Holy Entertainment Pagan Parallels: Lynn Anderson

Holy entertainment and pagan parallels is defined by Lynn Anderson, Jubilee 99, NAVIGATING the Winds of Change or BLOWING the winds of change? Change Agentry from neo- paganism and the secular world WEARS OUT the people of God. Jb.15:2 asks: Would a wise man answer with empty notions or fill his belly with the hot east wind? While we do not question the motives of Lynn Anderson, our aim is to show that it is all too easy to pick up good-sounding methods from the commercial world which might be destructive if used to attempt to make spiritual changes.

THIS IS THE DIRECT COMMAND

2Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season,
        out of season; reprove, rebuke,
exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
2Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;
but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers,
having itching ears; [eager for combat, pleasure, to be wanton]

HERE IS PROOF THAT YOU WILL NOT ENDURE SOUND DOCTRINE:

2Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth,
and shall be turned unto fables.

Jubal "Handled" musical instruments "without authority."

5.01.11 Well prophesied in Revelation 17-18

John T. Willis 2. "Sing" is vocal; "make melody" is instrumental. Psalms 33:2-3; 144:9; 149:1, 3 make this crystal clear. Amos 5:23 further verifies this reality.  People forget that God turned Israel over to worship the starry host because of musical idolatry at Mount Sinai. The Levites were under the KING and the COMMANDERS of the army: they made war and not worship. We will examine these passages in context.

Church is Ekklesia or Synagogue: both for instruction only: both exclusive of any performing arts: you don't do music when God's Word is taught.  I submit that you cannot be a Christian if you do not understand the meaning of "teach them what I have commanded to be taught."

3.11.11 Logos versus Mythos: Word versus Music Logos (modern) is rational of the word and STRAIGHT: Mythos and Sophia (postmodern) are irrational and Gender-Confused. Mythos Nomoi (traditional law)
(a) Eros is approved, and its excesses condoned, when directed towards superior youths approaching manhood.
(b) It appears to be condemned, in so far as parents forbid their boys to hold converse with “erastae.” The explanation of this ambiguous attitude must be sought in the principle laid down above, that the moral quality of an act depends upon the conditions of its performance.
GRACE is Kharizo 2. gratify or indulge a humour or passion, 3. in erotic sense, grant favours to a man,
give up as a favour by dropping a law aimed at him,
Those who willingly infiltrate and impose musical instruments into a peaceable church justify the deliberate sowing of discord based on false teachings of all of the "instrument" passages also preach that GRACE will cover them.

Grace Centered Magazine:  3.06.11.
This forum has a Church of Christ thread dedicated to abusing those who do not deliberately reject the clear teaching of the Word and recorded history. A common lie is that the Church Fathers had nothing bad to say about the use of instruments based on Scripture. We have refuted that to prove that NO ONE used instruments in the churches but refute the Jews who did because they had been abandoned to Canaanite Baalism or the worship of the starry host.

Lynn Anderson Psallo Justifies Instrumental Music and Sowing of Discord
Because all music and instrument terms are ROOTED in evil begining with making war, this paper will present some of the clear words making the case.  Even if modern preachers do not understand, the early church scholars did and universally rejected the idea of "music" in the church as vile and destructive of its teaching role.  We will next look at the word PALLO which Paul could have used if he wanted to even hint at the authority for playing "machines for doing hard work."

See the CHARISMATIC connections throughout history--there is no exception.

My sister, Carolyn, believes that each generation and each person has to undergo their own Armaggedon. This is a decisive crisis in the life of a movement or the life of an individual. If this is correct, we find it interesting that Jubilee 99 will feature the eleventh horn who will dominate the new world order.

Before looking at part of Lynn Anderson Change Agent Scheme, it is important to see that toward the end of the Millenium there has been a flood of revival movements claiming that Christ is about to bring the kingdom to earth. This "water" or new wine will attempt to drown out or wash away the simple gospel which provided no room for priests, pastors or prophets of a second incarnation in a new wineskin.

Nothing has been more destructive than the Baby Boomers (Infantile Drummers) who threaten non-support unless the culture is brought in and Christ is chased out.

Christianity Today notes that the new Sectarians are musical sects. And it is certain that within Restoration Movement churches, the proponents of music were the divisive sectarians.

You may want to take a look at the word "praise" and recognize that there is no such thing as a spiritual Praise Service. This is ancient Babylonian paganism.

Before God always takes control over revolutionaries, the last Horn of the Armageddon (Means: "Polemic battle with self-exalters."). Jubilee 99 at which he may (if we understand the parable) the eleventh horn displace the previous three little horns from the role of king of the change agent movement) Revelation 17 and Daniel 7 are universal patterns for the little Armageddons all of us have to battle:

And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. Daniel 7:24

And he shall speak (poetically) great (as the embodiment of the adversary) words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. (3 1/2 years) Daniel 7:25

Bela (h1080) bel-aw'; corresp. to 1086 (but used only in a mental sense); to afflict: - wear out

Bala (h1086) baw-law'; a prim. root; to fail; by impl. to wear out, decay (caus. consume, spend): - consume, enjoy long, become (make, wax) old, spend, waste.

Because scholarship knows that the "serpent" in the garden was a musical enchanter(ess) and caused Eve (Zoe) to bow while perforning as the king/queen of Lyre--the singing and harp playing prostitute,-- and ancient Babylonian tablets and Gnosticism connect music as the weapon of Satan, we know that music afflicts and is the signal (mark) for the lost to "bow to Baal."  In Babylon 6 instruments are named three times--666---and the sign of idolatry would be the sound of musical instruments.

Only Satan makes you into singing, clapping, playing and dancing demons to utterly wear you out so that you CANNOT give attention (worship) to God. Messiah as God's ARM would come to intercede and put down the clergy parasites:

Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Mt.11:28

Phortizo (g5412) for-tid'-zo; from 5414; to load up (prop. as aa vessel or animal), i.e. (fig.) to overburden with ceremony (or spiritual anxiety): - lade, be heavy laden.

Jesus EJECTED the musical mourning team "more or less violently" as one casts out Dung. In their place He gives us rest:

Anappauo (g373) an-up-ow'-o; from 303 and 3973; (reflex.) to repose (lit. or fig. [be exempt], remain); by impl. to refresh: - take ease, refresh, (give, take) rest.

As the eleventh horn of the Jubilee 99 polemic battle between self-exalters, Anderson is the high priest of change agentry who actually proposes that to make the changes, he wants to make over the objection of the congregation, he must push them to the brink of disaster or break-down and then, at the last moment, grab them and pull them back into their comfort or peace zone. That is, he proposes and Jubilee 99 will implement a process to wear out (consume the old) the saints of the most High and think to change times (Jewish festivals such as Jubilee) and laws:

Because Anderson has sold the ancient scheme of Nimrod who attempted to "make spiritual changes through external means" even when the Holy Spirit did not supply the methodology he has learned from the secular (and neo-pagan) world, does he literally speak great (to siddle off) words against the most high?

When the dominant clergy who have usurped the role of the people and even of God totally wander away (and even change their name), the "one another" ministry of the Christian system will be restored:

But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy (wander away and lose oneself) and it unto the end. Daniel 7:26

And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. Daniel 7:27

If that could be paralleled to our time it might offer hope that the clergy whom Jesus fired "laded" the people down like pack animals. The burden is defined by the Greek as "spiritual anxiety created by religious ritual." Hopefully, the clergy can be fired again and the people will take dominion.

The horn which "rises above the plain" in his little Armageddon as he does pollemic battle to afflict and wear out the people, is:

Qeren (h7162)keh'-ren; corresp. to 7161; a horn (lit. or for sound): - horn, cornet.

Qeren (h7161) keh'-ren; from 7160; a horn (as projecting); by impl. a flask, cornet; by resembl. an elephant's tooth (i. e. ivory), a corner (of the altar), a peak (of a mountain), a ray (of light); fig. power: - * hill, horn.

Bela (h1080) bel-aw'; corresp. to 1086 (but used only in a mental sense); to afflict: - wear out. (Literally, to make old)

And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. Rev 17:9

And there are seven (7) kings: five are fallen, and one is (+1), and the other is not yet come (+1 makes nine); and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. Rev 17:10

In Revelation, the horns are:

Keras means
2. of musical instruments, a horn for blowing, Xen.: a flute, Luc.
3. a drinking-horn, Xen.
Keras
1. bow, toxon enôma . . peirômenos . . mê kera ipes edoien Od. 21.395 , cf. Theoc.25.206, Call.Epigr.38, AP6.75 (Paul.Sil.); for Il.11.385 v. infr. v.l.

That is why the PSALLO word as authority to deliberately sow discord has as its first meaning making war from Apollo or Apollyon of Revelation. The second major use of the word identifies the red rope which marks as polluted those who dally around the singers, players and merchants in the market place and forced to attend the ekklesia which was for verbal instruction

Semenai is the MARK or SEAL of the Beast which is MUSIC to help those musical agents take captive the churches.

When Israel ROSE UP TO PLAY with musical festivals they repudiated God who had built them like a vineyard with fences to WALL OUT the beast or evil people. He built watchtowers from which people could blow the WARNING TRUMPET in case of invasion. However, the musical religious festivals caused God to BREAK DOWN THE WALLS to let the beast people come end and eat up their inheritance. Satan's helpers do that peacable churches. Here is the meaning of the FRUITS which the end time religion LUSTS AFTER:

Plutarch, Lives Pericles

And since he was the inferior in wealth and property, by means of which Cimon would win over the poor,--furnishing a dinner every day to any Athenian who wanted it, bestowing raiment on the elderly men, and removing the fences from his estates that whosoever wished might pluck the fruit,--

Pericles, outdone in popular arts of this sort,
had recourse to the
distribution of the people's own wealth. This was on the advice of Damonides, of the deme Oa, as Aristotle has stated.

[3] And soon, what with festival-grants and jurors' wages and other fees and largesses, he bribed the multitude by the wholesale, and used them in opposition to the Council of the Areiopagus. Of this body he himself was not a member, since the lot had not made him either First Archon, or Archon Thesmothete, or King Archon, or Archon Polemarch. These offices were in ancient times filled by lot, and through them those who properly acquitted themselves were promoted into the Areiopagus. [4] For this reason all the more did Pericles, strong in the affections of the people, lead a successful party against the Council of the Areiopagus.

Not only was the Council robbed of most of its jurisdiction by Ephialtes, but Cimon also, on the charge of being a lover of Sparta and a hater of the people, was ostracized, --a man who yielded to none in wealth and lineage, who had won most glorious victories over the Barbarians, and had filled the city full of money and spoils, as is written in his Life. Such was the power of Pericles among the people.

Jesus cast out the musical minstrels like dung and consigned the pipers, singers and dancers to the Agora or marketplace.  He did the same with those taking up collections to be diverted:

And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Fathers house an house of merchandise. Jn.2:16

Emporion (g1712) em-por'-ee-on; neut. from 1713; a mart ("emporium"): - merchandise.
Emporos
(g1713) em'-por-os; from 1722 and the base of 4198; a (wholesale) tradesman: - merchant.

Emporos ê kapêlos: wholesale or retail dealer. This comparison often appears in Plato (cf. Soph. 223 d, 224 d, 231 d) and in later writers. Of those who see preaching or music as a religious trade Peter warned:

2 Cor 2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

2 Cor 2:17NKJ For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ

1 Tim 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

Porismos (g4200) por-is-mos'; from a der. of poros, (a way, i.e. means); furnishing (procuring), i.e. (by impl.) money-getting (acquisition): por-ismos earning a living,

Kapêl-euô ,A. to be a retail-dealer, drive a petty trademathêmata sell learning by retail, hawk it about, of prostitute.

Adulterantes verbum, Vulg. 2 Cor. 2, 1
Adultero ri, fraudare, II. Fig., to falsify, adulterate, or give a foreign nature to a thing, to counterfeit,

Malachi 2:11 Judah hath dealt treacherously,
............ and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem;
............ for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the Lord which he loved,
............ and hath married the daughter of a strange god.

Profaned: h2490. chalal, khaw-lal´; to profane (a person, place or thing).. denom. (from 2485) to play (the flute): take inheritance, pipe, player on instruments, pollute, (cast as) profane (self), prostitute, slay (slain), sorrow, stain, wound.

Now see how this MODEL is used by Satan in the end-times "religion"

It is clear that these methods of change agentry are borrowed from Babylon where Nimord promised "spiritual revival through external means." In the book of Revelation, the Babylonian system, which was an unholy marriage of religion with commercialism, will come to an end:

And the fruits (Catamites) that thy soul lusted (breathed hard) after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. Revelation 18:14

And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; Revelation 18:22

THUS hath the Lord God shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit. Amos 8:1

And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the Lord unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more. Amos 8:2

A basket:

Keluwb (h3619) kel-oob'; from the same as 3611; a bird-trap (as furnished with a clap-stick or treadle to spring it); hence a basket (as resembling a wicker cage): - basket, cage.

As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich. Je.5:27

Keleb (h3611) keh'leb; from an unused root mean. to yelp, or else to attack; a dog; hence (by euphemism) a male prostitute: - dog.

For dogs have compassed me: the assembly [multitude, swarm] of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. Ps.22:16

Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. Is.56:11

And I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the Lord: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy. Je.15:3

The Latin translates the taking of fruit as:

Similar Latin:

revello, velli, vulsum or volsum, 3, v. a., to pluck or pull away, to pull or tear out, to tear off or away (freq. and class.).

I. Lit. be torn away, remove,
II. Trop., to tear away, send away
injurias honorificis verbis,
Signum: A sign, signal; a watchword, password, given by a wind-instrument.

As little mountains of Armageddon they can be identified by the word:

Airo (g142) ah'ee-ro; a prim. verb; to lift; by impl. to take up or away; fig. to raise the voice, keep in suspense (the mind); spec. to sail away (i.e. weigh anchor); by Heb. [comp. 5375] to expiate sin: - away with, bear (up), carry, lift up, loose, make to doubt, put away, remove, take (away, up). (honorable men, magnify, marriage utterly wear out from g5375) (Ancient Jubilees were to take away sins)

Remember that the mountain of armageddon are people who rise up, lift up and exhalt themselves above the plain. This final battle is not the war of the worlds. Rather, it is the war of the words. The battle is from the Greek-

Polemeo (g4170) pol-em-eh'-o; from 4171; to be (engaged) in warfare, i.e. to battle (lit. or fig.): - fight, (make) war.

Polemic is from the Greek "polemikos" and means a war: "to shake, cause to tremble, dispute, controversial, argumentative. A polimicist is one "skilled in making war." (Webster) (I.e. a skilled change agent)

And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs (toads) come out of the mouth (edge of a weapon) of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. Re 16:13

The task of the false triad are "spirits of demons." The task is to "work miracles" to gather the "kings" of the earth where they will be defeated.

About 1255 London
"The depiction of the great red dragon and the leopard like beast is based on details provided in the text. The artist represents the false prophet, whose physical appearance is not described, with a beaked nose, simian body, cloven hooves, and diabolical-looking red talons. With splay-legged frogs flying from their mouths, these three creatures confront Saint John, who stands to the left.

He raises his left arm in defense while with his right hand he pulls on his forehead, as if he must force his eyes open to witness the terrors that have come to the earth as part of the Last Judgment. This gesture draws attention to the saint's large open eyes, emphasizing the role of sight in visionary experience." Getty Edu.

When you see Satan or Lucifer unveiled you see something which dazzles the eyes. He/she is at the same time so utterly disgusging and so "fascinating" that you cannot take your eyes of him her:

"You might hear many poor wretches of sophists, shouting and abusing each other, and their disciples, as they call them, squabbling; and many writers of books reading their stupid compositions, and many poets singing their poems, and many jugglers (buffoons) exhibiting their marvels, and many soothsayers giving the meaning of prodigies, and then a thousand rhetoricians twisting lawsuits, and no small number of traders driving their several trades. (William Barclay)

Paul called the SUPER APOSTLES. It is not surprizing that many see themselves as APOSTLES or even Christs:

Sophos

I. properly, skilled in any handicraft or art, cunning in his craft, Theogn., etc; of a charioteer, Pind.; of poets and musicians, id=Pind.; of a soothsayer, Soph., etc.

2. clever in matters of common life, wise, prudent, shrewd... better than all craft, Soph.; sophon [esti] c. inf., Eur.

The Greek PSALLO has the primary meanint of to TWANG a bow string to send a SINGING arrow into your heart. Apollo who is Abaddon or Apollyon working for the end-time prostitute religion was the father of "twanging bow strings, singing arrows, musical harmony, thieves and liars. He specialized in the SEEKER SYSTEM at the Oracle of Delphi:

1 The arrow sped from Apollo's gold-wrought string is called a "winged glistening snake" because it stings like a serpent's bite. There is also a latent word-play: ophis "snake" suggests ios "snake's poison" which also means "arrow."

The frogs created by the miracle workers in Egypt were called "marsh-leapers." It comes from a word meaning to "skip about." They will come hopping into your house, bedchamber, thy bed, thy people and they ovens. In short, they are uninvited and detestable but they take over. An Egyptian goddess, Heqa, was represented as having a frog head.

These kings for an hour are really frogs and they are not what they are quacked up to be. They are-

"Quacks were represented as frogs and were associated metaphorically with serpents." (Vine) (Marsh-leapers in Hebrew)

Lord Jesus Christ came to take the keys to knowledge away from those who had taken the Word away from the people of the Kingdom. He denounced the clergy and said that we should call no man "Doctor of the Law" or Rabbi. Instead, He came to relieve His people of the burdens of the clergy and the burdens they laid on the congregation as prayerful brinkmanship. He said:

Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew11:28

The Burden He removed is the burden Lynn Anderson and the musical worshipers try to lay on the congregation even if it takes a long time and a lot of dangerous plotting:

Phortizo (g5412) for-tid'-zo; from 5414; to load up (prop. as aa vessel or animal), i.e. figurative (of Lynn's Change Agentry) to overburden with ceremony (or spiritual anxiety): - lade, be heavy laden.

The peace and load-lifting Jesus died to give the least of us was:

Anapauo (g373) an-up-ow'-o; from 303 and 3973; (reflex.) to repose (lit. or fig. [be exempt], remain); by impl. to refresh: - take ease, refresh, (give, take) rest.

But How does this Fit the Change Agents

First, understand that Jubilee 98, Jubilee 99, Look to the Hills sponsored by the Zoe Group, Willow Creek and other schemes need men as Change Agents who have been trained in the disciplines of music, drama and mind-change facilitation.

For instance, Lyle Schaller and other business builders for the church propose that to meet the 21st Century you need a leader to whom people stick:

Team leader (Pastor):

Full-time, paid. A magnetic personality, networker, entrepreneur, who attracts a diversity of people.

Worship leader: Full-time, paid. Recruiter of various types of indigenous music. The primary responsibility is to recruit unchurched people who just happen to like singing, playing an instrument, being involved with drama, running the sound system, or generating computer graphics. From.

Indigigenous means "produced naturally." That, too, fits the ancient pattern.

The Change Agent Team at Woodmont Hills

Neo-Pagan Parallels

While we don't doubt their sincerity and perhaps they subconsciously adopt naturally-appealing methods, Lynn Anderson or Rubel Shelly's "upset the equilibrium" and "prayerful brinkmanship" could have been copied from the following neo-pagan resource. This attempt to facilitate and cleanse ancient witchcraft recommends the following agents of holy entertainment:

"Liturgist, Seer and Priest are the clergy specialties eligible for ordination. They will have a foundation in the same basic skills. In addition to those skills, the Liturgist will specialize in scholarship.

"He will draw his magical inspiration from uncovering what the ancients did in their rituals and adapting them to our own.

He will also have a strong base in drama, so he understands how dramatic principles apply to the making of effective ritual.

"The Seer, by contrast, will draw his magical inspiration more directly from his contact with the Otherworld. He will concentrate more on divination (music is important ks) and trancework, to allow him

"to better guide the congregation in making personal contact with the three kindreds.

"The Seer will also have a fair amount of counseling training, both to help monitor people during ritual, and to perform in that role if need be when his divination skills are requested outside the context of ritual.

"The Priest is trained to lead a congregation. Rather than the concentrations of the liturgist and seer, he has a basic knowledge of all the clerical skills, plus other skills needed to run a church like fundraising, group process, etc.

"The Magical specialty is for all those who wish to be trained in magic whose primary interest is not in becoming clergy,

but in learning the wider applications of magic, whether it applies to themselves and performing their own rituals, or in enhancing their contributions to public rites, or as it applies to others in dealing with more personal issues.

"The Bardic specialty is for all those who wish to perform the bardic function in ritual. This function is to enhance the magical efficacy of each step in our rites through the use of bardic magic.

The meaning of holy entertainment:

A bard is "A Celtic poet and singer of epic poems, who accompanied himself on the harp" (Webster)

"The main function of music in the early times of biblical history were social merrymaking, marital noisemaking, magic incantation, and worship. Merry-making in particular was the main function of music during the age of patriarchs and judges (e.G. Gen. 31:27; Exod. 32:17-18; Judg. 11:34-35), sometimes even licentiously practiced (e.G., Isa. 23:16). (The Int. Std. Bible Dict., p. 457).

"Certain members of a tribe, marked out either by unusual skills or by some (sexual or) emotional abnormality,

ususally became particularly adept at these operations, and gradually assumed specialized functions.
Released from the duty of hunting (evangelizing), and concentrating on the practice of magic, the shaman, sorcerer, or medicine man was the world's first professional." (H. B. Parkes, Men and Gods, p. 29).

The worship facilitator is to "help lead the worshiper into the presence of God." However, Arnobius warned that:

"May it not happen, may it not come to pass, although you craftily conceal it, that the one should take the other's place, deluding, mocking, deceiving, and presenting the appearance of the deity invoked."

"If the magi, who are so much akin to soothsayers, relate, in their incantations, pretended gods steal in frequently instead of those invoked; that some of these, moreover, are spirits of grosser substance, who pretend that they are gods, and delude the ignorant by their lies and deceit." (Arnobius Against the Heathen, Ante-Nicene, VI, p. 479).

The state festivals, funerals, "marrying and giving in marriage," the theater and the temple, therefore, used many of the same rituals and--

"They resemble each other also in their pomp, having the same processional to the scene of their display from temples and altars, and that mournful profusion of incense and blood, with music of pipes and trumpets,

all under the direction of the soothsayer and the undertaker, those two foul masters of funeral rites and sacrifices." (Tertullian, de Spectaculis, Ante-Nicene, III, p. 84).

We suggest (letting our consciousness stream) that "lifting holy hands as a ritual with song and dance" is a real substitute for the incense and blood which, apparently, the sacrifice of Christ did not end.

Arnobius warns that these magical rites (Jesus warned against the fertility rites of wedding and funeral played by the musical children called clergy) have their second incarnation and get a new wineskin because their old schemes don't work as they have never worked. In order to increase the attendance and contribution, they mark out certain professionals to become Musical Worship Teams. The result is that the old "patterns" which they destroyed are replaced with new, destructive "paradigmns" but the fools cannot tell the difference.

23. But the true gods, and those who are worthy to have and to wear the dignity of this name, neither conceive anger nor indulge a grudge, nor do they contrive by insidious devices what may be hurtful to another party.

For verily it is profane, and surpasses all acts of sacrilege, to believe that that wise and most blessed nature is uplifted in mind

if one prostrates himself before it in humble adoration;
and if this adoration be not paid,
that it deems itself despised, and
regards itself
as fallen
from the pinnacle of its glory.

It is childish, weak, and petty, and scarcely becoming for those whom the experience of learned men has for a long time called demigods and heroes, 37 not to be versed in heavenly things, and, divesting themselves of their own proper state, to be busied with the coarser matter of earth.

Note 37: So Ursinus, followed by Heraldus, LB., and Orelli, for the ms. errores, which Stewechius would change into errones -" vagrants "-referring to the spirits wandering over the earth: most other edd., following Gelenius, read, "called demigods, that these indeed"- daemonas appellat, et hos, etc.

"Nay, rather, to speak out more truly, the augurs, the dream interpreters, the soothsayers, the prophets, and the priestlings, ever vain, have devised these fables; for they,

fearing that their own arts be brought to nought, and that they may extort but scanty contributions from the devotees,
now few and infrequent, whenever they have found you to be willing that their craft should come into disrepute, cry aloud,

the Gods are neglected, and in the temples there is now a very thin attendance.

"For ceremonies are exposed to derision, and the time-honoured rites of institutions once sacred have sunk before the superstitions of new religions. And men--a senseless race--being unable, from their inborn blindness, to see even that which is placed in open light,

dare to assert in their frenzy what you in your sane mind do not blush to believes." (Arnobius, Against the Heathen, Ante-Nicene Fathers, VI, p. 418).

That is what I thought when I watched Jubilee 98 on my computer screen. Without blushing, Rubel Shelly told the old blasphemous joke about how Father and Spirit "aced out" Son who got tricked into comming to earth to do the work. I still shudder and blush at what happens when the frenzy -- possible only in large crowds -- takes control. Holy Entertainment!

When Isaiah's prophecy comes true that "women and children rule over you" this does not just mean women in the pulpit or preaching over the congregation with a tune and male swingers and swayers and hand lifters giving her authority. Rather, it means that effeminate pagan forces take control.

From a Neo-pagan resource, the ritual facilitator notes that:

"Throughout this essay and the ones that follow, I'll refer to the "performance" of a ritual, and make numerous other references to the theatrical and musical aspects of ceremonies.

"I've learned over the last twenty years, mostly from the priestesses and bards with whom I've worked, that the artistic elements of a ritual, and most especially the musical and dramatic ones,

"can be the critical determiners of just how much psychic, magical and/or spiritual energy gets raised by the participants, and of how well that energy is maintained, focussed and discharged.

"We've been raised in a culture that believes that "theatrical" equals "phony", and that being an actor means being a fraud. We've forgotten that

what we now call theater was originally part of the Ancient Greek religion (translate: Pagan):
(essentially, a way to handle thousands of people in a single ceremony),

"and that all great performers act as mediums, channeling energy between themselves, the audience and the collective unconscious.

Oops! There goes my stream of consciousness again. Did you know that Jubal (rhymes with ---) the name of the ancient trumpet and Jubilee festival taught people how to handle instruments and people. The Hebrew is:

Taphas (h8610) taw-fas'; a prim. root; to manipulate, i. e. seize; chiefly to capture, wield; spec. to overlay; fig. to use unwarrantably: - catch, handle,

By Roberta Walther Dancer-Mediatrix

We are called to be kings and priests (I Peter 2:9). In this study I would like to focus especially on the priesthood and some of the functions which they were responsible for, as well as how these functions relate to dance particularly in regards to intercession Webster's defines a priest as,

"One authorized to perform the sacred rites of a religion;

especially as a mediatory agent between man and God."

This is what most theatrical performers claim: the power to move you into the presence of God. Therefore, consistent with the Zoe Group Concept, they are the feminine or effeminate goddesses on a level higher than Jesus Christ. Eve or Sophia or Zoe were the mediatrix, the Mother of the gods:

However, Paul said:

Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 1 Tim 2:4
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;1 Tim 2:5
Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. 1 Tim 2:6

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

"As dancers we have a calling to be signs and symbols to the people of God and to the world. We are to manifest His character (i.e. we are idols) in every step that we dance and every gesture that we make.

In our priestly duties as dancers we have an incredible resposibility.
We not only
bring the offerings of the people to God, but as we dance we also

provide a platform for God to step down upon in order to touch His people with His presence....

I see us as a bridge between God and man, and bridges do get walked upon! So if we are to be anointed vessels of honor used for His glory, then we must not shy away from the fiery trials of purification that will surely come our way. As our lives are, so will our dance be!

However:

"Shamanism often exists alongside and even in cooperation with the religious or healing practices of the community....Knowledge of other realms of being and consciousness and the cosmology of those regions is the basis of the shamanic perspective and power. With this knowledge,

the shaman is able to serve as a bridge between the mundane and the higher and lower states.
The shaman lives at the edge of reality as most people would recognize it and most commonly at the edge of society itself." - Dean Edwards, "Shamanism-General Overview"

And in Witchcraft:

"The circle above represents a circle of spirits, joined in prayer, standing around a healing light. Half are in body; half are in Spirit. They have joined hands,

forming a bridge between the two worlds. Our faith tells us that once you entered this page, a link with Spirit has, indeed, been established. Please Click Here Before You Endanger Your Soul.

"It's difficult for those of us who are white, middleclass intellectuals (and that's most Neopagans) to relax and
be dramatic in our rituals. So we tend to be inhibited both in our scripts and our performances,

and to not bother to learn the dramatic skills we need -- including the scripting, directing, and acting skills necessary to make sure that everyone feels involved at every step of the ritual (so that no "performer vs. audience" distinction develops).

Yet if we can manage to overcome our inhibitions, our prejudices, and our laziness, our ceremonies will improve a thousandfold in power, beauty, and glory.

A Working Model of Change Agentry Wearing Out the Saints of God

Modern facilitators consciously or subconsciously (unconsciously?) land in downtown Babylon. This, indeed, is the prediction of the book of Revelation. To see how this fits ancient and end-time Babylonian religion Click Here.

As an example of forced change agentry, Lynn Anderson, Navigating the Winds of Change, p. 104 puts the audience through three forms of "worship." The first was the Old Path led by the Song Leader as he admits that he is trying to force something against the will of the majority of the congregation (This is god-like presumption):

Lynn Anderson: "Since the fellowship of which I am a part is heavily left-brained and rationalistic in its emphasis and style, I wanted the class to experience both styles of worship as well as discuss them. So we kicked off segment one with three traditional hymns from the old hymbook. Jeff, our song leader, led from up front, warmly but very formally, traditionally. After each song he double-announced the next number. No two hyms were on the same theme....Left-brained people were feeling secure and at home.

Things were familiar and heavily cerebral.
I
assume their worship was genuine. Right-brained people, however, fiddled with pew racks, counted ceiling tiles, and checked their watches.

Now, this is a pretty fanciful analysis of the nature of the "worshipers." It takes a lot of heavy analysis to determine which side of the brain dominates.

Lynn Anderson: "In segment two, the tempo of the class shifted abruptly into celebrative praise and worship, with contemporary songs projected on a screen in colorful graphics. Readings, prayers, and singing clustered around a single theme. The worship team led directly from one song to the next without interruption,

intentionally moving the tone and content of worship in a specific direction,
gathering the congregation into the momentum of the experience.

A few songs included clapping and one or two worshipers actually 'lifted holy hands.'

The beaming expressions of the worship leaders spread to the class members.

"Several short Scripture readings moved quickly from one reader to the next, climaxing in a congregational responsive reading.... The feeler/creative right-brainers were transported while thinker/analytical left-brainers rolled their eyes, and their body language said, 'Oh, please! Give me a break!" Lynn Anderson.

Lynn Anderson has just described mind manipulation as the only Change Agent other than the Word of God! To see how this deliberately defeats spiritual worship just to get a grin from the worship facilitator, Click Here.

The fact is that such charismatic singing was always Sorcery, Musica, Magica, Cantus, Exegesis, Hermeticum=using SEXUAL MEANS to induce a feeling which historically was always sexual. The Vineyard Mother says that one ACT OF WORSHIP was reaching a CLIMAXING feeling with God. Then the last ACT is giving of means. This is all built on voodoo and Babylonian Holy Harlot worship defined in Revelation 18.

Because it can't adjust its focus as it moves, the pigeon actually has to bring its head to a complete stop between steps in order to refocus. This is the way it walks: head forward, stop; head back, stop. Don't laugh -- that's how it goes!"

Even the pigeon is smart enough to stop and focus after each step. If he came under the direction of a good Change Agent (working against his nature) the pigeon would fly backwards."

Lynn Anderson's word, "transported" means to "carry from one place to another, rapture." Rapture comes from rape. The change agent has deliberately deprived some of the weaker members of their personal identity as they intentionally seek to "crack away" from some authority.

Postmodernism practiced by a few DISSOCIATED facilitators of charismatic paganism insists that one must INDUCE SCHIZOPHRENIA before you can, in the words of Rubel Shelly, rid them of decadent and deleterious religion. The weapon introduced by Satan in the garden of Eden uses music which induce drugs or drugs themselves.

Joseph Campbell, a promoter of Carl Jung, notes that:

"when the symbols provided by the social group no longer work, and the symbols that do work are no longer of the group, the individual cracks away, becomes disassociated and disoriented, and we are confronted with what can only be named a pathology of the symbol." (Joseph Campbell, p. 89). Click Here to see how Joseph Campbell noted that things like wine (or wineskins) is an affect image which has mystical power to disorder the mind of the weak. The methods of all change agentry and neo-paganism is to distract the "worshipers" from the facts. Some scholars believe that the word "Selah" attached to some of the Psalms would be a strum of the harp or some other signal at the end of the reading (not sung) of a Psalm. This signal called for silence so that the meaning of the Psalm could sink in and become meaningful to the worshiper. The intentional removal of "thinking time" from worship rituals is the intentional urge to move the worshipers into rapture (to get raped) so that they no longer function as rational (spiritual) thinkers:

"Jung claims that patients can be trained to do this by "first of all in systematic practice to ........eliminate critical attention, whereby a vacuum is produced in consciousness."

"In essence, the techniques Jung then recommends are those thatactively promote the ...... ........ dissociation of consciousness [This is schizophrenia}

"and therefore disrupt the so-called normal sense of continuity of self, identity, volition, and the processes of memory. (Noll, p. 229)

This explains why the first question at the steak house is: "What did the preacher say this morning?" You simply cannot learn with music unless you are a toddler.

From Rubel Shelly's Look to the Hills facilitation workshop:
"Gifted worship leaders and resource people, multi-media presentations,
........ great communicators and innovative worship activities
........ will lead those who attend into deeper levels of worship.

"Activities will include: Uplifting music Stirring drama Individual worship and meditation Choral reading and singing Concerts of prayer Small group interaction Communion. Proclamation of the Word Models for worship renewal Classes and worship instruction Books, recordings and resources Interaction with other worshippers. (See Zoe for More)

What happens is that the "worshipers" are led into their own emotional state where rational thinking is swept away and the worshipper listens uncritically to the preaching nonsense and will not dare question the change agent:

"Scientists report that noise has a definite effect on our working efficiency.
........ Noise increases the pulse, quickens the blood pressure, and upsets
........ the normal rhythm of the heart.

Noise has just as bad an effect on spiritual life.
........ The man who is occupied with the things that keep him from hearing the voice of God in his heart is spiritually frustrated.

"It is impossible for those who are alway noisy to have true peace of mind, peace of heart, and peace of soul! This is why God has said, "Be still, and know that I am God" (Psalms 46:10). And, "But the LORD is in his holy temple; let all the earth be silent before him."

See why the witches have invented the "music as worship" scam when true worship of a Spirit God has always been "in spirit" or "in the mind" as it "gives heed" to God through His Word.

Now, let us look at some Neo-pagan (witchcraft) warnings:

Neo-Paganism: "The next step is to merge into a "groupmind." For those of you unfamiliar with this term, think of it as getting everyone present to be "on the same wavelength",

experiencing the same emotions and seeing the same visual and mental images.
This is usually done through individual
centering and grounding, followed by a reminder to the congregation of what they have in common (ancestry, beliefs, relations to the divine, etc.), and some sort of meditation,
song or other activity designed to promote a sense of unity and to begin the circulation of coordinated psychic energy by the group.

Lynn Anderson: The beaming expressions of the worship leaders spread to the class members.

Rubel Shelly and John York: Just as identity in Christ is always COMMUNITY identity,

our reading of Scripture becomes a COMMUNITY READING as well.

While we still have access to reading as individuals,

we stop asking, "What does this mean to me?"--as though there is such an isolated meaning. Instead we have a GROUP MENTALITY that asks, "What does this mean to US?"

"'The League of Nations', said the Archbishop of Canterbury, at Geneva, 'may go far to make the Kingdom of God a reality in our lifetime'... 'The League of Nations', says Dr. Jowett, has for its aim 'the transformation of the kingdom of this world into the Kingdom of God'" (1)

At the heart of this new "group-think" mentality were well-funded occult and illuminist organizations such as the Theosophical Society, Lucis Trust, and the Fabian Society, who ultimately promoted the concepts of Socialism into mainstream thought. In 1925, the Scopes Trial added the element of Darwinism into public consciousness, and the concept of "species survival" augmented the 19th Century notion of "Social Darwinism".

These philosophies, when blended into the attitudes and values of the masses of humanity, diminish the importance of the individual and elevate the virtues of the group. Biblically, this flies in the face of the doctrinal teachings of the New Testament, God's love and concern for the individual, and ultimately individual salvation.

At the same time, a group-think mentality promotes the false concepts of the "brotherhood of man", ecclesiastical unity, political globalism, and the sacrifice of individuals in order to insure "species survival" -even to the extent of mass genocide to eliminate the "feeble-minded" and other undesirable elements of society that may ultimately prove to be a threat to the species as a whole. 1. "Modernist Millennium", Perilous Times Newsletter, Vol. 2 #16

Neo-Paganism: "Praise Offerings most often consist of songs and poems, preferably original, designed to have the maximum emotional impact. We have also had ritual drama performances and storytellings, as well as ritual dances.

"Pacing is absolutely critical here, because this is the main "power raising" for your ceremony (See The Voodoo Connection). The folks who plan to offer Praise should show their material to everyone during rehearsals, or at least to the presiding clergy beforehand,

so that the best possible performance order be worked out ahead of time.

Then people can be called upon to offer their Praises in such an order as to generate the greatest possible amount of energy.

See how this neo paganism or witchcraft is worked out by those attending the Tulsa International Workshop and the A cappella musical group.

Lynn Anderson, is unhappy with a prayer which he brands as trite and impersonal. Wow! Everyone knows that in order to generate the greatest amount of energy you have to be rehearsed:

"Next, followed an impromptu prayer, which, while not meant to be that way, turned out to be trite and impersonal, probably because it was led by a last-minute recruit. Left-brain people were feeling secure and at home... I assume their worship was genuine.

Does this sound like works-intensive legalism or what?

Neo-paganism: "You can, of course, just pick a person to begin, and go around the grove deosil, hoping that the energy will grow and that the last person will be terrific. With small groups where everyone is offering something, this approach is fairly common. But as far as results are concerned, it's very unpredictable, and often the last Praise Offering is not as good as an earlier one was.

"With this sort of a situation, or if some outside event has disrupted the steady buildup of emotional power, the presiding clergyperson may want to end this section by calling upon the best bard present to do a specific piece that she/he is known to be good at. Clear this with her/him beforehand, and make sure that they know what pieces they may be asked to do, so they won't spend precious time retuning their instrument, or trying to remember words they haven't sung recently. If the presiding clergyperson is a bard him/herself, then he/she can make this decision instantly, knowing (we hope) their own strengths and weaknesses, and perhaps doing the final Praise Offering him/herself.

Lynn Anderson: The worship team led directly from one song to the next

without interruption,
intentionally
moving the tone and content of worship in a specific direction,
gathering the congregation into the momentum of the experience.

See the Babylonian Praise Leader: the world's oldest profession.

Without knowing it, Lynn Anderson pulls the oldest trick out of the old wineskin hat: "Praise in such an order as to generate the greatest possible amount of psychic energy."

Neo-paganism: Another option you have hear is to have ready a simple, powerful, and well-rehearsed chant to use as the final Praise Offering.

Start it out softly, then gradually build up the volume and speed of both the voices and the music (especially drums).

Lynn Anderson again: "gathering the congregation into the momentum of the experience."

Neo-paganism: Decide on a cue (such as raising their arms high) for the presiding clergy to use to indicate that the last verse is coming up. This part gets tricky. You can't just stop the music abruptly at the end, since folks are likely to start yelling and screaming (especially at a large festival rite), and your carefully woven web of energies will go splattering in all directions.

The Bible:

Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: Is.28:15

Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. Isa 28:16

Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. Isaiah 28:17

See Isaiah 28 on the speaking in tongues connection.

See Isaiah 25 that the BRANCH of the Abominable one is a "song with instrumental accompaniment."

Make Hast is

Chuwsh (h2363) koosh; a prim. root; to hurry; fig. to be eager with excitement or enjoyment: - (make) haste (-n), ready.

That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it Isaiah 5:19

This connects to the methods the Jews used to PLEASURE THEMSELVES:

Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them Isaiah 5:11

And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the Lord, neither consider the operation of his hands. Isaiah 5:12

Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. Isaiah 5:13

Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. Isaiah 5:14

Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm (maggots) is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee. Isa 14:11

And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled: Isaiah 5:15

Can't you picture yourself in the high places of the Canaanites as the group-mind is gathered or collected and moved into the momentum of the experience:

Lynn Anderson: "A few songs included clapping and one or two worshipers actually lifted holy hands." Several short Scripture readings moved quickly from one reader to the next, climaxing in a congregational responsive reading.

Or as Carol Wimber of Vineyard would put it:

The fourth phase is described as "God Visits His People when "Expression then moves to a zenith, a climactic point, not unlike physical lovemaking... We have expressed what is in our hearts and minds and bodies, and now it is time to wait for God to respond.

Stop talking and wait for Him to speak, to move. I call this, the fourth phase, visitation:"

Most schemes of the most ancient pagan, musical worship is much more explicit.

Naturally: The fifth phase is called "Generosity "The fifth phase of worship is the giving of substance

Well, it doesn't sound too exciting but to be a successful change agent you must know that:

"People cannot endure sustained disequilibrium! Here is where most eye-on-the-goal, can't -wait-for-the-plodders style of change agents mess up.

They push people into acute disequilibrium and hold them there till an explosion comes. So, what to do!"

Willow Creek: "Douglass, who has developed the most successful Willow Creek-based church service in Germany, even maintained, "I think this approach is most applicable to the state churches. We have the people, even if they don't attend. We enjoy an incredible edge in confidence vis-àvis the free churches." He cautioned,

"The cost of this approach is hard work and loads of strife with church insiders.

Christianity Today This page somehow got REMOVED and renumbered. A check with Willow Creek in Germany dismises it as out of date.

Neo-paganism: If the musicians and chant facilitators drop their volume on cue and slow down for the final verse (which they should), with no visible signal to the rest of the grove, then the other participants may not notice,

but instead continue to increase the volume and the speed of their chanting until it all falls apart.

Lynn Anderson: so, what to do? Why, just like in Neo-paganism, you:

"Weave! Alternate between safety and disequilibrium. Teach new ideas a while, stretching your church out beyond comfort zones and into fresh thinking...Bend but don't break!

Neo-paganism: Try this: When the cue is given, have your chant facilitators step three paces towards the center, turn around with their arms held high, and gradually lover their arms as they lower and slow their voices (and the musicians lower and slow their music). The presiding clergyperson can be doing the same gesture near the main altar, slowly rotating in her/his place. The chant will end with everyone slowly whispering it, then stopping simultaneously. The chant facilitators can then return to their previous positions, and the energies in the grove will be at a strong and steady peak. (This technique will work even better if it's been used a few times earlier in the rite, or at previous ceremonies.)

When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? Isa 8:19

Owb (g178) obe; from the same as 1 (appar. through the idea of prattling a father's name); prop. a mumble, i. e. a water-skin (from its hollow sound); hence a necromancer (ventriloquist, as from a jar): - bottle, familiar spirit.

"It's important to remember that the primary purpose of all these Praise Offerings is to raise as much psychic/magical/spiritual power as possible, all of it focussed around the deities of the occasion -- not to boost the egos of the performers (that can be a secondary or tertiary purpose). By the time the last Praise Offering is done, the grove should be charged up with as much energy as it is capable of generating.

Rubel Shelly wants a Worship Facilitator to lead the worshipers into the presence of God. Our Neo-Paganism source agrees and advises:

"The Gods are watching us, so let's give Them a good show!"
