weeks in which we explored an otherwise familiar subject,
the role of
women in God's
community. The desire that all of us, male and female,
should fulfill
our calling as
living
witnesses
of Jesus that is what brings us to the sermon series we begin this
morning.
There is a sense, Rubel,
........... in which all roads in this church family
...........
lead to Jesus
and that our quest
to be his people leads us now to the most famous sermon ever
recorded.
We know these words of Jesus as
the "Sermon on the Mount" in Matthew's Gospel (5:1--7:29)
We told you that the heresy of MUSICAL WORSHIP
TEAMS where religious music always meant HARD BONDAGE and was
performed by prostitutes and Sodomites CANNOT be the image of those
STANDING IN THE HOLY PLACE. Rubel Shelly promised that this MUSIC as
PERFORMANCE rejecting the WORDS OF CHRIST would LEAD YOU INTO THE
PRESENCE OF GOD. That replaced JESUS CHRIST as the sole Mediator
between man and God.
Now, John York and Rubel Shelly claim that the
CHURCH FAMILY or "institution" LEADS TO JESUS. But, Jesus isn't LOST
and He does not need a BABYLONIAN God finder or God
manipulator.
A Twelve-Step Program
Rubel
Shelly: The question we are raising over the
next twelve
weeks is how to get
into this material so that it gets into all of us.
We are convinced
that this is where we need to go in order to develop the theme of relational discipleship we have been exploring for some time
now.

Discipleship on the internet and you will find the SOURCE. I'll bet
there is another TRAFICKING BOOK in the making?
Before SHEPHERDING or the
DISCIPLING DILEMA Jesus (remember the one who preached the sermon?)
said that there is no RELATIONAL DISCIPLESHIP because those who take
on the BURDEN of being an "evangelist" will have to LEAVE father and
mother and friends and plow handles. Remember? But, the NEW
CROSSROADS or INTERNATIONAL CHURCH OF CHRIST (Featured at OCU this
year) being given a SECOND INCARNATION want the PAY but want to be
LOCATED MISSIONARIES according to Rubel
Shelly.
There are not THREE
GODS which allows Rubel Shelly and John York to convince you that
after your TWELVE STEP PROGRAM you will be led by the HOLY SPIRIT
PERSON. All evidence is that those who SEPARATE God into three
persons want the HOLY SPIRIT to be SOPHIA-ZOE or the Mother of the
gods. Don't go there because Paul said:
For in him dwelleth
all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Col 2:9
DISCIPLESHIP DEMANDS
GOING: don't pay for LOCATED MISSIONARIES
building COMMUNITIES or COMMUNES after the Exodus pattern:
And when they saw
him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. Matt 28:17
And Jesus came and spoke to
them, saying, "All
authority has been
given to Me in
heaven and on earth. Matt 28:18NKJ
"Go therefore and
make disciples of all the
nations,
baptizing
them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Matt 28:19
"teaching them
to observe all things that I have
commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end
of the age." Amen. Matt 28:20
Jesus validated His SONSHIP by speaking ONLY
what He heard from the FATHER (thought) within. He spread it out as
the DIVINE WORD by his BREATH or Spirit. Paul insisted that HE would
teach only what HE had heard from JESUS THE SPIRIT LORD. He insisted
that the ASSEMBLY or synagogue could GLORIFY GOD (not the performer)
by speaking with ONE MOUTH and ONE MIND "that which was written," The
Spirit or the Word of Christ leaving the SINGING and MELODY in the
heart.
Jesus and Paul would insist: "Teach the Sermon
as it has been taught" as the ONLY MARK that you are NOT a false
prophet. By USING the Holy Words of Jesus to promote SHEPHERDING by a
COMMUNE to lead the people to Jesus Christ they PROVE that they are
not leading you to the OLD Christ.
Mark then discusses the BEGINNING or MOST IMPORTANT
part of the gospel by introduce
John and the disciples of Jesus BAPTIZING as the fulfillment of
Malachi.
John York: So we are going to look at Jesus' sermon
as something of a manual
about discipleship.
We're going to call the series
"Whole-Life
Discipleship." But I've
probably just made a big mistake in terminology. I said we were going
to study these three chapters from the Gospel of Matthew as a
"manual."
But we have SPOKEN the words
intentionally and they CANNOT be UNSPOKEN:
And that language
is both misleading and scary. It can take us down the wrong path of
discipleship as performance, discipleship as measuring up,
and discipleship as
careful study
and more intense obedience to rules.
And that's the last thing we
want to
communicate. In fact,
we think that is exactly what Jesus was trying to pry out of people's
heads with this
sermon!
