Jude 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation,
it was needful for me to write unto you,
and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend
for the faith [THE WORD] which was once delivered unto the saints.

Jude uses the PATTERN of the Instrumental-Trinitarian-Perverted PLAY (See Romans 1) to warn of those FOREORDAINED to repeat the same idolatry.

Jude 4 For there are certain men CREPT [really creepy] in unawares,
who were before of old ordained to this condemnation,
ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, [

Jude 5 I will therefore put you in remembrance,
though ye once knew this, how that the Lord,
having saved the people out of the land of Egypt,
afterward destroyed them that believed not.
Jude 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate,
        but left their own habitation,
he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
Jude 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner,
giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, [literal or persona]
are set forth for an example [pattern], suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

"Now, many a man from the false religions, which are not ashamed of criticising what is noble, will ask: how can there be a feast without carousing and overeating, without the pleasant company of hosts and guests, without quantities of unmixed wine, without richly set tables and highly stacked provisions of everything that pertains to a banquet, without pageantry and jokes,

bantering and merry-making to the accompaniment of flutes and citharas, the sound of drums and cymbals and other effeminate and frivolous music of every king, enkindling unbridled lusts with the help of the sense of hearing. For in and through the same [pleasures] those persons openly seek their joy, for what true joy is their they do not know.

THE A CAPPELLA WORSHIP LEADER: THE GOAT SINGERS OR CASTRATOS.

ANDROGYNOS (Hermaphrodite): By: Moses Gaster
In all the parallel passages in the Talmud, the opinion of Samuel b. Naḥman alone prevails, for we find regularly Adam (bifrons, double-fronted), as, for example: 'Er. 18a, Ber. 61a, etc. (Jastrow, "Dict." s.v., p. 304, 1).

The opinion expressed by Jeremiah is, however, very old and wide-spread, for we find the fathers of the Christian Church at pains to refute this "Jewish fable  "The papacy also continued the practice of creating castratos (boys castrated before puberty to keep their singing voices high-pitched) for their own entertainment, long after it had fallen in disfavor throughout Italy."

"How can we hear their music today, since we have no more castratos to listen to? Well, during the current renaissance in Baroque music, some castrato roles have been carefully recreated by counter-tenors also known as male altos or sopranos. Other musicial parts are sung by women who use a natural alto or soprano range,

but adopt a style which attempts to make the music sound appropriately 'masculine', at least for male roles
"Philodemus considered it paradoxical that music should be regarded as veneration of the gods while musicians were paid for performing this so-called veneration. Again, Philodemus held as self deceptive the view that music mediated religious ecstasy. He saw the entire condition induced by the noise of cymbals and tambourines as a disturbance of the spirit.

He found it significant that, on the whole, only women and effeminate men fell into this folly.

Accordingly, nothing of value could be attributed to music; it was no more than a slave of the sensation of pleasure, which satisfied much in the same way that food and drink did.

In the Gnostic world musical worship teams would mean that Zoe or Sophia-Zoe or Eve-Zoe as the Lucifer figure had replaced the Word. Zoe is identified as the Beast.

"An androgynous human being was produced, whom the Greeks call Hermaphrodites; and whose mother the Hebrews call

Eve of Life (Eve-Zoe), namely, the female instructor of life.

"Her offspring is the creature that is lord.

Afterwards, the authorities called it "Beast", so that it might lead astray their modeled creatures.

Plato, Euthydemus [289d] On what proof do you rely? I asked.

I see, he said, certain speech-writers who do not know how to use the special arguments composed by themselves, just as lyre-makers in regard to their lyres: in the former case also there are other persons able to use what the makers produced, while being themselves unable to make the written speech. Hence it is clear that in speech likewise there are two distinct arts, one of making and one of using.

I think you give sufficient proof, I said, that this art of the speech-writers cannot be that whose acquisition would make one happy. And yet I fancied that somewhere about this point would appear the knowledge which we have been seeking all this while.

[289e] For not only do these speech-writers themselves, when I am in their company, impress me as prodigiously clever, Cleinias, but their art itself seems so exalted as to be almost inspired. However, this is not surprising; for it is a part of the SORCERER'S art, epōdōn tekhnēs

The Word or Logos is God's Creative. and Regulative Principle.  All of O. E.Payne's PLUCKING passage MARKS the effeminate or perverted.  Rarely performed by Mals.

Plut. Per. 1 You may use your time for MUSIC or LEARNING
Nay, many times, on the contrary, while we delight in the work, we despise the workman, as, for instance, in the case of perfumes and dyes; we take a delight in them, but dyers and perfumers we regard as illiberal and vulgar folk. [5] Therefore it was a fine saying of Antisthenes, when he heard that Ismenias was an excellent piper: ‘But he's a worthless man,’ said he, ‘otherwise he wouldn't be so good a piper.’ And so Philip2 once said to his son, who, as the wine went round, plucked the strings charmingly and skilfully, ‘Art not ashamed to pluck the strings so well?’ It is enough, surely, if a king have leisure to hear others pluck the strings, and he pays great deference to the Muses if he be but a spectator of such contests.

PLUTARCH ALEXANDER
Thus the despot Dionysius,1 as the story goes, while listening to a celebrated harper, engaged to give him a talent.2 Next day, when the man asked for the fulfilment of the promise, Dionysius said, ‘Yesterday I was delighted with your performance, and during the time that you were singing I also delighted you with hopes ! The result is that at that very time you were receiving full pay for the pleasure you gave by having your pleasure too!’ Alexander,3 the tyrant of Pherae (this last should be his only appellation ; he should not be permitted to disgrace the name of Alexander), as he watched a tragic actor, felt himself much moved to pity through enjoyment of the acting. He jumped up, therefore, and left the theatre at a rapid pace

Plut. Per. 1 [2]
Since, then, our souls are by nature possessed of great fondness for learning and fondness for seeing, it is surely reasonable to chide those who abuse this fondness on objects all unworthy either of their eyes or ears, to the neglect of those which are good and serviceable.
Our outward sense, since it apprehends the objects which encounter it by virtue of their mere impact upon it, must the exercise of his mind every man, if he pleases, has the natural power to turn himself away in every case, and to change, without the least difficulty, [3] to that object upon which he himself determines. It is meet, therefore, that he pursue what is best, to the end that he may not merely regard it, but also be edified by regarding it.
In other cases, admiration of the deed is not immediately accompanied by an impulse to do it.
Nay, many times, on the contrary,
while we delight in the work,
       we despise the workman, as, for instance, in the case of perfumes and dyes;
we take a delight in them, but dyers and perfumers we regard as illiberal and vulgar folk.
[5] Therefore it was a fine saying of Antisthenes,
when he heard that Ismenias was an excellent piper: ‘
But he's a worthless man,’ said he, ‘otherwise he wouldn't be so good a piper.’
And so Philip once said to his son, who, as the wine went round,
        plucked
the strings charmingly and skilfully, ‘
Art not ashamed to pluck the strings so well?’
It is enough, surely, if a king have leisure to hear others pluck the strings,
and he pays great deference to the Muses if he be but a spectator of such contests.
Plut. Per. 2 Labour with one's own hands on lowly tasks gives witness,
in the toil thus expended on useless things,

Neither Christian Church members not Churches of Christ are represented by institutions or wannabe institutions trying to speak where the Bible repudiates. For instance all of my retired life has witnessed the word SECTARIAN as a "IMAGE" to lie, cheat and steal congregations. Godly Bible Disciples could never do that.  Scripture specificially marks those who were OF OLD and predestined to reject the LOGOS or Regulative Principle:

The Bad News for the "Progressive" Inclusives:

2Pet. 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people,
even as there shall be false teachers among you,
who privily shall bring in damnable heresies,
even denying the Lord that bought them,
and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Paul outlawed self pleasure: Areskos or Placeo including all performing arts Jesus called hypocrites: speakers for hire (hirelings), singers or instrument players. They are the MARK of people who do not intend to speak "that which is written for our learning" and people who do not intend to obey the Word, Logos or Regulative Principle.

WHAT IS A HERETIC OR SECTARIAN? Doctors of the law, says Jesus "take away the key to knowledge" and "music means to make the lambs dumb before the slaughter." It certainly seems to work among the Latest Spawn of Doctors of the Law who lack reading ability and minimal ethics: selling learning at retail is corrupting the Word because God will not let His Word be sold: the same word defines prostitutes and fish mongers.

Who infiltrated and intends to lie, cheat and steal your property and flock? No one can find anything so vile and blasphemous in the historic church commanded not to engage in "vocal or instrumental rejoicing or self-speak" when the church (ekklesia) assembled (synagogued) to Rest (school), read and rehearse the Word of God. That is the ONE PIECE PATTERN because the Lord's Supper is a teaching activity which SHOULD cause men and women to sit down and be silent.

A SECTARIAN in a remote sense is one who has the power to choose what they will do and with whom they will do and what they will do. Christian liberty gives one the power to be a sectarian.

However, in the Greek language and real examples, a heretic is one WHO CHOOSES to take your property by force.

5.23.15   WHY NOT ONE SHOWN PARTIALITY CAN POSSIBLY BE LOYAL TO THE SCRIPTURES WITHOUT WHICH ONE IS A SCRIBE OR PHARISEE, HYPOCRITE MEANING POPULAR SPEAKING FOR HIRE, SINGERS, INSTRUMENT PLAYERS OR ANY AUDIENCE WHO WOULD NOT FLEE.  Such organizations willing to sow discord to "wi" is the reason the Christian Churches sected out of the Disciples in 1927 to 1971.  Looks like they are hooked again.

Jeff Walling Youth Leadership Initiative The COHORT is God's word as "a way of escape" because Pepperdine bonded with the NACC doesn''t bother to define words.

Jeff Walling Instrumental Music in Worship.  The problem with preachers getting their information from other preachers intent on converting them is that they never get around to reading the story line and defining words. Jesus said that parables had hidden the truth from the Scribes and Pharisees from the foundation of the world. He called them hypocrites (actors) by referring to the Ezekiel version byChrist who named slick speakers, singers and instrument players.

Jeff Walling Winterfest 2013 Denies that Scripture replaces BEING LED BY THE LORD.  The leaders of this effort claim that they expose YOUR youth to lots of musical bands TO TEACH THEM TO LEAVE YOUR MOVEMENT.

JEFF WALLING DENIES THE REGULATIVE PRINCIPLE WHICH IS THE WORD OF GOD OR LOGOS

PAGAN LOGOS: Hermes (new hermeneutic), Mercury or Kairos is the LEADER of those who do not teach that which has been taught.

Hermes (Mercury, Kairos), as in hermeneutic, is the in Homer's Hymn 4 to Hermes

What skill is this? What song for desperate cares? What way of song? For verily here are three things to hand all at once from which to choose, —
mirth, and love, and sweet sleep.
[450] And though I am a follower of the Olympian Muses who love dances and the bright path of song —the full-toned chant and ravishing thrill of flutes —yet I never cared for any of those feats of skill at young men's revying. But now, since you, though little, have such glorious skill, sit down, dear boy, and respect the words of your elders For now you shall have renown among the deathless gods, you and your mother also. This I will declare to you exactly:

The One God the Father has His own Thought, Breath (spirit) and articulated WORD with Him as the meaning of Father, Son and Spirit.  God speaks THROUGH Jesus of Nazareth and Jesus commanded that people teach what HE commanded to be taught. A Christian is a Disciple and the RESOURCE for educating a church is the Prophets and Apostles.  A Disciple of Christ would never tamper with the Word by saying that THEY have the authority to replace SPEAK with entertain. When God pours out His wrath He sends lying wonders or buffoons we love to watch.

See Mike Cope, Jeff Walling's New partner with the NACC  The NACC does not speak for Christian Churches as Jeff Walling does not speak for churches of Christ.  Buying and Selling is the game prophecies.

1 “Ambubaiarum” , "Women who played on the flute."  “[ambubajarum ministeria,”]  It is derived from a Syrian word; for the people of that country usually excelled in this instrument. “Pharmacopolae” is a general name for all who deal in spices, essence, and perfumes.

2 “Mendici, mimae, balatrones” . The priests of Isis and Cybele were beggars by profession, and under the vail of religion were often guilty of the most criminal excesses. Mimae were players of the most debauched and dissolute kind; and balatrones, in general, signifies all scoundrels, buffoons, and parasites, who had their name, according to the old commentator, from Servilius Balatro. “Balatrones hoc genus omne”, for omne hoc balatronum genus, is a remarkable sort of construction.

Rev. 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee:

Even powerful Ares, setting aside the rough spear-point, warms his heart in repose; your shafts charm the minds even of the gods, by virtue of the skill of Leto's son and the deep-bosomed Muses.

But those whom Zeus does not love are stunned with terror when they hear the cry of the Pierian Muses, on earth or on the irresistible sea;

There is NO meter in the Bible: you could not "sing" it tunefully if your life depended on it: that is PREDESTINED.

BUT, JEFF WALLING, THE NACC AND ALL OF THOSE SPREADING HATE SAY THAT GOD APPROVED INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC, DANCING, ETAL.

Godly teachers of the WORD of God know that they will never get rich, famous and receive glory.  It would be impossible for a non-instrumental preacher to seek foundation funding, rally once-christian colleges and DENOMINATIONAL organization to deliberately TRAIN more of the COHORT to tell the Spirit, Jesus and historical scholars that they are just LIARS.

John 7:18 He that speaketh OF himself seeketh his own glory:
but he that seeketh his glory that sent him,
the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

Paul defined the ONLY Christ-ordained way to get the glory for GOD and HIS Word:

Stop the self-pleasure: speaking, singing, acting, DANCING
Then "use one mind and one mouth to SPEAK that which is written for our LEARNING.

Christ in Isaiah 58 outlawed seeking your own pleasure or SPEAKING YOUR OWN WORDS: Jesus said that the sons of the Devil speak ON THEIR OWN.

John 17:14 I have given them THY word; and the world hath hated them,
because they are not OF the world, even as I am not OF the world.
John 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world,
but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
John 17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Jesus seeks only a LITTLE FLOCK of lost spirits living in a hostile word.  Jesus gives THEM the Word of God and He speaks parables to fool the foolish Scribes, Pharisees, Hypocrites, Rhetoricians, Singers, Instrument players. That's why those OF THE WORLD seek those who PREACH LIBERTY marking them as making them SLAVES.

The Word or LOGOS is God's Regulative Principle: it is opposite of the hypocritic arts of Rhetoric, singing, playing instruments, acting or dancing.

Isaiah 8 Christ says of those who do not SPEAK that word THERE IS NO TRUTH IN THEM.

Isaiah 30 Christ says that the sounds of wind, string and percussion instruments are God driving His enemies into HELL.
In Revelation 18 the cunning craftsmen, singers and instrument players are called SORCERERS and the will be CAST ALIVE INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE. This may already be happening because God promises that they will be consumed or burned by the spirit of their own mouth.

At just the right time (c. ad 2000 based on the rise of the Sumerian religious slave masters c. BC 4000) a smal band of men EMERGED bearing all of the marks causing "instrumentalists" and "a cappellas" to flee Babylon marked by the right to BUY AND SELL and be the Receptors of worship only due to God in Christ and the rare suffering servants.

1John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:
because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1John 4:5 They are of the world:
therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
1John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us;
he that is NOT OF  God heareth not us.
Hereby know we the spirit OF truth, and the spirit OF error.

The spirit of Abaddon-Apollon is the Leader of the Muses or female SHEPHERDESSES marking them as not godly for violating the command for all to sit down and hear the Word PREACHED by being READ.

  1. There is not a singular command, example or remote inference or hint that God ever called people out on their REST day for group singing with or without instruments or "machines for doing hard work."
  2. The Bible is filled from the "singing and harp-playing prostitute" in the garden of Eden to the Babylon mother of harlots in Revelation 17 using "lusted after fruits" as singers, speakers or instrument players called sorcerers or MUSES (Locusts) with Abaddon-Apollyon as their "musical worship leader."
  3. If you say that contrary to recorded history before the Disciples in 1878 began steal the church houses of the "Christian Churches" there is authority beyond SPEAKING OF THEMSELVES then Jeremiah 23 Christ marks you as a sorcerer and a blaspmemer.
  1. The command is to "use one mind and one mouth to SPEAK that which is written for our LEARNING (only).
  2. If you say that SPEAK or Lexis the Biblical text which is opposite to ODE REALLY means to SING the Fanny Crosby and make melody UPON a harp.
  3. Then you are blind and deaf and that is what caused Israel to fall into musical idolatry beyond redemption. Proof is Lying Wonders meaning religious OBSERVATIONS with rhetoric, singing, playing instruments, dancing or acting.

If you say that  that God commands or authorizes from SILENCE tuneful melody (melos)
And there is no tuneful melody until the 19th century and Jesus SPOKE what God breathed (Spirit) without metron including musical meter. Then you therefore speak of the world, and the world heareth them

Jesus said that He does not even PRAY for the world (Kosmos or COSMIC WORSHIP) because the LITTLE FLOCK are not OF the WORLD.

Matt. 13:38 The field is the WORLD; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children [Literal Seed] of the wicked one [Like Cain  meaning a musical mark]

10.07.14   Jeff Walling a very theatrical kind of guy Dares to Dance with God.  To bad but that is the LADED BURDEN Jesus died to remove along with the professional BURDEN LADERS. Ancient civil societies never permitted a poet, song writer or actor to be a kerusso (herald preacher) because they couldn't resist opening the vital message from the king to the field commander and rewrite the instructions in his own image. Neither was this hypocritic band of speakers, singers or instrument players allowed to write TRUE history. Jesus said that God HIDES from the wise or sophists: speakers for hire, singers, instrument players, actors or dancers.

Psallo was used for the first time in history in 1878 to claim that God commanded Instrumental music: this claim commanded some to deliberately sow discord in trying to force people to conform.

  1. If you say that not using instruments in the School of the Word from the wilderness onward is just an evil, sectarian, patternist TRADITION imposed by churches of Chrit.
  2. And the Bible rejects any vocal or instrumental excitement in the synagogue--ekklesia and Al Maxey became instrumental sectarians as late as 1878.
  3. Then the Spirit OF Christ in Jeremiah 23 says that you despise the Word and people and that word is BLASPHEMY against the Holy Spirit OF Christ and missed prepositions 101aa
  4. Contrary to "unity in diversity" meaning WE take YOUR property, Paul said that the cunning craftsmen or sophists (speakers, singers, instrument player, actor merchants" are LYING IN WAIT TO DECEIVE.

7.22.14  Why would a SMAL BAND (COHORT) of men work so desperately hard to get their OWN discorded congregations and the Historic Churches of Christ to use all means fair and foul to force, intimidate, blaspheme and lie TO God and ABOUT God to demand that THEY use what Christ called the HYPOCRITIC and SOPHIST'S means where the Jacob-Cursed and God-Abandoned Levites as their pattern were call sorcerers and parasites to make the lambs dumb before the slaughter?  The Second Assault a hundred years against the first Christian Standard boast that "we will take Tennessee for the organ and society party within 5 years."  The 1906 lie is infamy that will live in history since Churches of Christ (the Rock) were commanded not to make such noise when God assembles His people ONLY for conducting the Campbell's School of Christ.

Psallo was used for the first time in history in 1878 to claim that God commanded Instrumental music: this claim commanded some to deliberately sow discord in trying to force people to conform.  Based on the clear definition of Word in the Greek and Latin

JEFF WALLING AND THE TRIBULATION

Jeff Walling: Where the TENSION [DISCORD] level is zooming, as those who would call themselves part of the cutting edge,.
you know there's like lots of people out
in our brotherhood who would like to take a cutting edge to the cutting edge. Do you understand what I'm talkin about here? I mean we've got the most sacred of cows being trodded through butcher shops all over this country in churches of Christ  How do I be cutting edge, and new WAVE avant garde (vanguard), and progressive,

without losing my job? and making everyone else in the congregation really irritated with me...
I have to wonder if
you're at a place in your ministry where you don't have to go to the church of Christ either.

RICK ATCHLEY AND THE DAVID-FAUST TRIBULATION

Rick Atchley used by the NACC and "handled" by David Faust and the "white paper" confessed AFTER "transistioning" or subverting HIS church--after the new building like at Sand Creek, changes his solemn promise but all along:

Well, we discipled the children of those progressive churches

for a whole generation to grow past us Boomers.
They never heard the sermons we heard.
They never heard the rationale for a cappella music.
We took YOUR youth to hear Christian Bands to TEACH THEM TO LEAVE YOUR MOVEMENT.
We took your money, ha, ha, ha. But, we did not teach what we paid you to do. ha, ha, ha.

DWAYNE E. DUNNING AND RAY DOWNEN TRIBULATION

Dwaine E. Dunning Ray Downen:
There are at least three ways to kill a tree.

You can poison it, or burn it. It might not survive if all the limbs were lopped off.
But men usually choose to kill a tree by
cutting down its trunk.
We take an axe or saw to it not far above the roots and "fell" that tree.

God's Axe means: to break asunder [discord] to disrupt, lacerate; by impl. to convulse (with spasms); figurative to give vent to joyful emotions: - break (forth), burst, rend, tear

Likewise a system of doctrine may be destroyed in various ways. It might be poisoned (or sweetened in this case) by injecting a different spirit into those who hold the doctrine.

Or its various contentions may be individually or specifically refuted,
like lopping off a tree's branches one by one.
Robert Ballard and the NACC:  To refuse to PERMIT that which God Himslef has (P93) SAID TO USE. To forbid their use, where God has  SAID TO USE THEM, as in Eph. 5:19 and Col. 3:16 is flagrant sin (Rev 22:18:19)

This defines a TRIBULATION OF HISTORIC PROPORTIONS.
The reason the Lake of Fire is justified is because all or the religious cunning craftsmen or sophists as self-speaking for hire (DEFINES A HIRELING), singers, instrument players and the piping sound of the millstone which marked the role of the GRINDER-PROSTITUTE located by "her" sound.

J. CARROLL STARK GOD DEMANDS INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC" DEBATE TRIBULATION OF 1903.

Stark worship is the emotion of the soul and that it might "produce singing, shouting, praising, leaping, dancing, hand clapping, or thanksgiving and such should not be suppressed by man made rules."

That character Paul calls "the man of sin who opposseth and exalteth himself above all that is called God: The Doom of such is HELL I need no authority for using it; for where there is no law, there is no transgression. [p.15]

Who put the twelfth commandment into God's law, saying, "Thou shalt not have an instrument of music in the congregation of the saints?"  David [Lipscomb], the destructive critic, when, like the "man of sin," he sits in the temple of God, says: "Thou shalt not."  That is the corner stone of his departure--the foundation of his schism.  Their church is built upon it, and a few old fogies have made it a test of fellowship.  God will shake their thunder out of them and put some lightning into them one of these days. [p.28]

The whole thing comes from a devilish, domineering spirit, which, instead of worshiping God, has taken God's seat in judgment to control the praise others might bring  It is well enough to teach them: but "rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and stubborness is as iniquity and idolatry." (1 Slam. 15:23) If taken as he is to the "city of gold," he would surely raise hell in heaven and make all "know and feel what it is to be there."

1 Samuel 15.23  quoniam quasi peccatum ariolandi est repugnare et quasi scelus idolatriae nolle adquiescere pro eo ergo quod abiecisti sermonem Domini abiecit te ne sis rex

Only in judgment does God "sing."  The Word of God here is
Sermo a speaking or talking with any one; talk, conversation, discourse: 2. Ordinary speech, speaking, talking, the language of conversation (opp. contentio): Of prose as opposed to poetry: “comoedia    verba inculcantes B. A language, the speech of a nation verbum   as a translation of logos, See Table of LOGOS: opposite rhetoric, singing, playing, acting

WITCHCRAFT:  See Galatians 5 for the Music as Witchcraft which RECRUCIFIES Jesus.
+ "For rebellion [is as] the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness [is as] iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the WORD of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from [being] king." {1Sm 15:23}

The Word as Dabar or LOGOS is the Regulative principle: it is opposite selling you rhetoric or buffoonery, singing, playing instruments, acting or dancing: if you reject the LOGOS Christ in Isaiah 8 says THERE IS NO LIGHT IN YOU.

WARLICK, WALLING, ATCHLEY, COPE, NACC SAYS "WE DON'T NEED NO WORD."
+ "So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, [even] against the WORD of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking [counsel] of [one that had] a familiar spirit [NEBEL, OLD WINESKIN], to enquire [of it]; ... And enquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse." {1Ch 10:13-14} + "And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger." {2Ch 33:6} + "But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: ... And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries." {Act 8:9-11} + "And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: ... And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew [them] into the marketplace unto the rulers," {Act 16:16-19}
"For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye [yourselves] are wise." {2Co 11:19} + "A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;" {Tts 3:10} + "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction." {2Pe 2:1} See at the end of 2 Peter Chapter 1.
SIMONY IS BUYING OR SELLING CERTIFICATES OF A SPIRITUAL GIFT TO GO OUT AND BE A MAGICIAN, JESTER OR SINGER "TO BRING PEOPLE INTO THE PRESENCE OF GOD."

While Churches of Christ were never part of the Disciples of Christ O.E. Payne first collected the "psallo" proofs from somewhere: He said

"Henceforth we must unite in agreeing that if we forego musical instruments we cannot  conform to the divine injunction to psallein" (Instrumental Music Is Scriptural, p. 172)

-[khiton  David's garment] te hupodunein toisi heimasi kai kothornous hupodeesthai, proeipe d' autoisi -kitharizein te kai psallein kai kapκleuein [prostitutes, petty trade, playing tricks

Of course, psallein is never used in polite society or Scripture: Paul commanded SPEAK that which is written for our learning but ODE and PSALLO are in the heart which in reading 101a we understand to be SILENT as Paul in 1 Corinthians 14 told the "most always females) to be SILENT.
THE AUTHORITY OF THE TRIBULATORS: "Being very talented, he could play on the harp [epsallen] with the bare hand without a plectrum." -The Deiphnosphists, IV. 183-184, Tr. by Gulick Bk. 4, Sec. 183 D.

"Aristoxenus says that the magadis and the PECTIS may be played without a plectrum, by simply plucking [psalmou] with the fingers....
The Deiphnosphists, IV. [3.] And while we were now all amusing ourselves with agreeable trifling, some flute-playing women and musicians, and some Rhodian players on the sambuca came in, naked as I fancied, but some said that they had tunics on. And they having played a prelude, departed; and others came in in succession, each of them bearing two bottles of perfume, bound with a golden thong, and one of the crests was silver and the other gold, each holding a cotyla,
And Seuthes, rising up, drank to Xenophon, and spilt the rest of the contents of the horn at the same time that he did. And after this there came in men who played on horns such as are used for giving orders with, and also on trumpets made of raw bull's-hide, in excellent tune, as if they had been playing on a magadis."
And, indeed, the hydraulic organ does seem to be a kind of hour-glass. It cannot, therefore, be considered a stringed instrument, and one to be played by touching.
At all events, Aristoxenus preferred stringed instruments which are played upon by the touch to wind instruments; saying that wind instruments are very easy; for that many people, without having been taught, can play on the flute and pipe, as for instance, shepherds.
  The Muses' sports amid their wine-glad revels;
He sang to Battalus, an eager drinker
Of unmixed wine, and Cotalus and Pacalus.
Say then to Theon the calamaules,  Farewell, O Theon, tunefullest of men.

Again, Phrynichus says in The Phoenician Women,
'With [1] plucking [psalmoisin] of the
[2] strings [harp]
        they
[3] sing [aeidontes] their lays in answering strains."
He went in and drank, and taking the lyre, sang to us in such a manner that we all marvelled at his skill on the harp, and at the rapidity of his execution, and at the timefulness of his voice ; for he appeared to me to be not at all inferior to that ancient Amodbeus, whom Aristeas, in his History of Harp-players, speaks of as living at Athens, and dwelling near the theatre, and receiving an Attic talent a-day every time he went out singing. [HE WAS A PARASITE]

JESTERS:
2. But as, after the discussion by us of the new topics which arise, our liberal entertainer Laurentius is every day constantly introducing different kinds of music, and also jesters and buffoons, let us have a little talk about them. Although I am aware that Anacharsis the Scythian, when on one occasion jesters were introduced in his company, re-mained without moving a muscle of his countenance; but afterwards, when a monkey was brought in, he burst out laughing, and said, " Now this fellow is laughable by his nature, but man is only so through practice." And Euripides, in his Melanippe in Chains, has said —

But many men, from the wish to raise a laugh, Practise sharp sayings ; but those sorry jesters I hate who let loose their unbridled tongues against the wise and good ; nor do I class them As men at all, but only as jokes and playthings. Meantime they live at ease, and gather up Good store of wealth to keep within their houses. [HE WAS A PARASITE]

-The Deiphnosphists, XIV. 635, Translated by Gulick, Vol. 6, p. 427.

"The psaltery (psalterion, saltere, sauterie, Psalterium, Psalter, salterio) is an ancient instrument seen in many forms. Early versions were simply a wooden board with gut strings stretched between pegs. The strings were plucked with fingers or by plectra (the name might have derived from the Greek psallein meaning plucked with fingers).

Those who HAD deceived the whole world missed the point that ODE (a mark) and PSALLO were to be SILENT.  Psallo means to pluck or smite a bow-string, a harp-string or a hair-string of a young boy being groomed by the NACC'S example of Alexander the Great who died with some kind of terrible disease.   You LIE if you are so hostile that you want to take an AXE to people when Psallo OUTLAWS a guitar pick, a flute, trumpet, piano, organ or any musical instrument. Psallo means PLUCK and has NO musical content.

"The name of psaltery entered Christian literature in the 3rd century B.C. translation of the Old Testament called the Septuagint where, in the Psalms, nebel was translated psalterion. Thus, Nebuchadnezzar's idolatrous ensemble included the Aramic psantria. Notice, also, that the book of Psalms has also become known as the Psalter (or psalterium), from the hymns sung with this harp. Source

Therefore, the Greek translation uses a word which, in their culture, meant a song which could be sung with a psalterium.
părăsītus , i, m., = parasitos, lit. one who eats with another,  “parasitorum in comoediis assentatio,” Cic. Lael. 26, 98: “edaces parasiti,” “
The tutelar deity of parasites was Hercules,

cōmoedĭa , lifted up on a buskin, which he called tragoedia, Plin. Ep. 9, 7, 3.
assentātĭo (ads- ), ōnis, f. assentor. I. A flattering assent, flattery, adulation
Cyrus was told how to "make the captive men helpless" rather than kill them. Heredotus records history:

Grant, then, forgiveness to the Lydians, and to make sure of their never rebelling against thee, or alarming thee more,
send and forbid them to keep any weapons of war,
        command them
to wear tunics under their cloaks,
and to put BUSKINS upon their legs,

and make them bring up their sons to cithern-playing (Kitharizein),
        and
singing (psallein),
and shop-keeping (Hucksterism). [Corrupting the Word]
So wilt thou soon see them become WOMEN instead of men,
and there will be no more fear of their revolting from thee."

Any kind of performing music when Jesus told us to SPEAK that which is written INTENDS to bring glory and more "Authority" to King set over us:

-[4] Ludoisi de sungnτmκn echτn tade autoisi epitaxon, hτs mκte aposteτsi mκte deinoi toi eτsi: apeipe men sphi pempsas hopla arκia mκ ektκsthai, keleue de spheas kithτnas -[khiton  David's garment] te hupodunein toisi heimasi kai kothornous hupodeesthai, proeipe d' autoisi -kitharizein te kai psallein kai kapκleuein [prostitutes, petty trade, playing tricks, corrupting] paideuein tous paidas. kai tacheτs spheas τ basileu gunaikas ant' andrτn opseai gegonotas, hτste ouden deinoi toi esontai mκ aposteτsi."

The word kitharizo means to PLAY THE CITHARA and does not include singing.

-Kitharizτ 1 [kitharis] to play the cithara, phormingi [Apollo, Abaddon, Apollyon] kitharize Il., Hes.; lurκi eraton kitharizτn Hhymn. (so that there can have been no great difference between the kithara, lura, and phorminx ); kitharizein ouk epistatai, of an uneducated person,

-Kithar-isis , eτs, hκ, playing on the cithara, Pl.Prt.325e; k. psilκ, i.e. without the voice, Id.Lg.669e, cf. Pae.Delph.15; aulκsis kai k. Phld.Mus.p.23 K.

Isn't it an insult to the Spirit of Christ and Paul to say that they were not smart enough to use one of the single words or compound word even simple would understand?

The PSALLO word used to GRASP POWER is an Abaddon word from plucking the Bow String to kill you or plucking the Lyre to mollest you.

Nonn.D.1.15
[11] Bring me the fennel, rattle the cymbals, ye Muses! put in my hand the wand of Dionysos whom I sing: but bring me a partner for your dance in the neighbouring island of Paros, Proteus of many turns, that he may appear in all his diversity of shapes, since I twang my harp to a diversity of songs.
For if, as a serpent, he should glide along his winding trail,
I will sing my god’s achievement, how with ivy-wreathed wand
he destroyed the horrid hosts of Giants serpent-haired.

Was the Spirit of Christ too stupid to command that we Twang (psallo) a Harp and Sing "that which is written for our learning?"

Nonn 1.[439] “Let’s have a friendly match, if you like. Come on, you make music and sound your reedy tune, I will crash my thundery tune. You puff our your cheek all swollen with wind, and blow with your lips, but Boreas is my blower, and my thunderbolts boom when his breath flogs them. Drover, I will pay you for your pipes: for when I shall hold the sceptre instead of Zeus, and drive the heavenly throne, you shall come with me; leave the earth and I will bring you to heaven pipes and all, with your flock too if you like, you shall not be parted from your herd.

Nonn 1.[326f] The professional cattle-lifter may think he is catching a bull and steal his own father! He may give his harp once again to your son Phoibos, [Apollo, Abaddon, Apollyon] as price for the ravisher ravished. But what can I do? If only Argos were still alive, shining all over with sleepless eyes, that he might be Hera’s drover, and drag Zeus to some inaccessible pasture, and prod his flanks with a crook!’”
486] “You liked the little tune of my pipes, when you heard it; tell me, what would you do when I strike [psallo] out a hymn of victory on the harp of seven strings, to honour your throne? Indeed, I matched myself against Phoibos with his heavenly quill, and beat him with my own harp

Croesus thought the Lydians would even so be better off than if they were sold for slaves, and therefore gave the above advice to Cyrus, knowing that, unless he brought forward some notable suggestion, he would not be able to persuade him to alter his mind. He was likewise afraid lest, after escaping the danger which now pressed, the Lydians at some future time might revolt from the Persians and so bring themselves to ruin.

12.31.13 Jesus warned that Doctors of the Law take away the Key to knowledge.  They are Scribes and Pharisees whom Jesus called hypocrites.  In the Ezekiel 33 version by the Spirit OF Christ He names self-speakers for hire, singers and instrument players.  It is true that Jesus never said "thou shalt not be a hypocrite" but it gets uglier: if you say that the Spirit allowed or commanded you to impose instruments and it turns out that Christ radically outlawed any vocal or instrumental noise when He visits on the REST DAY, then Christ in Jeremiah 23 says that you BLASPHEME or despise the Word of God.

See David Young Minister North Boulevard Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, Tennessee

The NACC is a denominational organization or human institution: most independent Christian Churches may not know that their support funds men who deliberately sow "instrumental" discord and according to Jeff Walling intends to OFFEND. Instrumental noise to frazzle nerves and perform witchcraft or sorcery was CONTEMPORARY at the Babylon Ziggurats or towers of Babel (as was Jerusalem."  To call direct Biblical commands "traditional" when they don't read the text would be defined by Christ as blaspheming the Holy Spirit OF Christ who repudiated instrumental madness in all of the prophets.  Revised 5.25.13

The congregation of the people was defined in Exodus 18 for groups as small as then families led by a mercinary teacher and guide.  After the fall into the musical idolatry of the always-pagan trinity (Osiris, Isis, Horus: always father, mother (spirit) and infant son), the tribe of Levi was abandoned to the worship of the starry host: the godly people attended Qahal, synagogue, ekklesia or Church of Christ (the Rock etc) in the wilderness.  The Text, the definition of the assembly Edersheim and Calvin affirm that these assemblies were called on the REST day by a trumpet (church bell) but excluded vocal or instrumental rejoicing or self-speak.

Numbers 10:7 But when the congregation is to be gathered together,  [h6950 Qahal is still used for the synagogue]
ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.

H7321 rϋaroo-ah' A primitive root; to mar (especially by breaking); figuratively to split the ears (with sound), that is, shout (for alarm or joy):—blow an alarm, cry (alarm, aloud, out), destroy, make a joyful noise, smart, shout (for joy), sound an alarm, triumph
Then and now the ONLY reason for calling the assembly was/is to hear the Word (only) PREACHED by being READ for comfort and doctrine.  The Lucifer-Principal (the Halal, Chalal) intends to replace and silence and therefore ALARM or TRIUMPH OVER the Words of Christ. There is nothing in the Greek, Hebrew or Latin which PERMITS any speaker, singer or instrument player to perform or ADD by pretending to be a mediator in song and sermon.  God ordained TWO SILVER TRUMPETS to send signals but not when HE sent His Word through Moses, Aaron and the small group leaders:

Even Jesus understood that!

        and, as his custom was,
he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day,
and stood up for to read.
And He had the uncommon decency:
Luke 4:20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down.

Psalms 41 is a PROMISED that "Judas" would not triumph over Messiah. The Judas bag was ALWAYS attached to a flute case in Greek Vases and descriptions: it was for carrying the Mouth Pieces of Wind Instruments.  Jesus halted the final effort of Judas by hand grinding the SOP: This was a SIGNAL and Satan entered into Judas and he excluded himself from the kingdom.  The word SOP and the word PSALLO have the same root meaning.  The Dead Sea Copy of the Psalms reads exactly as we will note:

DSS: "After them the chiefs of the Levites serve continually, twelve in all, one to a tribe. The chiefs of their courses shall serve each man in his office. The chiefs of the tribes and fathers of the congregation shall support them, taking their stand continually at the gates of the sanctuary

The enemy for the Church of Christ (the Rock) in the wilderness would perform vocal or instrumental rejoicing including loud self -- speaking: sermons were outlawed for the synagogue. Jesus called the Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites and Christ in Ezekiel 33 named entertainment: speakers, singers or instrument players. That is why the doctors of the law "took away the key to knowledge." The LOGOS speak words are the opposite of rhetoric, singing, playing instruments or drama. The Enemy in Latin is:

The enemy HATES and another definition of the TRIUMPH OVER attempts is:

God had not commanded the temple: this was a ziggurat after God turned them over to worship the starry host because of instrumental idolatry at Mount Sinai. When the Jacob-Cursed and God-Abandoned made a great NOISE God SHUT DOWN the temple so that the Jews were certain that they had captured Him in a house built by human hands. THEY said that no one could contact God but God answered the prayers from OUTSIDE the "church house" directly from HEAVEN.

The Self-pleasure in Romans 15 is outlawed: "creating mental excitement" using any of the performing or hypocritic arts. This is the "heresy" concept which means that the object is to bewitch people so that the enemy can "take away their property."

The instrumental worship of the Egyptian trinity at Mount Sinai was a fall back into the worship of the Astrial Gods: that is why Stephen said that God abandoned them to worship the starry host.  In one way or another the Apollo or Abaddon or Apollyon of Revelation was a key "god' worshipped in the wilderness and at Jerusalem which was an old Jebusite high place devoted to Sabazianism. Therefore, the attempt to TRIUMPH OVER or silence the voice of Jesus is defined as:

In Revelation 17 the Babylonian mother of harlots in Revelation 18 uses the "lusted after fruits." These are the same FRUITS Amos warned about in Amos 8 where God turned the music IN the temple into howling because the leaders had TAKEN AWAY the water and food of the Word.  The speakers, singers, instrument players and craftsmen including ALL performing religious teknokrats HAD deceived the whole world once and John says that they along with the dogs (Catamites) will be cast alive into the lake of fire.  Males who sang and played are said to be "drunk, perverted or just having fun-mocking."  Ovid notes:

NACC 2013 Victorius: Willing to sow discord after more than a hundred years based on the word PSALLO which is really the MARK left by Paul for those who cannot read the phrase "Making Melody IN the Heart."

See the two major PSALLO words which are never DEFINED. Instead, I will show how the words are used having several meanings.  If we twang a bowstring to send forth a singing arrow into a literal heart then PSALLO would obligate the instrumentalists because there is very little about twanging a HARP string and then the examples are ugly or even forbidden.

A. Ralph Johnson: INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC, SACRED OR SINFUL

Lynn Anderson The Beginning of Musical Idolatry

Danny Corbitt and Matt Dabbs Psallo

John T. Willis 2. "Sing" is vocal; "make melody" is instrumental. Psalms 33:2-3; 144:9; 149:1, 3 make this crystal clear. Amos 5:23 further verifies this reality.  People forget that God turned Israel over to worship the starry host because of musical idolatry at Mount Sinai. The Levites were under the KING and the COMMANDERS of the army: they made war and not worship. We will examine these passages in context.

In this way music became an important factor in divination. In the mysteries of the Magna Mater [Revelation 17] this relationship between music and divination is particularly clear. Through the din of tambourines, cymbals and flutes.

THE MOTIVE STATED BY THE NACC

There remain areas in which Churches of Christ are stronger than Christian Churches–and these are observable at our gatherings. This is just one more reason greater unity would be a blessing. The strength found in partnership is really powerful. Strength in isolation isn't very strong.

An assembly of Christ is NEVER larger than the local group meeting to Rest, Read and Rehearse the Word says Christ for the Synagogue or church in the wilderness.

The NACC (C. 1927-1971) was founded to ESCAPE any kind of denominational structure: from my mail bag lots of preachers resent the new organization's effort to build by acciquisition.  A Church of Christ which began as the Qahal, synagogue or Ekklesia began in purpose in Exodus when the instructions to Moses was to subdivide the tribes down to as small as 10 families. The godly leader not greedy of gain had the purpose of teaching The Book of The Covenant of Grace.  Israel fell from grace doing musical idolatry of the always-pagan triad at Mount Sinai. God turned them over to worship the starry host (missed Acts 7, huh?) and sentenced them back to belond Babylon. The Book of The Law was to regulate the Civil state but David instituted "a new style of instrumental praise" as he carried out the mandate to Worship The Starry host as the Jewish Encyclopedia and most scholarship understands.

After they fell into INSTRUMENTAL IDOLATRY The Spirit OF Christ (the Rock) defined the Qahal, Synagogue, Ekklesia or Church of Christ in the Wilderness.  Tis was to QUARANTINE the godly people from the Sun worship on the superstitious seventh day including the national sacrificial system in Jerusalem.  The BEASTS from Genesis are the mass multitudes which hang around all pagan worship centers as the site of musical performances and holy sex with a temple "minister" or "mistress." h2416 Chay company, congregation, merry multitude, running springing troup.

Unity according to Jesus in John 17 can only happen on the basis of the Word. God the Father breathed (spirit) and the Son articulated that breath into Words: that is why Jesus was made both Lord and Christ and Word. Neither the Spirit (breath) or the Son (Word) speaks on their own. Therefore the unity.

The same Unity commands that the elders "teach that which has been taught" and the one another congregation STOPS the sel-pleasure (all of the hypocritic arts and crafts) and using ONE mind and ONE mouth speaking "that which is written for our LEARNING."  The unique pattern is repeated over and over AFTER the writers have excluded all of the hypocritic arts and crafts.  See Ephesians 4 where the DIVERSITY is absolutely REMOVED before The School of the Word is possible.

But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Tim 3:14-17

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. Col 3:16

Ekklesia or Synagogue (Paul's word) is restricted as the only way to glorify or praise. Those who obey the DIRECT commandment, approved examples and historic practice will be despised and rejected of men: musicians and buffoons or Jesters have historically DISPELLED wrath by being comedians.

John 17:6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world:
        thine they were, and thou gavest them me;
and they have kept thy word.
John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee.
Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me,
that they may be one, as we are.
John 17:12 While I was with them in the world,
I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept,
         and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition;
that the scripture might be fulfilled.
John 17:13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world,
that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
John 17:14 I have given them thy word;
and the world hath hated them,
because they are not of the world,
even as I am not of the world.
John 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world,
but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

The NACC is built upon the foundation of the word PSALLO invented in 1878 to justify the use of instrumental music when the Spirit clearly says to SPEAK the Biblical Psalms, hymns or spiritual songs. In Romans 15 the command is to "use one mind and one mouth to speak that which is written for our learning." Paul excludes self-pleasure which in Greek and Latin is dedicated to mean STOP the preaching, singing, playing, acting or ANYTHING which does not edify or EDUCATE with that which Jesus commanded to be taught and observed.

Well, we discipled the children of those progressive churches
for a whole generation to grow past us Boomers.
They never heard the sermons we heard.
They never heard the rationale for a cappella music.

We sent them to youth rallies and Church of Christ events
with some of the finest Christian bands in the world.

We discipled our children to leave our Movement!

THE USE OF THE "PSALLO" WORD (c. 1878) MAY BE BLASPHEMY: CLAIMING THAT THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST IN PAUL WAS IGNORANT OF THE WAY TO INCLUDED A MUSICAL MACHINE FOR DING HARD WORK.

The PSALLO word has NO musical content: it means to pluck or smite a string, rope or hair with your fingers and NEVER with a plectrum or guitar pick. The word can never mean both SMITE and A HARP.  It is derived from Apollo (Abaddon, Apollyon) and primarily means to smite a bot string to send forth an arrow into a LITERAL heart.  Since Apollo is also the father of homosexual worship (the worship-sex connection is absolute) sending forth love arrows with his lyre.

Because the Holy Spirit of Christ repudiates all of the Levites performing as SOOTHSAYERS with instruments, IF He wanted to even think of instruments in "the School of Christ" he and Paul would have known that you need a COMPOUND word for each style and instrument.  For instance (See Jeff Walling Instruments for more

Isn't the use of just Psalloing IN the heart to deliberately sow massive discord and offend masses of godly people to make Paul lie the meaning of Blaspheming the Holy Spirit of Christ by saying He commanded something He DID NOT?

The NACC has picked off a few weak sisters who come to believe that they PERSONALLY reached the decision to use all of those RACA words on people who refuse to BEGIN doing something they have never done and RESIST the body snatches from the Qahal, Synagogue, Ekklesia or Church of Christ (the Rock) in the wilderness.

THE UNIVERSAL PERSONA FROM BABYLONIAN CLAY TABLETS ONWARD: This will stop MOST people from being subverted to the New Style Music and Drama which is the definition of BEAST.  Christian Churches have also been invaded by the Soul Snatchers.

Rick Atchley being handled by  David Faust uses 2 Chronicles 29 as the ONLY real proof-text that God COMMANDED instrumental praise.  He forgot that God had abandoned the Civil-Military-Clergy complex to worship the starry host and be carried "beyond Babylon" because of musical idolatry at Mount Sinai. Therefore, the "spirit" he and others hear as the Lord's Leading is abandoning him/them to Babylonianism.  In Revelation 17 The end-time Babylon Mother of Harlots uses "lusted after fruits" (same as in Amos) as speakers, singers and instrument players. John calls the sorcerers and says that they will (are) cast alive into the lake of fire. Perhaps being consumed by the spirit (breath) of their own lips.
David Faust as agent infiltrated into the once-Christian colleges and HANDLER of Rick Atchley. Rich  heard "a" spirit tell him he had procrasted too long (about 12 years) listening to Faust's spirit

I . In the Old Testament the Lord didn't merely "permit" the use of musical instruments as aids to worship.
                He commanded their use.

2. In the old Testament the Lord didn't merely "permit' the use of musical instruments as aids to worship.
                He blessed their use.
Worship means to fall on your face in reverence and godly fear: playing instruments was called exorcism and only the small audience worshipped on their face.

Anyone who believes that missed Exodus 32 and most of the Bible. God ABANDONED Israel to a Like-The-Nations or Gentile (Canaanite, Egyptian, Babylon) Temple State. This was the King's Capital and NOT a worship center. God HID the horrors of the sacrificial system behind closed gates. When Ahaz [2 Chronicles 28)began to reign he took the sacrifices OUTSIDE the gates and God as promied brought a plague on the king, kingdom, temple and priests. Ahaz restored burning infants to Molech.

When the tables had been removed and the guests had poured a libation and sung a hymn, there entered a man from Syracuse, to give them an evening's merriment. He had with him a fine flute-girl, a dancing-girl--one of those skilled in acrobatic tricks,--and a very handsome boy, who was expert at playing the cither and at dancing; the Syracusan made money by exhibiting their performances as a spectacle. [2] They now played for the assemblage, the flute-girl on the flute, the boy on the cither; and it was agreed that both furnished capital amusement.

When Hezekiah began to reign HE PROPOSED a Plague Stopping exorcism to toss out the instruments of Assytian worship proves that God did not commande the Jacob-cursed, God-abanded Levites as the Musical Worship Team. They were to stand in ranks and EXECUTE any of the godly tribes who came NEAR or IN any of the not-commanded temples and sacrificial system.

As soon as Hezekiah died the nation returned to instrumental music as they stopped animal sacrifices and restored burning infants to Molech.  Christ in Isaiah 33 connects God REPAYING the instrumental practices by Driving His enemies into "hell" with the same sounds of wind, string and percussion instruments.
Israel fell from Grace because of musical idolatry.  God assigned the Jacob-cursed and God-abandoned Levites to perform NATIONAL animal sacrifices which Christ said God did not command.  He Quarantined those not of the Civil-Military-Clergy to the synagogue. This protected them from the musical idolatry at the temple which was a ziggurat.  They READ and DISCUSSED the Word and OUTLAWED "vocal or instrumental rejoicing" or any  elevated form of speech.  After all, Jesus called the Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites. In the Ezekiel 33 version Christ named self-speakers (entertainers), singers and instrument players. Christ used this as a MARK of those who refused to obey the Word of God.

Plutarch, Marcus Antonius: Thus, all their forces being joined together, they hoised 5 sail towards the ile 6 of Samos. and there gave themselves to feasts and solace. For as all the kings, princes, and commonalties, people, and cities, from Syria unto the marrishes Maeotides, and from the Armenians to the Illyrians, were sent unto, to send and bring all munition and warlike preparation they could:
even so all players, minstrels, tumblers, fools, and jesters, were commanded to assemble in the ile of Samos. So that, where in manner all the world in every place was full of lamentations, sighs, and tears, only in this ile of Samos there was nothing for many days' space but singing and piping, and all the theatre full of these common players, minstrels, and singing -men. Besides all this, every city sent an ox thither to sacrifice, and kings did strive one with another who should make the noblest feasts, and give the richest gifts. So that [p. 204] every man said, "What can they do more for joy of victory, if they win the battle, when they make already such sumptuous feasts at the beginning of the war ?"

Antonius carrieth Cleopatra with him to the wars against Octavius Caesar: and kept great feasting at the isle of Samos together.

The NACC (does not speak for the Independent Christian churches) pretends that the band of brothers they planned to subvert reached the decision all by themselves. The "unity" gatherings tried that ploy for 25 years and gave up. This is sold as ANTI-instrumental churches of Christ beginning to see the light.

In a video clip Jeff Walling is stroked by the NACC for transitioning from TRADITIONAL to CONTEMPORARY worship. "Tradition" or "heritage" is a RACA word and of course recorded history knows that it is a lie trying to exercise psychological violence.  No one in recorded history SANG as a act in that CANTILLATION style until after Constantine and that split the east from the western churches. The BIBLICAL tradition Timothy was commanded to observe could never miss these facts:
  1. The direct command is to "use one mind and one mouth to SPEAK that which is written for out learning" Paul defined as Scripture.  This began with The Church in the Wilderness and never changed for the godly Jews.
  2. There is no metrical "that which is written" for which there is a DIRECT COMMAND: history reports that singing as an ACT originated about the year 373 and this was reciting Bible stories. Even then it split the east from the western churches.
  3. There was nothing "singable" and nothing sung in simple melody in a tuneful sense until after the Reformation and that was rewritten psalms sung in unison.
  4. The DISCIPLE of Christ unearthed the PSALLO word to try to attract Churche of Christ in the year 1878. Of course, their scholars proved that there is NO musical content in the word PSALLO: it means to pluck or smite something with your fingers and NEVER with a plectrum. Psallo can never be applied to an instrument without strings.
  5. Because instruments were IMPOSED into peaceable churches and was not required to operate what Christ and the Campbells called A School of Christ, that is THE definition of heresy or sectarianism.
  6. Paul outlaws SELF-pleasure as the absolute requirement to enable the direct command to "use one mind and one mouth to speak that which is written for our learning" (Romans 15)
  7. Both in Latin and Greek Areskos or Placeo speaks of self-pleasure and both point to the use of histrionics to lift up or frazzle the nerves to enable the heretic to "take your property for his own use."
Jeff Walling and those intentionally "infiltrating and diverting" property for their own use use as FOUNDATION the Jacob-cursed and God-abandoned Levites.
  1. They claim that the Levites were God's command for a Musical Worship Team.
  2. God commanded the Levites to "stand in ranks" and execute any of the godly person who came near any holy thing or into any holy place.
The Church of Christ continued the Synagogue which by law and common decency never had any instrumental noise when the elders of small groups were commanded to READ and understand the COVENANT which the Jews lost BECAUSE of musical idolatry at Mount Sinai. Moses Lard on Music noted

Hence the obscurity of the Scriptures on certain subjects to the modern reader. But these allusions can be verified and the obscurities cleared up by reference to external history, and this Jewish history.

Such a reference is legitimate and necessary, because our religion originated among the Jews. The Lord and his apostles were Jews, educated under Jewish notions and customs. The converts for eight years were Jews; the majority in every church were Jews. The leading men and officers of the church were Jews, so that we need not be surprised to find that the Christian church was modeled after the Jewish synagogue.

It was in the synagogues of the Jews that Christ and his apostles first preached the gospel; it was here they found hearers, and here where Christianity first got a foothold. For these reasons it is necessary and proper to have recourse to Jewish history in certain cases, in order to verify allusions in the Scriptures and clear up obscurities.

Jeff Walling is asked "what does it take to make this change."  Jeff notes that after 15 syears the "leaders" reached this discision to change Syle and Purpose with lots of difficulty "but do you think I am going to tell these people" meaning HOW we subverted the church.

It takes almost a century of so-called "unity" meetings as a ploy but listing all of the "instrument" passages--ignoring the context--proving that we can have unity if YOU affirm that we were correct in imposing instruments in the Disciples.

What does it take to make this change? A history of trying to impose instruments and an effort OF BIBLICAL PROPORTION to seduce non-students like Jeff Walling.

The other agent of the NACC, Rick Atchley handled by David Faust, says "we took your youth to festivals and exposed them to lots of musical bands: "We taught your youth to LEAVE YOUR MOVEMENT.

In asking HOW one leads a traditional church through major change into CONTEMPORANEOUS "worship" Jeff responded bh using technology to reach world we are living in, different, open

In the first statement, to call remaining faithful to direct commands from the Church of Christ (the Rock) in the wilderness onwards just "your traditions" or "your heritage" is an evil lie.

It was after the fall from The Book of The Covenant of Grace because of Instrumental noise at Mount Sinai that Moses wrote the story of creation. Because God sentenced the Israelites to be return to "beyond Babylon" Moses prepared for their WITHOUT REDEMPTION exile by telling the record on Babylonian tablet one to two thousand years old.

Jeff Walling missed:
Genesis 4:21 And his brother’s name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.

Jubal HANDLED musical instruments and used them to STEAL other people's animals and sell them back.

Jeff Walling missed:
Isaiah 23:15 And it shall come to pass in that day,
that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king:
after the end of seventy years shall Tyre sing as an harlot.

The song of the harlot reads:

Take sūmo

  1. If the Spirit OF Christ along with recorded history connects musical instruments used by prostitutes to seduce customers.
  2. And Jeff Walling says he covered the WHOLE Old Testament
  3. And proved that they should impose instruments.
  4. Then Christ in Jeremiah 23 says that this is blaspheming the Holy Spirit of Christ
The Spirit OF Christ identified the king of Tyre (Melkart] as Lucifer: in Revelation 17 she is the Babylon mother of harlots who uses speakers, singers and instrument players.  John calls them SORCERERS who HAD once deceived the whole world. Yes, there are very old spirits unleashed by Apollo where the LOCUSTS were Abaddon's musical worship team: dirty adulteresses.

Jeff Walling missed:

Musical worship teams (a blasphemy) claim that they can lead you into the presence of God.
Jeff Walling didn't speak for Christ:

Isaiah 23:15 And it shall come to pass in that day,
that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king:
after the end of seventy years shall Tyre sing as an harlot.
Isaiah 23:16 Take an [1] harp, go about the city,

Isaiah 23:17 And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years,

Christ identified Babylon as LUCIFER in the garden of Eden.

Ezekiel 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God;
every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond,
the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold:
the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes
was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
fŏrāmen , ĭnis, n. id., I. an opening or aperture produced by boring, a hole. “tibia tenuis simplexque foramine pauco,”
Ezekiel 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so:
hou wast upon the holy mountain of God; t
hou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
Ezekiel 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Ezekiel 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence,
and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God:
and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Cast as profane is the "play the flute, steal other's property, pollute or prostitute.
The halal praise word means "to make self file" and the root of the LUCIFER word.

Did Jeff Walling or anyone DARE go to the prophets? The Church is built upon (educated by) the Prophets and Apostles Christ being the Author and Finisher.

Isaiah 30 The Spirit OF Christ warned about the MUSIC and being cast into HELL connection

And his breath [SPIRIT], as rushing water in a valley, reach reach as far as the neck, and be divided, to confound the nations for their vain error; error also shall pursue them and overtake them. Isaiah 30:28 LXX

Must ye always rejoice, and go into my holy places continually, as they that keep a feast? and must ye go with a pipe, as those that rejoice into the mountain of the Lord, to the God of Israel Isaiah 30:29 LXX

and the Lord shall make his glorious voice to be heard and the wrath of his arm, to make a display with wrath and anger and devouring flame: he shall lighten terribly, and his wrath shall be as water and violent hail. Isaiah 30:30 LXX

For by the voice of the Lord the Assyrians shall be overcome, even by the stroke where with he shall smite them. Isaiah 30:31 LXX

For thou shalt be required before thy time: has it been prepared for thee also to reign? nay, God has prepared for thee a deep trench, wood piled fire and much wood: the wrath of the Lord shall be as a trench kindled with sulphur. Isaiah 30:33 LXX

"We may understand a thing as spoken generally, even when it requires a certain special interpretation to be given to it. For some things spoken with a special reference contain in them general truth.

When God admonishes the Isrealites of their duty, or sharply reproves them,
        He has surely a reference
to all men;

when He threatens destruction to Egypt and Ethiopia,

He surely pre-condemns every sinning nation, whatever.

If, reasoning from species to genus, every nation that sins against them is an Egypt and Ethiopia; so also, reasoning from genus to species, with reference to the origin of shows, every show is an assembly of the wicked.

And on and on and on to Revelation 17 where John warned about the RESTORED Babylon mother of harlots. She uses lusted after fruits (same as in Amos)  as speakers, singers and instrument players.  John calls them SORCERERS and says that they will be cast alive into the lake of fire along with the "dogs" and liars.

The NACC has trained a few people to
IGNORE all recorded evidence and call the Spirit of Christ a liar.

And YET, Jeff Walling said that H
e
Taught entire old testament in one week.  No doubt he used the White Paper supplied by the NACC which was used in all CHANGES including an agent such as David Faust to hold hands.

Lynn Anderson has collected the proof-texts used by the NACC. Unfortunately men like Jeff Walling never read about God turning them over to worship the starry host BECAUSE of musical idolatry.

  4. Why did Jeff Walling not warn theam that musical idolatry was WITHOUT REDEMPTION?

The Egyptian Opis (Apis) and others which Israel worshipped at Mount Sinal were worshipped throughout the area. "In preference to all other hymns these choirs generally sang the so-called epiphany hymns, which were intended to invite the gods to appear. Plutarch wrote:
Why do the women of Elis call upon God in song to approach them with the bull's foot? Their song is the following:
Come, Dionysus, Hero,
into the holy temple of Elis,
together with the Graces
come violently into the temple with the bull's foot!
Then they sang twice at the end: "Sacred Bull!" (Johannes Quasten, Music & Worship in Pagan and Christian Antiquity, p. 76)
"For nonliterate peoples, music often serves purposes other than entertainment or aesthetic enjoyment. Certain wind instrumentare closely associated with the supernatural, and their sounds connote powerful magic. Australian Aborigines, for instance, identify the sound of a bull-roarer with thevoices of supernatural beings; for the Plains Indians, the same sound signifies an awesome natural phenomenon, such as thunder. Wind instruments are often among a group's most important ritual objects, and in some cultures they are specially venerated. The Kamairua Indians of the Amazon rain forest keep their giant flutes (three to four feet long), wherein spirits are believed to dwell, in a special shrine where they are worshiped. The flutes and drums of New Guinea are similarly housed and worshiped.
"Wind instruments in primitive cultures also serve nonreligious functions. In New Guinea, bamboo trumpets were once played
to frighten an enemyduring battle and
to
alert a village that the victorious warriors were coming home with the corpses of the foes.
"Conch-shell trumpets are used for signaling in the Pacific coastal regions of Columbia and in the Ecuadoran highlands.
Trumpets also may be associated with the office of king or chief, as in West Africa,
where their use is
strictly controlled by tribal law. "wind instrument" Encyclopζdia Britannica Online.

DID JEFF WALLING TELL THOSE HE IS WAGED TO TEACH ABOUT RISING UP TO PLAY AT MOUNT SINAI WAS WITHOUT REDEMPTION?

NO PREACHER knows how to look back to Mount Sinai in Exodus 32.

Exod 32:5 And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said,  To morrow is a feast to the Lord.

Exod 32:6 And they rose up early on the morrow,
  and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings;

rose up to play

Did in one sermon Jeff Walling tell people that God actually commanded the musical idolatry.

> For I spake NOT unto your fathers, nor commanded them
in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt,
concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices: Jeremiah 7:22

> But this thing commanded I them, saying,
Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people:
and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you,
that it may be well unto you. Jeremiah 7:23

> But they HEARKENED NOT, nor inclined their ear,
but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart,
and went backward, and not forward. Jeremiah 7:24
Jeff said that despite the difficulty but we MUST change: if we do not CHANGE we quit living.

If Jeff and the NACC understood that Ekklesia-Synagogue is A School (only) of Christ (only) and is built upon or EDUCATED by the Prophets and apostles.  Christ in the prophets calls all of the Civil-Military-Clergy complex in Jerusalem called Sodom and the Mother of Harlots Robbers and Parasites.

Christ outlawed vocal or instrumental rejoicing and the buffoonery form of speaking.
Jesus did not CHANGE that Direct Commandment and neither did anyone try to justify a change before the Disciples in 1878.
Malachi 3:6 “For I, Yahweh, don’t change; therefore you, sons of Jacob, are not consumed.
Malachi 3:7 From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from my ordinances, and have not kept them.
Return to me, and I will return to you,” says Yahweh of Hosts.
“But you say, ‘How shall we return
Jeff said that it was not too much about the INSTRUMENT but what you are about: you teach the SAME gospel.Phortikos hapanta mimoumenē tekhnē phortikē art that imitates with a view to any and every man is vulgar, of an inflated rhetorical style, to discourse more like a clown than one of liberal education 2. philosopher, i. e. one who speculates on truth and reality,  -ōtatē leitourgia” most onerous, ; Epainos praise singing  mim-eomai

Jeff Walling says: If Jesus had been around He would be using all of the NEW TECHNOLOGY implying that IF Jesus knew what Jeff Walling and the NACC knows HE would have approved of what they call "instrumental music in worship."

So, Jesus was just STUPID when He cast out like dung the musical minstrels and consigned to the marketplace the pipers, singers and dancers? Because the Ekklesia of Christ commands PREACHING the Word (only) by READING the Word it has no statutes of limitation. The NACC and Jeff Walling are not promoting a CLERGYLESS "one another teaching school" what would the do for a living. All religious operatives are called parasites.

Jesus now as The Holy Spirit Comforter is STILL the king of His Kingdom and High Priest over His temple and the ONLY authorized teacher when the "elders teach that which has been taught" and reprove or CAST OUT those who oppose it.

Because the Qahal, Synagogue, Ekklesia or Church of Christ in the wilderness has NEVER changed from being A School of Christ (only) there is no need to CHANGE.

GOD RESERVES THE RIGHT TO NOT BE CHANGED BY NACC AND JEFF WALLING ETAL.

The scourer: The "fullo" was a washer and cleaner of linen and woollen clothing with fuller's earth. As woollen dresses were chiefly worn by the Romans, they would, by reason of the perspiration produced by so hot a climate, require frequent purification. As the ancients, probably, were not acquainted with the use of ordinary washing soap, various alkalis were used in its place for the purpose of cleansing garments. It is not known whether the fuller's earth of the Romans resembled that used at the present day.
