Instrumental Music in Worship creates endorphins which
marks
the audience. This happens when new wine in winskins gives way to
MUSICAL ENDORPHINS which are LEGAL MORPHINE used in new
seeker-friendly TEMPLE STATES. Men like Joseph Campbell claim that
terms such as "new wineskins" are affect images which
actually influence the mind. That is, when people use it they are
"stamping" an image on your mind.
By analogy, music is absolutely necessary for
a successful tavern and it helps a lot of otherwise dead churches do
pretty well. On the other hand, the simple unision singing commanded
by Paul can be just as exciting because the "dialog" actually makes
physical changes in the brain while the Word is taught and
administered.
However, complex harmony with or without an
instrument can spread anxiety like a
plague and chase your members
away--unless you give them bigger and bigger injections. In time,
there is pain and then the church is killed off. These are marks in
the "forehead" or thinking part and in the "hand" or power
source.
The Bible and Melody or a
Drug-Producing Process
Every musical idea in both the Old and New Testaments is based upon
roots
denoting "to make vile, to pollute, to prostitute, to abrade, to
grind to bits (as in sop), to panic the enemy or to
sound the keynote so that everyone follows the leader": Iits very
popularity should prove to any spiritual, Biblically literate and
honest person that music is a MARK upon the carnal
nature of mankind and actually puts the spiritual or rational self to
sleep while it assaults the body with the reactions of
fight,
flight
or sex.
No wonder there is so much obsession with sexual addiction.
When the Israelite "congregation" assembled,
this MARKING was outlawed in God's command to Moses for the silver
trumpets (Numbers 10:7).

(the hands together), clang (an instrument); by anal. to drive (a
nail or tent-pin, a dart, etc.); by impl. to become bondsman (by
hand-clasping): - blow ([a trumpet]), cast, clap, fasten, pitch

This is why Paul insisted that melody be
in the heart to change the spirit and not be an attack upon the
body. When musical harmony sounds "spiritual" and the hair rises on
the back of your neck you have been
attacked by dis-harmony or a dangerous
drug which, in the words of one "pastor," is like LSD slipped into
the communion wine but a bit slower.
One pastor noting from the study

devil's instruments." However, "God saw how powerful the devil's
instruments were and decided to adopt them for His own worship."

they tried to force upon Jesus and that of the Dionysus women or

invaded them just as exhilaration in worship
is the new test of worship in the presence of God.

is similar. David and others often pretended insanity to declare
themselves innocent before God -- not even God can condemn a crazy

Have you noticed that singers and speakers
"soar away," go into a charismatic fit, and get so violent with
words that they actually froth at the mouth like
a mad dog.? This spittle of David was:

This can not easily happen when a person
remains in their right mind and speaks with a normal, sane tone of
voice.

used music to overpower the people for their own profit.

that melody in Hebrew carries the same meaning as to

harp players and this is even related to Lucifer. Of the king of Tyre
as the agent of Lucifer:

Melody works because it makes the hair stand
up on the back of your neck and arms and makes a cold chill run up
and down your spine. Don't believe it when the change agents tell you
that you have been professionally moved into the presence of God: You
are in contact with the wrong "spirit."

The Judas Bag was for "keeping the
mouthpieces of wind
instruments." It means "to speak in
tongues" and "after the world" or Kosmos.
Sixth, you
noted that melody, triturating or rubbing things raw or into powder
is related to the SOP which Jesus fed Judas. The Judas Bag was a bag or
chest "to carry the mouthpieces of wind
instruments." Judas symbolically
connected the musical principle to money collection. This in turn is
connected to the money chests in the temple which were called
"trumpets."
Conclusion:
This is why Paul demanded that melody be in the heart. Furthermore,
there is not a shred of evidence for the use of harmony which dates to
about the same period as the introduction of musical instruments.
Harmony imitates musical instruments, becomes addictive and calls for
larger doses including a multi-horsepower pipe organ or a Rock or Rap
band.
Musical Science Agrees With the
Bible and Pagan History
Do you know how irritating a barking dog can be as it
deprives you of sleep and poisons your system with unhealthy
chemicals? How about a dripping faucet? Well, that irritation doesn't
happen with pure continuous tones. In the motel you can turn on the
air conditioner and "drown out" the "barks" or "shouts" (common in
singing).
Now the singing of a single voice or unison
singing creates fairly pure tones. Four pure tones would produce
about 16 other "voices."
However, the harmonic principle of
two voices singing impure tones allows you
to hear up to 16 "voices" or overtones and there are dozens more
which may affect your mental well being.
Many of these "voices" or overtones are not
related and are really like audible "dog barks" or "water drips."
They are off key.
This will drive you over the edge of Lynn
Anderson's or Rubel Shelly's brink even as you are not aware of the
hidden "raps" and "rocks." Many people will move to a pew "out of the
line of fire" of loud preaching or singing. Most will head for the
door without understanding that they are escaping the grasp of the
unwelcome experience.
Why doesn't everyone catch on to the dog barks
and water drips? Some of the "barks" sound like the next note in the sequence and
help bind the two different notes into a "smooth" performance.
In other words, the harmony develops its own "bridge" to fool your
rational (spiritual) mind into believing that the Musical Team are
angelic hosts. They claim to preach a Christ-O-Centric gospel but
look and see who is at the O-center.
However, the dog barks and water drips are
still there doing damage, polluting, prostituting, taking your
inheritance and making the understanding of Christ's words absolutely
impossible.
The marathon runner can run only because the
pain created by the abuse of the body creates chemicals to deaden the
pain. The "left over" morphine-like drug then gives the runner
pleasure and he cannot wait for the next fix never understanding that
he is a drug-addict. Musical pain and runner's pain are identical.
"Even a dog that is
barking
"continuously" is really producing a drip, drip, type of
non-continuous interruptive
irritant, because no matter how small
the gap of silence between barks, we can hear it, and our
physiological system cannot keep
adjusting back and forth, from the
sound to the silence, in order to define its level and then mask it.
The longer it goes on, the greater the irritant, until it becomes
tortuous. Loudness has a little, but not much, to do with it.
The irritant is there as long as you can hear it. (Note: the mind is
abraded or ground to powder because it is running a foot race trying
to adjust from one note to another and then to silence."
RELATION OF THIS TO
MUSIC
"The continuity or
continuousness of notes in a melody is created because the previous
notes often have overtones or harmonies
that will usually (not always) match the next note or
notes in a fairly audible way. Thus we are hearing "more of the same" (or at
least partially more of the same) in the succeeding notes, and this
ties notes together into a melody or continuum of sounds and/or
harmonies.

Writing on the history of music Fink notes
that:
"At the earliest times in musical
development, a sense for "melody" would not have occurred
overnight. Prior to it, music often was the playing of
single notes, assigned to various rituals, such as one gong for
moon, another for sun, another for death, birth, etc., and played
without much or any regard to their succession as musical melody of any sort. Scales
might even be virtually non-existent as was harmony. [Note:
melody in English means single tones in a sequence. Even with the
harp, this rule was followed: the note of the string was the same
note as the voice. "Melody" does not include "harmony."]
"What is harmony for? After all, a single tone is more "pure" than any
combinations of tones or chords, which are cluttered with overtones
that are usually dissonant with each
other. Why did humanity bother to add, to the relatively clean single
tone,"harmony" notes (and therefore,
greater
dissonance)?
"The answer is that harmony's
function has evolved mostly to make the notes of melodies
"connect" or to make their connection to each other melodically
more apparent to the ear by making their common inner overtones audibly
explicit in chords. It follows that harmony had no reason to exist among any people who are lacking scales. Scales are,
historically, "congealed" or "generic"
melody in the abstract.
"Once scales developed (especially a favoured
two, major and minor), then we are looking at a people for whom
connections between notes is very important.
The agenda is whether
melody is important enough for them to overlook the dissonant
elements in chords
(compared to their purer, more consonant
single tones), so as to allow them to use chords in the
enhancement of their
melodies. Only after the full scale
and melody develop first can harmony even begin to appear on this
historical agenda.
"The oldest song dates this agenda far earlier
in time and gives to the diatonic scale a near-universal status not
formerly ascribed to it.
"Tonality", which is defined as a
"loyalty to a
keynote", is also exhibited in the
oldest song
by repeating phrases found
at the end of sentences, usually on the same note as the keynote of the tune. Evidence for the Origin of Music by Robert

Preachers who, like David, have lost their way
become specialists in forcing people to change with dog barks and
water drips sold in the commercial-religious marketplaces as a new
and improved worship system. The Bible clearly condemns such efforts
as polluting, prostituting and just "pruning your vine" to "take your
inheritance."
Plato In Timaeus
While it would not get an A+ in
Acoustics 101, Plato explained the "religious" nature of
music:
"The phenomena of medical cupping-glasses and
of the swallowing of drink and of the projection of bodies, whether
discharged in the air or bowled along the ground, are to be
investigated on a similar principle; and swift and slow sounds, which
appear to be high and low, and are sometimes
discordant on account of their
inequality, and then again
harmonical on account of the equality
of the motion which
they excite in us.
For when the motions of the antecedent swifter
sounds begin to pause and the two are equalised, the slower sounds
overtake the swifter and then propel them. When they overtake them
they do not intrude a new and discordant motion, but introduce the beginnings
of a slower, which answers to the swifter as it dies away,
thus producing a single mixed expression out of high and
low, whence
arises a pleasure which even the
unwise feel, and which to the wise becomes a higher sort of delight,
being an imitation of divine harmony in mortal
motions.
Next, it is important to understand why
so-called harmony can be so destructive while seeming to sound so
spiritual to some. To that end we will look at pain-created
endorphins (Morphine like) and the harmonic vocal and Instrumental
Music Connection
If the congregation suddenly discovers that
the sermons have evolved from human psychology in an effort to solve
your problems with new techniques they will feel like fools who have
been fooled. Never fear, Paul would say, "fools love to be fooled and
you are
so
wise."
The evidence is clear that the trampling
masses can be appeased and tranquilized with bread and circuss. After
all, wasn't music originally employed to appease the gods?
"During the 1940's and 1950's
groups of psychiatrists and students of mental health began
experimenting with music to sooth their patients... Dramatic results
were reported by numerous researchers. Though it has not proved the
cure-all that early practitioners hoped it would, music has won an
established place in mental and
emotional therapy. Some noted
specialists feel that in some patients it can have a tranquilizing effect unmatched by any known
drug. Though he didn't use the
vocabulary of modern psychiatry, one noted biblical figure endorsed
the view that music can sooth a troubled mind. King Saul was a
tormented man who exhibited many symptoms associated with
schizophrenia. Ancient historians described his condition in
theological terms; when he was less
than rational 'the spirit of the Lord
departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him' (1
Sam. 16:14)" (Garrison, p. 19)
"Are the endorphins the ultimate
painkillers? Unfortunately, the answer is, "Yes and no." Using the
endorphins themselves as drugs to control chronic pain is
impractical, inefficient, costly, and sometimes even dangerous. But
scientists refused to give up on the endorphins. There had to be a
way to get them to work for us."
Musical therapists note that pure, single
tones are most effective in tranquilizing people.. However, modern,
artificially-induced pharmakeia will, as
Rock-Music proves, eventially become destructive as we search for a
bigger "fix." It is a fact that in "worship" driven by choirs or
Levite-like "worship teams," the music is what is remembered. Not
much else that happens makes an impression. This agrees with the
almost-universal theme of the Old Testament, that music was adopted
by those who told God: "Go away. We don't want to hear from you."
Therefore, when the "services" begin with
singing sentimental poetry in loud, many-part harmony you can be sure
that you are being "prepped" for a matching sermon rather than from
the Word. You will neither hear nor understand 1% of it but
you will say "he is so Biblical" even if he murders Christ again by
taking the scalpel to His Word which He said was "Spirit and Life"
(Jn 6:63)
Amos, in the Septuagint, notes that israel
thought that their musical worship had abiding value but he
said that it was just fleeting
pleasure. However, the same thrill can
come as a result of learing some deep truth about God and will have a
lasting effect:
"One study casts some light on the
relationship between endorphins and
highly charged emotional
experiences" (Hutchinson, p.
154).
"This thrill response is
not limited to music. Most of us feel it as a natural part of any
experiment that is deeply moving or emotionally involving...be it a
poem, novel, mathematical equation, landscape, film, philosophical
disquisition, or song. ..Most important, the goose-bump quotient can
also be used as a rough indicator of one type of learning; the thrill
comes in response to a sudden
understanding, a feeling of knowing
which is not coldly logical and rational but instead is visceral,
intense, emotionally highly colored, and capable of altering your life." (Hutchinson, Michael, Mega Brain p.
155).
Sex can create the endorphins which make you
feel good but exhausted. Endorphins induced by loud, complex music
can also create the "sexual" experience without getting you
disfellowshipped. In the same way, the deep study of the Words of
Christ can produce the elated feeling created by endorphins. However,
endorphins created by loud preaching can not cause you to understand
the Word if it is not taught. And instructional-preaching is the
ultimate oxymoron as students of the lecture know.
Ezekiel Revelation and
the Babylonian Musical Connection
Ezekiel warned about the literal trumpets
which are ignored by the watchman and then applies it to the
spiritual watchmen. Ezekiel, who was speaking for God, would be just
like a music-playing prostitute. They would hear his words but they
would not make any changes.
Ezekiel says, therefore, that when the musical
women were entertaining you it would be impossible to have that
life altering
experience from hearing from God.
Indeed, most musical worship ministeries replace the Word of God with
their own sentimental poetry and a mind-altering delivery method
which injects the endorphin drug into the main line.
From the standpoint of lasting values, similar
studies show that the "spatial IQ of five-year-olds can be slightly
increased for about twenty minutes." Therefore, there is no abiding
value to music unless you are mentally deranged and that only for the
moment if quiet, single-tone (unison) music is played. Otherwise, it
is just fleeting pleasure. It is, on the other hand, highly effective
in getting the masses involved. But Jesus warned against gathering
the multitudes (Jesus always spoke to them in parables because they
didn't care) for "commercial" reasons by the use of literal or
artificially-induced drugs. Warning of end-time wine skin or
"exhilarating" worship services, John wrote:
And he cried mightily with a
strong voice, saying, Babylon the great
is fallen, is fallen, and is become
the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a
cage of every unclean and hateful bird. Re 18:2
For all nations have drunk of the
wine of
the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have
committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth
are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. Re
18:3
And I heard another voice from
heaven, saying, Come out of
her, my people, that ye be not
partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. Re
18:4
Like the king of Tyre and Babylon in the
prophets, the things they "lusted after" such as music and
entertainment, would go with them into the grave. This is not just
secular Babylon (could be the church next door) but a smooth blend of
secular merchandizing of the Word with a fertility-ritual or
effeminate religion. John wrote:
And the fruits that thy soul
(the physical principle) lusted after are departed from thee, and all things
which were dainty (fat, greasy) and goodly are departed from thee,
and thou shalt find them no more at
all. Re 18:14 (See Amos 5; 6 and 8)
And the voice of harpers, and
musicians, and of pipers, and
trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and
no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in
thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in
thee; Re 18:22
The light of a lamp will
never shine in you again. The voice of bridegroom and bride
will never be heard in you again. Your
merchants were the world's great men.
By your magic
spell (pharmakeaia or the ability to
alter the chemistry of the body through the poison of magic, sorcery,
witchcraft {Gal 5:20}) the nations were led astray. Re 18:23
The Sorcerers used literal drugs like alcohol
or forms of morphine. They were the pharmacists in the book
of Revelation. They knew that they could get the "worshipper" drunk
without wine through loud speaking, dancing, hand-waving and various
musical instruments like harp and drum.
"One recently identified
neuropeptide causes anxiety, the unpleasant
feeling that impels an animal to watch out for itself
in threatening circumstances. Vanlum.. blocks the cell
receptors... and prevents it from having any effect."
The "burden" Jesus came to relieve was
"spiritual anxiety from religious ritual." The clergy laded burdens
on the congregation like they would load pack animals. Then, they did
nothing to relieve the legalistic anxiety from not measuring up to
the clergy's standards. However, Jesus laid upon us an easy burden
which is described as just the "invoice" showing that He, as the
Ship, had borne all of the burden which would ever be or could ever
be born.
"Another neuropeptide,
enkephalin--one of the endorphins, a coined term meaning "morphine
within"--has nearly miraculous powers. It relieves pain and also
produces euphoria, mimicking the action of opiates... this natural
painkiller is released in large doses at times of extreme
stress,
as in battle or in childbirth.
Put the people under stress and they produce
endorphins. Put the same people under an endorphin
attach from loud vocal or
instrumental music or preaching and you produce the same stress
although it might be delayed until after the collection plate has
been passed.
Get the mob excited? Get em back next Lord's
Day? Well, bless your heart of course they will come back. You have
injected a dangerous drug into them. Some won't get home before they
will need another "fix." However, the feeling is really extreme
anxiety--something dangerous is about to happen. Get em ready for
fight or flight. They wont know that they are damaged goods when they
leave and shake hands.
Many people turn to church in times of extreme
stress and anxiety. They need the quiet reassurance of the Word of
God. Quiet Dialog can actually change the nature of the brain to
replace chemicals. They do not need their body chemistry stretched
any closer to the edge. Jesus said that "religious rituals" can
produce great anxiety. He said, "take no thought for tomorrow." The
program says, "take thought for tomorrow because level 6-Z or our
pyramidal ministry system kicks in at 8 O' clock sharp." He said that
the same people who produce the extremene anxiety are the very
doctors of the law who "take away the key to knowledge." Paul said to
the Corinthians, in his really nasty way, "you are so wise" but fools
really love to be fooled.
Endorphins Music and the Eating - Mating or
Fighting Connection
If your brain hormones, such as serotonin, is
at the wrong level, that exciting visiting choir damages the ear drum
and you feel like running for your life. By analogy, if you are
totally healthy, you can eat all of the sugar you like. However, if
not, that pleasant desert can kill you. In the same way, that
always-damaging, feel-good music can be tolerated and even sold as
beneficial to totally healthy people. However, if the health is
closer to the "edge," Loud music (or loud anything) can drive you
over the edge. No wonder that the people come and punch the clock and tell
the preacher by the rustle of song books that I can't wait to get away. As Paul told Corinth in 11:17, when you gather as a
congregation "your assemblies do more harm than good." Never mind,
many will be back for another fix:
Remember the Mary-Martha complex? After the
ritual is over "Pot-Luck Paula" rules over the flock:
"The sense of well-being or
euphoria created by the opiates and by enkephalin seems to involve
opiate receptors in a different pathway of the brain from that of
substance P. I n addition, another pleasure pathway or
'river of reward' may be actified (by other drugs). Both pleasure systems...
reinforce activities essential to
survival, such as eating and
mating.
(The Incredible Machine, NGS, p. 355-356).
However, Jesus and Paul issued an absolute
command which is violated every day of our life and twice on Sunday:
Therefore I say unto you,
Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall
drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life
more than meat, and the body than raiment? Mt.6:25
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by
prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made
known unto God. Ph.4:6
Listening to the charismatic speaker or the
sexually-attractive, talented, well-dressed, amplified choir
leading you into
worship, makes you want to have a
potluck. However, in a more restrained church society, you are
temptingly led into, but then refused, the ancient mating ritual
which usually followed pagan worship in Corinth and other pagan
cities.
However, stretching your sexual appetite will
bring you back next time. Well, of course, they know that. Even the
monks understood that as musical worship clergy was added to the
early church. The young boys began feminine and, in some cases, were
kept that way by castration. Read the newspapers and you will
understand the dirty little secret.
In a discussion of the physiological effects
of music, it is noticed that religious
beliefs stimulated by music create the
same pain killers as the stress from running. Or we might note, from an
attack of a wild bull or the enemy coming over the hill with a
bayonet pointed at your heart. You get the high which produces a
fight of flight response but this should be reserved for real
emergencies:

"stress induced analgesia- occurs in response
to many forms of stressful stimulation and is at least partly
dependent on endorphins.
"example- study with rat's feet in which after
a series of electrical shocks their feet became insensitive to pain
for several minutes
"belief- engaged in by some religious organizations.
- placebo effect- a pill or injection which contains
no active substance (the placebo) can
reduce pain in a person who believes
that the drug is a painkiller.
It is a fact that loud music with a jungle
beat and with a wide range of voices blending, mixing and confusing the
helpful pure tones can produce the same effect as running or sexual
intercourse. However, the paying audience might resent it if they
found out that the prophetesses (male and female) were just injecting
them with a drug to make "the poison go down" without
"division."
"Traditional music therapy focuses
on physiological or emotional response to music. Obviously, if you
have favorite pieces of music that makes you happy, this will tend to
enhance the production of endorphins, which
contribute to feelings of wellness. The body produces its own natural
mood
enhancers, called neuro-transmitters. Those that help us relax
are called endorphins. Beta-endorphins are those specific secretions
that Dr. Irving Oyle calls "joy
juice: they help us feel good and are
associated with "runners" high--and, I believe, the "high" one gets
in listening to pleasurable
music. Although there hasn't been a
great deal of research as of yet, studies have already demonstrated
the music-endorphin connection. In the near future, music will be
recognized for its ability to provide a drug-free "natural high" and used

The inspired model is unison singing of
familiar songs with one voice
teaching and admonishing
one another with the Biblical text:
That ye may with one mind and
one mouth (voice) glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ. Ro 15:6
Those involved in musical therapy understand
what the values of music can be achieved without fracturing or
disassociating mind and body with complex harmony:
"Rumi, a Sufi poet in the 13th
century describes the flute as "the
musical instrument which
symbolises the soul after its
separation from God". So, from
drumming to singing, there is always a door waiting to be opened. The
benefits can follow through into a daily awareness of activities
which ease stress and anxiety. Vocal therapist
Chris James describes how using the voice can be the
key: "It's one of the things we're
actually born with. We've got hands to draw, we've got feet to run,
we've got a voice that has an extraordinary range and ability to
charge the brain, to bring us into altered states ...when people listen to pure tone, it has a very
balancing effect...when you use the
voice to help align the body people feel it. Even hardened cynics can
feel a pure tone through them....'
On the other hand, scientific statements
continue to say:
"The recognition that something is
dangerous--or else very
new or exciting--does
more
than arouse the mechanism of memory. It also triggers a whole cascade
of events in the body through the brain's control of the
nervous system and its release of hormones and other chemicals...
making the heart beat faster, raising blood presure, and directing
more blood to the brain and muscles. The entire body is poised
for either fight or flight. We are all
familiar with some of the results--the racing heart, churning
stomach, dry mouth, and trembling hands of fear. Steven Halpern, Ph.D
That is why the congregation fidgets all
through the "celebration" and starts running for its life by
shuffling song books just when the preacher is punching in his magic
line. The "high" will fall away, they will experience a backlash and
be back for another fix.
A lot of this happens when we hear a beautiful
musician or choir. We know the excitement, heart-thumping,
chill-up-the-back feeling. We even begin to move excitedly. Could we
really be on the ragged edge of fight or flight. Have your own
hormones go wrong for a spell and you will know the truth and the
truth will set you free.
How else could an "ugly, sexually-ambigious,
can't-carry-a-tune, but can make a lot of loud noise to accompany his
body language" be worshipped as an idol by both sexes?
Beowulf : Instrumental Music Endorphins
Fight or Flight
Oponents of Rock concerts understand that when
someone reaches in and takes control of our emotions some very bad
things can happen. Not only should we resent any form of mind
manipulation, we should understand that we are under the control of
drugs. In the end, the highs and lows will prove very destructive:
"When such hyperarousal is
prolonged, it can make us sick. Recurrent fight-or-flight
responses to chronic stress may lead to heart disease... In some
primitive societies, witch doctors punish people
who have broken tribal taboos by pointing a bone in their direction.
This is supposed to cast a mortal spell. The culprits then believe
they are doomed. They fall to the ground, moaning ansd writhing,
refuse contact with others, and die within a few days. (The
Incredible Machine, NGS, p. 373-374).
The set up by loud, complex music creating
fight-or-glight responses is completed by loud, charismatic preaching
which is identified as Shamanism. It is pointing the bone (finger) at
you, moralizing, lexturing, flattering, shaming and "programizing" to
make you feel guilty. If you object he will move the boney finger to
set you down and shut up--ritually murder you.
The writer points out that lying expectations that
something inspirational is about to happen can make
it happen if only in the mind. When we receive our regular Sunday
scolding many, moved back to their childhood, feel guilty and do
better. This is an example of modern magic. However, Paul warned that
the singing and exciting speaking in Corinth was damaging to the
people. His advice for both men and women: just sit down, shut up and
permit anyone with a supernaturally -empowered message to preside.
Otherwise, as he told Timothy, "give your self to reading the Word"
and everyone can say, Amen!

Instrumental Music the Egg Curdling Brain
Curdling Weapon
One "pastor" lusted to put LSD into the
communion wine to create the "religious" response which music and
preacing takes longer to achieve. Not to worry! Music, we are told,
is the most powerful drug in the universe. It has always been Satan's
device to bypass the rational (masculine) side of our brain so that
the following "doctrine" can flow smoothly into the emotions. There,
it makes you feel good but why is that "brother" out for the "big
deal" before, according to Amos, "the Sabbath can be over?"
"It must be noted, Musicologist
Julius Portnoy found that not only can music, "change metabolism,
affect muscular energy, raise or lower blood pressure, and influence
digestion,
but "It may be able to do all
these things more successfully ... than
any other stimulants that produce those changes in our
bodies." (Tame, David, The Secret Power of Music, p. 138).
Instrumental Music works because it bypasses
the rational mind but chemically and physically vibrates every cell
in the body. You know that old radio? Sometimes it is easier to just
shake it or smack it than to fix it!
"To the question, 'Does music
affect man's physical body?' Modern research applies in the clear
affirmative.
"There is
scarcely a single function of the body which cannot be affected by
musical tones.
"The roots of the auditory nerves are more
widely distributed and possess more extensive connections than those
of any other nerves in the body. Investigation has shown that music
affects digestion, internal secretions, circulation, nutrition and
respiration. Even neural
networks of the brain have been found
to be sensitive to harmonic principles"

Music, p. 136).
There is no external melody or harmony in
Biblical "singing." None!
Dr. Adam Knieste, a musicologist who studies
the effects of music upon people noted:
"It's really a powerful drug.
Music can POISON you, lift your spirits, or MAKE YOU SICK without
knowing why." (Family Weekly Magazine,
January 30, 1983, p. 12, article by David Chagall)
Proud that you can get the congregation
high
with music so that you don't have to say anything Biblical in the
classes and sermons? Don't feel smug. You can do the same thing to an African
Violet:
"Paradoxical as it may seem,
music's effect upon the more primitive vegetable kingdom is one of
the most convincing methods of all for proving that music does affect
life, including human life. For
experiments conducted with humans, and even, to some extent, with
animals, have the extra factor of the mind to contend with. This
means that while men or animals may be demonstrated to have been
affected by tones, the effect may not have been a direct or
objective one.
"Rather, the effect upon the body
may have been caused by the mind's
subjective reaction to the music
heard. In the case of plant-music research, however, psychological
factors cannot really be said to be present. If music can be shown to affect plants, then such
effects have to be due to the objective influence of the tones
directly upon the cells and processes of the life-form."
Quiet music can make the plants thrive.
However, loud (as in church) music can make the poor things
desperately lean away. If sustained, the plants just "dies in
self-defense." Feminine or effeminate voices sound best but do the
most harm
"In conclusion, we can say that
insofar as the physical body is concerned, the notion that
music
has no effect upon man, or that all music is harmless, is absolutely in error." (Tame, David The Secret
Power of Music, p.141).
"Drs. Earl W. Flosdorf and Leslie A. Chambers
found in a series of experiments that shrill sounds projected
into a liquid media coagulated
proteins. A recent teenage fad was
that of taking soft eggs to rock concerts and placing them at the
foot of the stage. Midway through the
concert the eggs could be eaten hard-boiled as a result of the
music. Amazingly few rock fans
wondered what that same music might do to their bodies. (Larson, Bob
The Day the Music Died, p.116)
"Perhaps you have seen the
demonstration of the breaking of a glass by synchronizing high
frequency vibrations with the vibrations of the chemical combination
of the molecules in the glass. This in a word picture is what may
happen physiologically to the human body when dancing frantically to
rock music. (Larson, Bob The Day Music Died, p.124)
None of this makes "religious" music evil but
it does show that musicians understand very well that they can create
100% physical reactions and then sell this as a "spiritual"
experience. It is not.
Satan's Music Exposed - Music Causes Pain -
Causes Pain Killers
Some, single-tone music or unison voices can
be helpful. However, loud vocal or instrumental music makes us feel
good by
first making us feel bad. For instance, a
runner first creates extreme pain without knowing it. The endorphins
kick in to dull the pain. Because the body often creates too much of
various hormones, the runner experiences a high. He becomes
addicted and then runs just to get the drug injection without risk of
arrest. The same thing happens with "church" music which is designed
specificially to create endorphins by first creating pain and
disassociation of body and mind.
Some marriages are made in heaven but many are
made in the musical listening room. Loud, exciting, fast then slow
music can create that "in love feeling" because it sexually
stimulated both parties. However, "when the music" dies many
marriages find that "you have been killing me softly with song."
Lowell Hart in his book, Satan's Music Exposed,
writes of the following experiment:
"The unsuspecting "guinea- pigs"
were a teenage boy and girl. They had never met previously and were
completely unaware of any strange happenings. Unfortunately for them,
as they sat getting acquainted in a cozy "private" room with
soft
music playing in the background, their reactions were being observed
and recorded.
When classical music and soft ballads were piped
into the room they talked and were friendly, but somewhat aloof.
(traditional church music would be more like classical than
rock)
When pop music and jazz were played they
quickly developed a much "friendlier" attitude and began to hold
hands and put their arms around each other.
When the music changed back to classical
and ballads they would again become more formal and reserved. If the
music would swing back to the jazz and pop music "their formality
would give way to familiarity."(Hart,
Lowell Satan' s Music

This does not mean that all music is
destructive; it means that all music can artificially create any mood
that you like. In the words of Paul, if the body is dead and hidden
with Christ why do we believe that spiritual life can be changed
through external means?
Music may sound beautiful because of the
endorphins it creates. However, endorphins are often the morphine
drug created by our body only to dull the pain created by the music
or physical exercise. Music is the cause, pain and
destruction is the effect and the
thrill-producing endorphin "high" is the body trying desperately to
protect itself from the inflicted harm. If the pain is inflicted too
long we experience a drug-overdose which cannot silence the obscene
attack, we get sick (good for Prozac pills) and die before our
time.
Note the sequence to "feeling good"?:
"In a book written by William
Glasser, M.D., (prominent Psychiatrist and Educator) titled
"Positive Addiction" , (1976) he stated that people who run frequently
experience physical pain from the
trauma that running causes to their joints.
When this occurs, the brain causes endorphins and
adrenaline to be released into their blood to anesthetize them to this
pain and enhance performance.
The natural pain killer, (endorphin) acts like
a narcotic, not only to dull the pain,
but also causes what is called a
runners high.
"This high that runners
experience can cause disorientation at times,
whereas, the runner may loose sight of his/her environment and my
actually run into a car or tree. Neuroscientists say a
high
caused by the release of endorphins in the brain
causes euphoria and peak
experiences. Endorphins and
enkephalins are concomitants of the "fight or flight"
response...they are pain
blunting, pleasure enhancing
morphine like chemicals whose purpose is to make the body more
effective.
"But in certain situations when they are not
related to a "fight or flight" situation, they can have a negative
effect.
This explains why stress and music-created can
cause Mormons to see a giant steamship passing overhead with the
people waving at them. Or Presbyterians and others to experience the
"exercises" previously explained as mental illness
or witchcraft.
Like true morphine, music-produced endorphins
dull the rational mind and have their effect upon the emotional
nature not only through the ears but through altering the nerves and
cells of the entire body. Rock and Rap (both voodoo
derived) and even wired-up octets in Sunday dress are popular because
they attack the body; this produces pain; the brain kicks in and
produces a natural morphine; the morphine deadens the pain; and what
is left over gives one the pleasure high which ethically is no different than a mainline
injection of morphine. The music-drug
pushers engage in the trade for the same reason crack cocaine dealers
push their wares: profit and power.
"When I felt the pain from the sound wave
at the Sports Arena, I thought to myself, one reason that people would
like this experience (HI/LF sound) could be because they are
physically being
damaged throughout their
total body and
they are getting
high due to the release of endorphins
and adrenaline into their system which accompanies pain.
Since the sound wave penetrates their
total body, cellular structures are being damaged throughout
their body. Medical professionals have
known for years that HI/LF sound results in clinical manifestations
to auditory and balance functions but for some reason, wider exposure to other
body systems has not been emphasized.
When we look at the nervous system, we
realize that nervous system impulses occur serially and may be
described as frequencies. Much the same applies to the active muscle
system which is actually in a state of vibration. It is in this
vibratory field that all the bio-electric chemical, mechanical,
energetic, thermal, structural, kinetic and dynamic processes take
their course (Jenny, 1974).
"Therefore, when the natural
course of frequencies and vibrations are altered by external, HI/LF
sound waves that penetrate the total body system,
one can see the potential
for a breakdown in normal body functioning.
Don't we just love those songs which begin
ever so slowly: "Low in the grave He lay, Jesus my Savior." But song
writers know that teaching the Bible is not the goal. Therefore, just
at the right time, the high pitched voices enter and we literally
jump into a faster beat: "Up from the grave He arouse." Good device,
seems enjoyable. Spiritual? Doubtful:
"I don't want anyone to think that
music is bad or unhealthy, quite the opposite is true. We have all
heard that music soothes the wild
beast. There is music therapy, bio
feedback for relaxation and many other forms of calming music
including vibroacoustic therapy.
"What I am warning against is the
other end of the spectrum, music that hurts, enrages and
triggers fight or flight brain
reactions, resulting in physiological
changes that can be harmful. As Naomi Orr once stated,
"Military drums play
music designed to make your feet take you where your head never
would-Music is almost as dangerous as
gunpowder-". If we look at history, as far back as organized warfare
can be seen, there has been attempts to enrage soldiers into
battle by beating drums first
slowly (consistent with
heart beat) and then more quickly as troops enter battle. The
sound of the drums is low frequency and is as high intensity as the
instrument would allow at the time.
If God could get rid of all that is wrong with
His creation then we wouldn't need much "religion." Salvation from the
perversion of His perfect creation includes rest beside the still
waters whatever our problems. Jesus identifed the most troubling
burden and removed it as "anxiety created by religious
ritual."
Let's suppose that you are one of those young
or healthy people who have not undergone a life of big and little
traumas. You sit in the middle of the yellow plane which we will call
emotional sanity. Below the yellow plane lies the dark abyss of
emotional upset which appears as depression or anxiety over too many
things.

Someone decides to attack your emotional
health with a religious ritual including loud preaching, loud singing
or loud anything. Because you are healthy you hear the wired up octet
and feel that is spiritual. You feel "spiritual" because you have
been assaulted physically and sexually but some pain feels good.
Nevertheless, you feel spiritual because someone has moved you
off-center in the mode of modern change-agentry tension which is
deliberately applied just "to get you to sing during communion when
you don't want to sing during thinking time." Your new condition is
stability to the left or right but short of real damage. You have
been driven to the brink.

So far, a lot of people have been rolled to
the edge just short of crashing emotionally. They enjoy the "bungee
jump" and go home damaged but feeling "spiritual" because they have
been told that a drug high is God actually inside of their
body!
However, begin with many people already
close to the edge:
You may feel "Apostolic" but let us imagine
that you don't understand that, even with medication, from 10% to 20%
of the "growth stock" are "damaged goods" and a lot of the credit is
owed to "churches" which make a god out of the worship of ignorance.
Now, the state of a lot of those running for the door as soon as the
service is "closed" with a prayer is not ideal. They already
live close to the edge of emotionally damaged health already:

Because many live closer to the edge, what the
Jewish clergy thought of as worship Jesus branded as "children
playing musical games." In the mode of Chane Agentry it is done
deliberately with a crooked, perverse grin on their face. Lynn
Anderson calls this "prayerful brinkmanship" in his Navigating the
Winds of Change and he is scheduled to be at Jubilee 99 to do some
shoving with the shoulders.
Now, the result is an affront to one of the
children of God and it would be better if the "god's little players"
had a millstone around their neck because of the offense to a "little
one" and the driving away of the lambs from God's "Waterhing hole of
the Word." The "grinders" in the ancient world were quite often the
village prostitutes:

exciting a

indicate by the divinity that is in them who are apt recipients of the deities and their
sanctifications.
You differ from him in one point
only--that you produce the same effect with simple prose unaided by
instruments.
Is the picture far fetched? No. Paul
understood ancient paganism where women or effeminate men sang,
played and danced "over" the audience. By exposing herself in
performance and by standing
over or refusing to be
"sedentary" the women would expose themselves to the watching
world. It sill happens even if the tabrets and pipes are not literal
(they were literal at Jubilee 98) but are reproduced by the voices of
an octet or quartet creating harmony.
The "audience" has been driven from "center
stage" and the dancing girls (whatever their sex) are free to
perform
the worship for you. With children or "billy goats" being at the top
of the hill or "high places" (Har- Megiddo) might make you feel good
but it is a sure way to drive the
spiritually-minded people off the hill before they get driven
into a black hole of despair.

thereby have been able to survey the worlds.
For they suppose
that towards the North Pole is situated the Dragon, the
Serpent,
from the highest pole looking upon all (the objects), and
gazing on all the works of creation, in order that nothing
of the things that are being made may escape his notice. For though
all the stars in the firmament set, the pole of this (luminary) alone
never sets, but, careering high above the horizon, surveys and
beholds all things, and none of the works of creation, he says, can
escape his notice.
"Where
chiefly Settings mingle and risings one with
other."
CHAP.
XLVIII.--INVENTION OF THE LYRE; ALLEGORIZING THE APPEARANCE AND POSITION OF THE
STARS; ORIGIN OF THE PHOENICIANS; THE LOGOS IDENTIFIED BY
ARATUS WITH THE CONSTELLATION CANIS; INFLUENCE OF CANIS ON
FERTILITY AND LIFE GENERALLY.
And (Aratus) says
that (the constellations) Lyra and Corona have been placed on both sides near him,--now I mean
Engonasis,--but that
- he bends the
knee, and
stretches forth both hands,
- as if making a
confession of sin.
- And
that the
lyre is a musical instrument
- fashioned by
Logos while still altogether an infant,
- and that Logos
is the same as he who is denominated Mercury
- among the
Greeks. And Aratus,
- with regard to
the construction of the lyre, observes:--

- Then,
further, also near the cradle,
Hermes pierced it (a turtle shell
- with
strings attached) through,
- and said,
Call it Lyre."
It consists of
seven
strings,
signifying by these seven strings the entire harmony and construction of the world as it is
melodiously
constituted.
For in six days the world was made, and (the Creator) rested on the
seventh.
- If, then, says
(Aratus), Adam, acknowledging (his guilt) and
- guarding the
head of the Beast,
- according to the
commandment of the deity,
- will imitate
Lyra,
- that is, obey
the Logos of God, that is, submit to the law,
- he bends
the knee, and stretches forth both hands,
- as if making
a confession of sin.
And
that the
lyre is a musical instrument
he will receive
Corona that is situated near him. If, however, he neglect his duty,
he shall be hurled downwards in company with the Beast that lies underneath, and shall have,
he says, his portion with the Beast.
And
shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the
hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew
24:51
The Mark is on the
mind and
in the hand (g5495) of the power to the inner being from "pouring
like a rainstorm." This is related to the "gulf" or vacancy as an
impassable area.
For the days shall come upon thee,
that thine enemies shall cast a trench
about thee, and compass thee round, and
keep thee in on every
side, Lu.19:43
You "worship" whoever fights with you
and Christ to keep His Words away
from you. Ask: Who is it doing all of
that? Who is it that I "adore" or give my undivided attentention to?
Yes, they will say "we don't want to stand on the 'high place' and
stand between you and God" but that is exactly what they are doing
with a high hand putting their
mark into your innermost being by
doing an end-run around your "solid ground" or rational mind.
The Mark in the Literature
Augustine Book II noted the common
understanding
"It was
not Jupiter, therefore, that begat the nine Muses, but three artists created three each. And the state had
originally given the order for three, not because it had seen them in
visions, nor because they had presented themselves in that number to
the eyes of any of the citizens,
but because it was
obvious to remark that all sound,
which is
the material of song, is by nature of three kinds.
For it
is either produced by the voice,
as in
the case of those who sing with the mouth without an instrument;
or by
blowing, as in the case of trumpets and flutes;
or by
striking, as in the case of harps and drums, and all other
instruments that give their sound when struck.
Chapter 18.-No
Help is to Be Despised, Even Though It Come from a Profane Source.
28. But whether the
fact is as Varro has related, or is not so, still we ought not to
give up music because of the superstition of the heathen, if we can
derive anything from it that is of use for the understanding of Holy
Scripture;
nor does
it follow that we must busy ourselves with their theatrical
trumpery
because we enter upon an investigation about harps and other
instruments, that may help us to lay hold upon spiritual
things.
Chapter 19.-Two
Kinds Of heathen Knowledge.
29. But to explain
more fully this whole topic (for it is one that cannot be omitted),
there are two
kinds of knowledge which are in vogue among the heathen.
One is
the knowledge of things instituted by men,
the other of things
which they have noted, either as transacted in the past or as
instituted by God.
The
former kind, that which deals with human institutions, is
partly
superstitious, partly not.
Chapter 20.-The
Superstitious Nature of Human Institutions.
30. All the
arrangements made by men for the making and worshipping of idols are superstitious, pertaining as they do
either
to the worship of what is created or of some part of it as God,
[Both pagans
and Jews believed that the musical instrument such as the old
wineskin as a familiar spirit was the god or the house of the god]
or to
consultations and arrangements about signs (marks) and leagues with devils, such, for example, as are
employed in the magical arts, and which the poets are accustomed not so much to teach as
to celebrate.
[Paul
defined the "play" at Mount Sinal with instrumental music as worship
as consorting with demons, 1 Cor 10]

The "beast" was
Apis the golden calf representing the Egyptian Osiris.
And to this class
belong, but with a bolder touch of deception, the books (song or incantation books)
of the haruspices and augurs.
In this
class we must place also all amulets and
cures which the medical art condemns, whether these
consist in
Incantations, or in marks which they call characters,
or in
hanging or tying on or even dancing in a fashion certain articles, not with reference to
the condition of the body, but to certain signs (marks) hidden or
manifest;
and these remedies
they call by the less offensive name of physica,
so as to appear
not to be engaged in superstitious observances,
but to
be taking advantage of the forces of nature.
Examples of these
are the earrings on the top of each ear, or the rings of ostrich bone
on the fingers, or telling you when you hiccup to hold your left
thumb in your right hand.
Plato in Laws
[909b] or open to bribes, despise men, charming the
souls of
many of the living, and claiming that they charm the souls of the
dead,
and
promising to
persuade the gods by bewitching them,
as it were, with
sacrifices, prayers and incantations and who try thus to wreck utterly not only
individuals, but whole families and States for the sake of money,--if any of these men be
pronounced guilty, the court shall order him to be imprisoned
according to law in the mid-country jail,
Chapter 30.-What
the Mechanical Arts Contribute to Exegetics.
47. Further, as to
the remaining
arts,
whether those by which something is made which, when the effort of
the workman is over,
remains
as a result
of his work,
as, for example, a house, a bench, a dish, and other things of that
kind; or those which, so to speak,
assist
God in His
operations, as medicine, and agriculture, and navigation:
or those whose sole
result is an
action, as
dancing, and racing, and wrestling;
in all
these arts experience teaches us to infer the future from the
past.
For no man who is
skilled in any of these arts moves his limbs in any operation
without
connecting the memory of the past with the expectation of the future.
Now of these arts a
very superficial and cursory knowledge is to be acquired, not with a
view to practising them (unless some duty compel us, a matter on
which I do not touch at present), but with a view to forming a
judgment about them, that we may not be wholly ignorant of
what
Scripture means to convey when it employs figures of
speech derived from these arts
The mark in Greek is:
Charagma (g5480) khar'-ag-mah; from the same as 5482; a scratch
or etching, i.e. stamp (as a badge of
servitude), or sculptured figure
(statue): - graven, mark.
The word grapho means to
grave or
to write
or to describe something for you. The "beast" is the false teacher
who writes the Satanic message (not Christ related) upon your mind
and takes your power.
Know ye not, that to whom ye
yield yourselves servants to
obey, his servants ye are to whom ye
obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Romans 6:16
Hupakouo
(g5219) hoop-ak-oo'-o; from 5259 and 191; to hear under (as a
subordinate), i.e. to listen attentively; by impl. to heed or conform
to a command or authority: - hearken, be obedient to, obey.
Hupakoe
(g5218) hoop-ak-o-ay'; from 5219: attentive hearkening, i.e. (by.
impl. compliance) or submission: - obedience, (make) obedient, obey
(-ing).
Casting down imaginations, and
every high thing that exalteth itself
against the knowledge of God, and
bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Sorry, but the Word still
says:
But I suffer not a woman to teach,
nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
1Ti.2:12
If you allow yourself to be used to mark the
congregation with music which has always been associated with sexual
power in Paul's writings, you are not gaining the victory but putting
your looks and talent on sale.
Like the Cane Ridge "revival" and all such
mental and emotional breakdowns, those who get shoved off the edge
will equate the effeminate nerve-frazzling with true religion and may
never enter a church building again. This will surely happen when the
seekers
begin to look for a bigger fix than even church change agents are
willing to procure for them.
This is why God permitted the silver trumpets
when trying to panic the enemy in warfare. However, He utterly
outlawed loud, musical rejoicing when the "congregation assembles"
(Numbers 10:7)
There seems little doubt that Paul's
disparagement of musical instruments of boom (LF) and
clang
(HF) and calling the lifeless instruments or carnal instruments and
associating them with warfare point to the probably use of
instrumental music at Corinth. No, Paul didn't issue a law. As he
often does, he just ridicules the acts which "cause more harm than
good" hoping they will follow his final command to "sit down and shut
up."
"If one looks now at some of the
behavior displayed to current HI/LF music, we can see resemblance's
to our ancestors going into
battle, such as the slam dancing (mosh
pit) where people are actually hurling themselves at others,
inflicting physical pain. This is a prime example of a
fight or
flight brain response to the HI/LF sound.
But even if you are more civilized in this
type of sound (HI/LF) environment,
the body's physiology is still changing
to accommodate to the sound wave
damage to the body.
When your body
reacts to protect itself from this cell damage, it is in every sense a fight or flight brain response.
The modern use of loud or even low-level close
harmony is, without a blush, used as a form of spiritual warfare. Such
music will always be associated with "preaching" which has little
Biblical content and no long-range goal to instruct the body as
Christ commanded. The goal is to "triumph over" the old, outdated
folks who built and paid for the building being stolen from under
their nose. Like the ancient Chaldeans with their brass drums, they
are out to attack seekers to bring them
into bondage to a tightly-controlled, cult-like empire. If you tell
the fools being fooled that pain means gain they will interpret the
following symptoms as "spiritual" and be ready to verbally murder you
if you question them:
"This protective old brain (neo
cortex) response (survival response) causes the blood pressure to increase and heart to beat
faster so blood (oxygen) can be pumped
to the muscles to fight off the perceived saber tooth tiger.
The blood
thickens so that if scratched or
bitten in the battle, you won't bleed to death (cholesterol increases
since it is thickening agent to stop bleeding), we experience
hyper brain wave activity to be more vigilant, the
palms of our hands get
sticky so we can hold the club to beat
off the beast and the bottoms of our feet get sticky, as well, so we
can get traction to run away and escape the attack.
But we
aren't fighting a saber tooth tiger, but merely listening to
music (the old brain only reacts to
protect the body to survive). If we aren't physically fighting or
fleeing, then what happens to our body when all of this
physiology is occurring and we are sitting inside a car
(listening to HI/LF sound), sitting in a concert or home
environment.
What is happening, to varying degrees, is the
body is responding in a way that may be
adverse to your health. To paraphrase
the words to an old song, "Killing me loudly with his song, killing
me loudly" is a reality that is not far from the truth.
"The current work of Castelo Branco, M.D. of
the Center for Human Performance (Neurological Services of Capuchos
Hospital) in Lisbon, Portugal, is quite impressive when dealing with
the effects of long term exposure to HI/LF noise and vibration, which
lead to the concept of "Vibroacoustic Syndrome", (J.C. Guignard,
1992). He emphasizes other body functions that are effected by the
previous mentioned sound waves. His research
(The Clinical and Physiopathology
Basis Aspects of the Vibroacoustic Syndrome) has indicated
visual
problems, epilepsy, stroke type neurological
deficiencies and psychic
disturbances, i.e. anxiety, depression and
hostility.
Patients diagnosed with Vibroacoustic Syndrome
have an increased risk of thromboembolism. Also discovered were
central nervous system lesions, vascular lesions with predominant
involvement of peripheral small arteries (internal thickening) in
almost all areas of the body. Patients also have a degree of mitral
valve and pericardial abnormalities.
Also, malignancy and the
frequency of Sister Chromatid Exchange is significantly increased (A
Comprehensive Review by Bart P. Billings, Ph.D.)
Again, we quote that:
"Midway through the concert the
eggs could be eaten hard-boiled as a result of the
music. Amazingly few rock fans
wondered what that same music might do to their bodies. (Larson, Bob
The Day Music Died, p.116)
"Music is used
everywhere to condition the
human mind. It can be just as powerful as a drug and much more
dangerous,
because nobody takes musical manipulation very seriously." (Family Weekly, January 30, 1983, p.
15)
". . .music is more than a language. It is the
language of languages. It can be said that of all the arts, there is.
. .
none other that more powerfully
moves and changes the consciousness."
(Tame, David The Secret Power of Music, p.151)
"Music is a curiously subtle art with
innumerable, varying emotional connotations. It is made up of many
ingredients and according to the proportions of those components, it
can be soothing or invigorating, ennobling or vulgarizing,
philosophical or orgiastic. It has POWERS FOR EVIL
as well as for good." (The American
Journal of Psychiatry, vol. 99, p.317)
Isaiah warned that evil occurs when "women and
children rule over them." This is true of the Baby Boomers
contemplating their own belly buttons because they are
damaged goods created by the attack of morality by modern music from
Counrty-Western to Acid Rock to "Church" music. These are the
self-appointed children trying to lead us into a church modelled
after their "experiences" with God rather than their knowledge or
concern for God and His Word:
"Nothing is more singular about
this generation than its ADDICTION to
music. . . It is their passion; nothing else
excites
them as it does;
they cannot take seriously anything alien to
music.
"I suspect that the rock addiction,
particularly in the absence of strong counter attractions, has an
effect similar to that of
drugs." (Bloom, Alan The Closing of the American Mind, pp 68...81)
Religious music, like movie Cowboy music, is
mood music. Its design is to create a "religious" feeling to keep the
crowds aggitated, legalistically insecure and ready to listen to
anything to their own destruction:
"Another "proof" of the effects of
music on a person is the billion dollar industry called
Muzak or
"moodsongs". Muzak is the "mood music" that is piped into stores,
airports, doctor offices, et. al. in order to "create an atmosphere".
The book, Elevator
Music by Joseph Lanza, tells the
history of Muzak and other moodsongs. Lanza describes an episode at
the Hilton in Las Vegas when rock music was used as the "moodsong".
And because of the rock music,
customers experienced petit mal
seizures! Lanza writes,
"A doctor friend, a psychiatrist, later
told me that kind of pulsation
might create problems. I've
gone into markets, telling them they are killing their
business with high-speed rock." (Lanza, Joseph Elevator
Music, p.142)
This applies to modern "church" music which
has a "praise the lord jungle beat." The same Rock component is
evident even in the most "spiritual" songs. Rock and Rap are finding
their way into churches over trails blazed by "musical worship teams"
and instrumental music:
"Through foolishness they, the
people, DECEIVED THEMSELVES into thinking that there was no right or
wrong in music that it was to be judged good or bad by the pleasure
it gave." (Plato, Laws as quoted by Tame,
David The Secret Power of
Music, p. 189)
