We will respond to this letter below but first:
I received a sincere e-mail
from a very kind lady who was interested but asked whether my views
about music were not unique?
Now, that was lady-like, Christian-like and welcomed. It still made
the point that my views were indeed strange because:
Unique
means: "One and only view" or "highly unusual."
If we understand the
Scriptures, the majority view will always be wrong and the majority will be lost because they didn't
love the Truth. The unique
view will always be viewed with hostility especially by the "silversmiths" and idol
manipulators.
Because the majority are
rushing headlong into the restoration of ancient Jewish and pagan
"musical worship teams," we should look for the unique and seriously worry about the popular fads defended
by those who don't have a clue about the Word of God. For instance,
parallel to Amos 5, 6 and 8, God "sang a song" through Isaiah. And
when God sings you had
better get out of the way:
Woe
unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow
strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them
Isaiah 5:11
And the
harp, and the viol,
the tabret,
and pipe, and wine,
are in their feasts (religious festivals): but
they regard not the work of the Lord, neither consider the operation
of his hands. Isaiah
5:12
Therefore my people are
gone into
captivity, because they
have no
knowledge: and their
honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. Isaiah 5:13
Therefore
hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her
mouth without measure: and their glory,
and their multitude, and their pomp,

Of the Babylonian worship
system promoted by Lucifer's Agents God also commented on
music:
Thy pomp is brought down to the grave (sheol), and the noise
of thy viols:
the worm (maggot)
is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee. Isaiah 14:11 (This is
where the everlasting fires consume and the rest is left for the
maggots on the fringes of the garbage heap of Topheth where they played the tabret.)
And the Same Lord Jesus Christ
warned about end-time music:
And the
voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers,
and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no
craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more
in thee; and the sound of a millstone (Hebrew "grinders" were usually
prostitutes to enhance their income) shall be heard no more at all in
thee; Revelation 18:22
God continued to warn of those
who exalt
themselves as God's
musicial mediators or the dance team upon which God lands:
And the
mean (another man) man shall be brought
down, and the mighty
man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled: Isaiah 5:15
But the Lord of
hosts shall be exalted
in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in
righteousness. Isaiah 5:16

majority
worship where, God said

The craftsmen are the
technê who were "theater builders and stage managers." All
of these musical and theatrical terms speak of sorcery and therefore
of parasites.
Lust means that one has a conviction of what
is right and may have at one time defended it. However, because
personal taste or the urge for power is more inportant than the Word,
"body worship" replaces honoring Christ through honoring His word.
Lust is:

The apocolyptic Odes of Solomon provides a test of whether one is fitted for a life with God. Read all of the Odes for
context but look specificially at Ode 20. Ode 24 agrees with
Scripture and says of those who get violent when the word is
spoken:
And every one of

perished: for it was
not possible to give
them a word that they might remain: Ode 24:7
And the Lord
destroyed the imaginations of all them that had not the truth with
them. Ode 24: 8
For they who in their hearts
were lifted
up were deficient in wisdom and so they were rejected, because
the truth was not with
them. Ode 24: 9
For the Lord
disclosed His
way and spread abroad His grace: and those who understood it, know His
holiness. Hallelujah. Ode 24: 10
This ode agrees with Paul.
Those who are lifted
up with pride are most
likely the ones to be "sounding brass and tinkling symbols."

would be humorous to me, except that I have a concern for those who

Note: the urge to
laugh is the urge to mock and this, in turn, describes the mocking music God repeatedly warned against, associated it
with the delusion of music, and ultimately sentenced it to the fire
heap with the maggots finishing off the "body parts" falling away

grouch! You sound just like my preacher and elders.
First: I have never heard anyone say that
music is "necessary" in order to worship God. If it is necessary then
inspiration failed. Jesus never worshipped with music except to
"recite a Psalm" and He repudiated those who wanted Him to lament and
dance while they played the pipe like children.
Therefore, if some
unsuspecting young Christian viewed this garbage
and believed it how much
damage would occur?
What if they, instead, just honored Christ by honoring His Word --
worship in spirit and truth?
If, on the other hand,
unnecessary music does
close down the mind to rational (spiritual) truth; and our rock,
roll, rap and jazz prone children go from "cut out and paste up" to
singing, playing and dancing until they graduate and leave being
Biblically illiterate (Bible college cannot correct this) then how
much damage are you
doing?
Which looks most Satanic? As
the wineskin parable is turned on its head, I believe that you have
not logically thought this through and have have accused Satan of
what he would never do.
Second: Leaving music out could be of
no advantage to Satan. Therefore, why
would He urge me to condemn music as worship which in all traditions is attributed to him? Promoting music always gets you applauded by the
majority masses; rejecting it always gets you applauded by the
minority. That never gets you a book published or a "berth on Good
Ship Lectureship." Wouldn't Satan want me to "go with the flow" and,
like Jesus' unbelieving brothers, "Assure you the blue ribbon among
the singing, dancing, acting, book and poem selling, get on the
lectureship perverted Feast of Tabernacles?"
Conclusion: How then could I be a laughable,
"mockable," agent of Satan by urging you not to "offend one of these
little ones" by replacing the word with music, dance and drama?
Haven't you, consistent with
prophecy, called light darkness and darkness light?
If I understand anything from
ancient history, the history of paganism, the story of the Old
Testament, New Testament, church history, the testimony of the
"fathers," the testimony of all of the Reformers, the practices of
most denominations until the early to late 1800s when black "camp
meeting" (mixing voodoo with gospel) songs displaced the Biblical
text, and the practice of a huge body of non-Hollywood-influenced
churches throughout the world, it is that music has always been the
primary mind
manipulating device to
try to arouse the dead gods (re: David's Awake Pslams and dash 'em in
the head psalms).
I know it and medical and
acoustical (my livlihood was in marine acoustics) and musicologists
know that once you are under the influence of music the rational
(spiritual) left side of the brain has been shut down and everything
is filtered through the emotional right hemisphere with
no critical
evaluation of preached
facts. Isaiah 6 knew it and Isaiah 29 knew it and Jesus and Paul knew
that Israel's musical idolatry at Mount Sinai blinded their mind and
only by "turning to the Lord" and away from the cult of personality
and the idolatry of talent can you ever grasp what God is saying to
you. (2 Cor 3:15f)
Because music and "new wine"
appeals to the human (carnal) senses and accomplish the same
mind-dulling, how could Satan be pushing me to urge you
return to the Word of
God (the Spirit of
Christ) and honoring of Christ as full Deity (Col 2:9) with no Satan
cut-apart Holy Spirit apart from the full Godhead driving me into a
mild or severe charismatic fit. The music, dance and drama
cannot really even
begin , we are
told:
Until the "actors"
have already
fallen into mild
ecstasy which puts
enough brass on their face that they could presume to perform the worship for the congregation -- or even lead it
into worship right into the presence of God.
The end of Judaism and the
Musical Levitical Teams of David put an end to that practice and I
can come boldly before
the throne of grace
without a "Worship Dance Team" serving as the platform upon which God
lands" (right out of the Tower of Babel story).
Habakkuk 2 says that when "God
is in His Holy temple -- me -- the only response is an awsome
silence."
Because there is
no positive endorsement of music in the
history of God's dealing with mankind, your offended "little
children" would not
suffer if you
silenced the instruments and shut down the
harmony-mind-damaging music. God never said, "I like that." On the
other hand, when He spoke He always associated music with telling Him
to go away.
God speaks for God: David
doesn't speak for God and the just out of paganism in Corinth didn't
speak for God.
Because there is universal
condemnation of music as a tool to "worship for" or "to move the audience into the presence of God"
may you not be the one who is defending as an
"act of worship" that which is proven by medicine to be harmful,
always divisive and which "these little
offended ones could do without?"
Have you ever heard of a
Physics professor trying to teach "Sound" while a band and musical
worship team is playing? They would be "put out more or less
violently" as Jesus ejected the musical mourning women bringing on
false tears, or he would be fired. Anyone who attempts to teach the
words of Christ which are to be the only
source for singing (Ephesians 5; Colossians 3:16) with mind-altering,
truth masking music should be fired. God will judge them for
hiding the Words of Christ which need no
further "sermonizing" or "versifying."
Because your response is an
emotional one and not a logical one I suggest that you may be under
the influence and if ancient history is true you cannot climb back out of the valley and therefore feel
compelled to drag others away from the Word and into a thing called
"worship" which Jesus defined and taught as being "In spirit
(mind) and in truth (the Word.)
No New Testament church is ever
said to have met for our
definition of 'worship.'

Once again: No. Our view of music is the majority view of all spiritual spokesmen for God. This view
prevailed almost universally until the beginning of the last thousand
year period of church history among Jews, Muslims and
Christians.
Your view is the majority view of ancient paganism, the Jews under the curse of the law, and the view adopted primarily in the
early to the end of the 1800s under the urging of "Camp Meeting"
mentality when the goal of Baptists was to steal Methodist sheep" or
attrack the seekers. This happened only when Scripture ceased to be
considered inspired and not normative, and the view of the "spirit of
the word" permitted anything anyone wanted to do as long as it was
"sincere."
Satan (Lucifer) is
associated with mocking and music in the Bible, in ancient tradition, and in the
universal folklore of the world. If he is guiding me I will fall into the end-time panic to try to drag
people from all over the world into training classes teaching them
how to sing, dance, play music and dramatize (hypocriticize) the Word
to deny the power of Christ to speak to us
directly. We are told by experts that: "Drama works only because we
know that it isn't true."
If I am guided by the Word of
the Spirit Christ then I will be mocked by those connecting music and
commerce with the end-time spirit of Babylon. Satan has always tried
to "chain the Bible to the pulpit" and silence
everyone who does not subscribe to his team. I am just a non-clergy
voice crying in the wilderness: if Christ wants it stopped it will
stop. Quite naturally, it does not fit the majority pattern. You be
the judge but Christ will get the last word.
