Leonard Allen POURED OUT: The Spirit of God Empowering the Mission of God

John Mark Hicks Affirms Leonard Allen: "The very truth about Christ--that he is God in the Flesh, Son Saviour, and Messiah--becomes INTELLIGIBLE through the deep work of the Spirit.

ANTICHRIST is denying that Jesus CAME IN THE FLESH.

John Mark Hicks will not let any SCRIPTURE or other proofs:  I understand "Just following orders."  H. Leo boles INVENTED the John Mark Hicks DOGMA that the ONE GOD really consist of three PERSONS each with their own "center of consciousness" (spirits) ranked 1, 2, 3.

Jesus called the Jews Blasphemers who claimed that He made Himself God when Jesus always said that He was the SON of God.  Jesus was always a MAN in the flesh and not made Lord nor Christ until 30 years Later.  Jesus SPOKE what God put into His MOUTH without being so inept that He needed A Holy Spirit God member to enable him.

What you will never hear from doctors of the Law ordained, says Jesus, to take away the key to knowledge:

Blasphemy Against the Holy Spirit--the Word of God, Logos, Regulative Principle
John writes that Antichrist denies the one god the FATHER and one SON Jesus Christ

Blasphemy: Claiming the Baptism of The Holy Spirit. North Boulevard Church of Christ East and West.
The Baptism (overwhelming) of HOLY SPIRIT (No 'the') was promised only to the Apostles in the upper room.  The WIND was the Returned Jesus as Holy Spirit breathing which always produces words: WORD or Logos, the Regulative Principle which outlaws any role other than PREACHING the word by READING the Word in the ONCE A WEEK Day of REST which defines SCHOOL as the way to refresh the HUMAN spirit.

 The Baptism of Fire is reserved for the Viper Race (serpents) including Scribes and Pharisees: Speaking your own Words, singing, playing instruments, drama or anything beyond REST which means A School (only) of Christ (only).

The Abomination of Desolation: first defined as the instrumental-trinitarian worship at Mount Sinai.

The Holy Spirit: The Presence of the Coming Age John Mark Hicks: a  review

Systematic Biblical Doctrine: Lipscomb Undergraduate Course

When people amass all of the Bible passages which mention "spirit" to prove that the Spirit OF Christ is ANOTHER PERSON,  it takes a lot of digging to uncover the polytheism plot.  I have about finished looking at  the proof  texts which budding theologians will never read before hiring themselves  out as false teachers. this is a first, quick supply of truth to set you free.

The Holy Spirit, as the personal presence of God, is the active agent and earnest of our salvation.

The Spirit of God is present at the very beginning (Gen. 1:2), throughout the organic growth of the narrative, and in the climax, “The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” (Rev. 22:17).
Gen. 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
        And the Spirit
[h7307]of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Fero  B. In partic. 1. With the idea of motion predominating, to set in motion, esp. to move onward quickly or rapidly, to bear, lead, conduct, or drive away; to move or go swiftly, to haste, speed, betake one's self; and of things, to flow, mount, run down.
Spirit literally means wind: it never means a  PERSON but the mental disposition of a person.
Psa. 148:5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.
Psa. 148:6 He hath also stablished them for ever and ever:
        he hath made a decree which shall not pass.
Psa. 148:7 Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:
Psa. 148:8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy WIND [h7307] fulfilling his word:
The Spirit participates in divine works: creation (Psalm 104:30);
Psa. 104:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great;
         thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
Psa. 104:2 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment:
        who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
Psa. 104:3 Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters:
        who maketh the clouds his chariot:
        who walketh upon the wings of the wind: [h7307]
Psa. 104:4 Who maketh his angels spirits [h7307];
        his ministers a flaming fire:

Psa. 104:5 Who laid the foundations of the earth,
        that it should not be removed for ever.
Psa. 104:6 Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment:
        the waters stood above the mountains.
Psa. 104:7 At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.

Tertullian who invented the word Trinity or Trias Warned:

Tertullian and others never used the word "person." A person is a "people" a human being. Rather, they used the word personae which means "mask" or mode of expressing self.

"There are some who allege that even Genesis opens thus in Hebrew: "In the beginning God made for Himself a Son." As there is no ground for this, I am led to other arguments derived from God's own dispensation, in which He existed before the creation of the world, up to the generation of the Son.

For before all things God was alone - being in Himself and for Himself universe, and space, and all things. Moreover, He was alone, because there was nothing external to Him but Himself.

Yet even not then was He alone; for He had with Him that which He possessed in Himself, that is to say, His own Reason.

"For God is rational, and Reason was first in Him; and so all things were from Himself. (Spirit is the rational nature)

This Reason is His own Thought (or Consciousness) which the Greeks call logos, by which term we also designate Word or Discourse and therefore it is now usual with our people, owing to the mere simple interpretation of the term,

to say that the Word was in the beginning with God; although it would be more suitable to regard Reason as the more ancient; because God had not Word from the beginning, but He had Reason even before the beginning; because also Word itself consists of Reason, which it thus proves to have been the prior existence as being its own substance....

He became also the Son of God, and was begotten when He proceeded forth from Him (from chs. 5,7

The Spirit and Trinity

God imaged Himself as Father, Son and Spirit to repudiate the always-pagan trinity. God is ONE GOD and Jesus claimed all of the roles in One Being so we could not be mistaken

Iranaeus Against Heresies Book II says what all classical trinitarians believed.

THE PAGAN FOLLY TO BE REPUDIATED:

for there is among the Greeks one logos which is the principle that thinks,
        and another which is the instrument by means of which thought is expressed);

        and [to say] that a man sometimes is at rest and silent,
        while at other times he speaks and is active.

THE CLEAR REPUDIATION WITH BLACK TEXT ON
BROWN PAPER:

But since God is
        all mind, all reason, all active spirit, all light,
        and always exists one and the same,
        as it is both beneficial for us to think of God,

         and as we learn regarding Him from the Scriptures,
         such feelings and divisions [of operation]
         cannot fittingly be ascribed to Him.

For our tongue, as being carnal, is not sufficient to minister to the rapidity of the human mind, inasmuch as that is of a spiritual nature, for which reason our word is restrained  within us,
         and is not at once expressed as it has been conceived by the mind,
         but is uttered by successive efforts, just as the tongue is able to serve it.

5. But God being all Mind, and all Logos,
        both speaks exactly what He thinks,
        and thinks exactly what He speaks
.

For His thought is Logos, and
        Logos is Mind comprehending all things is the Father Himself.

He, therefore, who speaks of the mind of God,
        and ascribes to it a special origin of its own,
        declares Him a compound Being,
                as if God were one thing,
                and the original Mind another.

So, again, with respect to Logos,
        when one attributes to him the third place of production from the Father;
        on which supposition he is ignorant of His greatness;
        and thus Logos has been far separated from God.

As for the prophet, he declares respecting Him,
        "Who shall describe His generation? " 238
        But ye pretend to set forth His generation from the Father,
        and ye transfer the production of the word of men
        which takes place by means of a tongue to the Word of God,
        and thus are righteously exposed by your own selves
        as knowing neither things human nor divine.

6. But, beyond reason inflated [with your own wisdom],
        ye presumptuously maintain that ye are acquainted
        with the unspeakable mysteries of God;
             while even the Lord, the very Son of God,
             allowed that the Father alone knows the very day and hour of judgment,

when He plainly declares, "But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, neither the Son, but the Father only." If, then, the Son was not ashamed to ascribe the knowledge of that day to the Father only, but declared what was true regarding the matter, neither let us be ashamed to reserve for God those greater questions which may occur to us.
The Spirit is characterized by divine attributes:
omniscience (1 Corinthians 2:10);

That is because the Spirit is the Spirit OF God: God always had His Word, Wisdom and Spiriti wit Him.
1Cor. 2:1 And I, brethren, when I came to you,
        came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom,
        declaring unto you the testimony of God.
1Cor. 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you,
        save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

The two ACTORS are God the Father and Jesus Christ:  Paul is not going to "tesify" about the  "person" of a holy spirit. The testimony of God is the testimony of Jesus:
Rev. 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
1Cor. 2:3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
1Cor. 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom,
        but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
1Cor. 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men,
        but in the power of God

Spirit and power belong in the same class: The Holy Spirit "person" cannot be grouped with power and wisdom.  Spirit and power are defiined as "power of God."
omnipotence (Micah 3:8);

The Spirit of God is defined as WIND or BREATH by which He exercises His Power.
Mic. 3:7 Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded:
        yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.
Mic. 3:8 But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD,
        and of judgment, and of might,
        to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
Mic. 3:11 The heads thereof judge for reward,
        and the priests thereof teach for hire,
        and the prophets thereof divine for money:
        yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say,
        Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.
and omnipresence (Psalm 139:7-10).
Psa. 139:1 O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.
Psa. 139:2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising,
        thou understandest my thought afar off.
Psa. 139:3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
Psa. 139:4 For there is not a word in my tongue,
        but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
Psa. 139:5 Thou hast beset me behind and before,
        and laid thine hand upon me.
Psa. 139:6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
        it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
Psa. 139:7 Whither shall I go from THY spirit?  [The Lord's spirit]
        or whither shall I flee from THY presence?

The Lord has Spirit or Mind: His Mind is not another "god.""

Psa. 139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there:
        if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
Psa. 139:9 If I take the wings of the morning,
        and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
Psa. 139:10 Even there shall thy hand lead me,
        and thy right hand shall hold me.
regeneration (John 3:5);

W. Robertson Nicoll: "To remove as far as possible the difficulty of Nicodemas as to the how (how, dp) of the new birth our Lord declares that the two great factors in it are 'water' and 'spirit.'" (Expositors Greek Testament, Vol. I, p. 713).

Marvin R. Vincent: "The exposition of this much controverted passage does not fall within the scope of this work. We may observe,

1. That Jesus here lays down the preliminary conditions of entrance into His kingdom, expanding and explaining His statement in ver. 3.

2. That this condition is here stated as complete, including two distinct factors, water and the Spirit.

3. That the former of these two factors is not to be merged in the latter; that the spiritual element is not to exclude or obliterate the external and ritual element.

We are not to understand with Calvin, the Holy Spirit as the purifying water in the spiritual sense: 'water which is the Spirit.'

4. That water points definitely to the rite of baptism, and with a twofold reference to the past and to the future." (Word Studies In The New Testament, Vol. 2, p. 91).

B. F. Westcott: "It can, then, scarcely be questioned that as Nicodemus heard the words, water carried with it a reference to John's baptism, which was a divinely appointed rite (i.33),

gathering up into itself and investing with a new importance all the lustral baptisms of the Jews." (The Gospel According To John, p. 50).

A. T. Robertson: "We are puzzled by the placing of 'water' here before 'Spirit' as a necessity to entering the Kingdom of God. But Nicodemas was troubled about 'Spirit.' He was thinking only of the physical birth.

On the whole it is probable that by 'water' Jesus refers to baptism. John the Baptist preached repentance and practiced the baptism of those who confessed their sins." (Minor Characters In The New Testament, p. 6).

resurrection (Rom. 8:11);
Rom. 8:10 And if Christ be in you,
        the body is dead because of sin;
        but the spirit is life because of righteousness.
Rom. 8:11 But if the Spirit of him [Spirit OF God]
        that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you,
        he that raised up Christ from the dead
        shall also quicken your mortal bodies
        by his spirit that dwelleth in you.

Christ in you is his spirit that dwelleth in you.

His Spirit is the Spirit OF God:  Paul never speaks of Spirit separated from its owner.

John 6:44 No man can come to me,
        except the Father which hath sent me draw him:
        and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:45 It is written in the prophets,
        And they shall be all taught of God.
        Every man therefore that hath heard,
        and hath learned of the Father,
        cometh unto me.
Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
and miracles (1 Corinthians 12:4-11).

Supernatural gifts were given to various people to make sure the Church was enabled.
1Cor. 12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom;
        to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
1Cor. 12:9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

WHO GAVE THESE GIFTS?

Psa. 68:18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive:
        thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also,
        that the LORD God might dwell among them.
Eph. 4:8 Wherefore he saith,
        When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive,
        and gave gifts unto men.
Just as the Father gives life (Romans 8:11),
so the Spirit gives life (2 Corinthians 3:6).
2Cor. 3:4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
2Cor. 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves;
        but our sufficiency is of God;
2Cor. 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament;
        not of the letter,         [The Law]
        but of the spirit:         [The  spirit=the new testament]
        for the letter killeth,           [The Law of Moses]
        but the spirit giveth life.   [The New Testament]
2Cor. 3:7 But if the ministration of death,
        written and engraven in stones, was glorious,
        so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses
        for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
2Cor. 3:8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious
2Cor. 3:15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
2Cor. 3:16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
2Cor. 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit:
        and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
2Cor. 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord,
        are changed into the same image from glory to glory,
        even as by the Spirit of the Lord

PETER DEFINED THAT AS THE PROPHECIES AND PROPHECIES MADE PERFECT

2Pet. 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy;
        whereunto ye do well that ye take heed,
        as unto a light that shineth in a dark place,
        until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
The Spirit is specifically identified in New Testament triune sayings (e.g., Matthew 28:19;

Scholars are perfectly clear that there are no triune sayings in the Bible.
Matt. 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,
        All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Matt. 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
        baptizing them in the NAME (singular) of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Matt. 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things
        whatsoever I have commanded you:
        and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Peter heard this and did not think about a trinity: Jesus had explained that HE was the visible image of the always-pagan triads.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them,
        Repent, and be baptized every one of you
        in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,
        and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost

The NAME of father, son and spirit is Jesus Christ: Peter just  told  us so.
The NAME of the "another Comforter" is Jesus Christ the Righteous 1  John 2
The NAME of "father, son and spirit" is Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 4:4-6).

2Cor. 13:14 The
        grace of the Lord Jesus Christ,
        and the love of God,
        and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

Novatian Trinity

The true and eternal Father is manifested as the one God, from whom alone this power of divinity is sent forth, and also given and directed upon the Son, and is again returned by the communion of substance to the Father.

God indeed is shown as the Son, to whom the divinity is beheld to be given and extended.

And still, nevertheless, the Father is proved to be one God; while by degrees in reciprocal transfer that majesty and divinity are again returned and reflected as sent by the Son Himself to the Father, who had given them;

so that reasonably God the Father is God of all, and the source also of His Son Himself whom He begot as Lord

Paul in Ephesians 4 is clearly speaking of the spirit OF unity and not A Holy Spirit person:
Eph. 4:3 Endeavouring to keep
            the unity of the spirit
            in the bond of peace.
Eph. 4:4 There is one body,
                        and one spirit, even as ye are called
                        in one hope of your calling;

THEN THE ALWAYS STATEMENT OF TWO ACTORS:

Eph. 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph. 4:6 One God and Father of all,
        who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Relational Ontology. The Spirit is God’s Spirit, the Spirit of God.

My spirit is the spirit of Me but we are not two persons.

Paul, for example, thinks of the Spirit primarily in terms of the Spirit’s relationship to God. God gives the Spirit (1 Thessalonians 4:8). But Paul also calls the Spirit the Spirit OF Christ (Philippians 1:19; Romans 8:9). These genitives express relationship. Both God and Christ give identity to the Spirit–the Spirit is from God and is how Christ is present to believers in their hearts.

While the Spirit of God is identical with the Spirit of Christ (which reflects Paul’s high Christology), the Spirit is not equated with the risen Lord.
First, after the Lord arose all of the salutations of the writers identify two actors: God the Father and Jesus Whom God made to be both Lord and Christ. In his old age it was not the  Spirit OF Christ dislodged from Christ to which IT belonged  but. When the Spirit Lord appeared and spoke to Paul He  said "I am Jesus of Nazareth."
2Pet. 1:1 Simon Peter, a servant and
        an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us
        through the righteousness of God
        and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

2Pet. 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you
        through the knowledge of God,
        and of Jesus our Lord,

2Pet. 1:3 According as his divine power
        hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness,
        through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue
:

If a third person had to trail after Jesus, what could "he" supply if Jesus our Lord  has given us ALL THINGS that we  need.

Was Jesus Christ Who said My WORDS are SPIRIT and LIFE really incompetent. Peter did not believe tat  that there would be a lingering disconnected Spirit to guide the people after the Will of christ had been perfected.
2Pet. 1:13 Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle,
        to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;

2 Pet 1:14 Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle,
        even as our
Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.

The ONLY way to brand false teachers with a hot iron was to perfect  the  written will of Christ as the prophets had  recorded the  will of the Spirit OF Christ.   That "Spiit" existed always and to say that IT rules this  dispensation is to repudiate  the work of Jesus the Man of God.

Pet. 1:16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables,
        when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ,
        but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
2Pet. 1:17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory,
        when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory,
        This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well please
2Pet. 1:18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard,
        when we were with him in the holy mount.
2Pet. 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy;
        whereunto ye do well that ye take heed,
        as unto a light that shineth in a dark place,

2Pet. 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

Meaning "No further expounding." Did Jesus not make the prophecies of the Spirit OF Christ more certain?

2Pet. 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man:
        but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost
.

1Pet. 1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
Rev. 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy
Why you should never believe anyone who "further expounds".

2Pet. 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people,
        even as there shall be false teachers among you,
        who privily shall bring in damnable heresies,
        even denying the Lord that bought them,
        and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2Pet. 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways;
        by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
2Pet. 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words

        and their damnation slumbereth no

The Spirit Lord Who appeared to Paul said "I am Jesus of Nazareth." To Peter, He was the Lord Jesus Christ who would GUIDE him unto all truth up to the time He died. The Spirit OF Jesus Christ IS Jesus Christ and NOT a little fella what fits a cookoo clock.

The Spirit and the Lord are distinct from each other (e.g., both intercede for us in Romans 8:26-27, 34). The Spirit is personally distinct from Christ though their functions are linked. The Spirit is the means by which Christ lives in us.
2Cor. 3:17 Now the Lord IS that Spirit:
        and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
2Cor. 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass
        the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory,
         even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. Rom 8:21

Isa 26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night;
        yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early:
        for when thy judgments are in the earth,
        the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

578.  anah, aw-naw´; a primitive root; to groan:—lament, mourn.

Jn 11:33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping,
        and the Jews also weeping which came with her,
        he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,

Jn 11:37 And some of them said, Could not this man,
        which opened the eyes of the blind,
        have caused that even this man should not have died?
Jn 11:38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave.
        It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.

2Cor. 5:2 For in this we groan
        earnestly desiring to be clothed upon
        with our house which is from heaven:
2Cor. 5:4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan,

1) to enter a contest: contend in the gymnastic games
2) to contend with adversaries, fight
3) metaph. to contend, struggle, with difficulties and dangers
4) to endeavour with strenuous zeal, strive: to obtain something

Rom. 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Rom. 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Some question the personality of the Spirit. There is no metaphor for the Spirit analogous to “Father” and “Son” which projects personhood. “Spirit” sounds impersonal. But the Spirit (though pneuma is grammatically neuter) is referenced in a personal gender (John 14:26; 15:26; 16:8, 13, 14, “that person”).

Spirit is neuter: it is treated as a personality because IT belongs to Jesus Christ.  The spirit of Sally would be a "she."
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,
    A. whom the Father will send in my name,
        he shall teach you all things,
        and bring all things to your remembrance,
        whatsoever I have said unto you.

The Spirit OF Christ would never say anything Christ did not "breath out."
John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come,

B. whom I will send unto you from the Father,
        even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father,
        he shall testify of me:

John 15:27 And ye also shall bear witness,
        because ye have been with me from the beginning

Unless you are very old you should never claim to hear beyond the sacred page. If the spirit is telling you something Jesus Christ has not taught then you may need exorcism.
John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away:
        for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you;

C. but if I depart, I will send him unto you
This is to confirm that Jesus as the Christ has all authority of Father, Son and Spirit. His name will be Jesus Christ so He will not have any new revelations for you.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come,
        he will guide you into all truth:
        1. for he shall not speak of himself;

2. but whatsoever he shall hear,

3. that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
John 16:14 He shall glorify me:
        for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

John 16:15

1. All things that the Father hath are mine:

2. therefore said I, that he shall take of mine,

3. and shall shew it unto you.

John 16:29 His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.

1John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.
        And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only,
        but also for the sins of the whole world.
1John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
The Spirit is “another parakletos” (John 14:16, 26; 15:26; 16:7). The absence of Jesus means the presence of another, one distinct from himself who has the same function. Thus, the disciples will not be left alone as if orphans. Rather, the Spirit is a personal representative of the Father and the Son.

The Present Jesus Christ said I will come to you and John said that the Comforter  is Jesus Christ: Not one added to one to make two but different  in nature.
Luke 2:25 And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon;
        and the same man was just and devout,
        waiting for the consolation of Israel: [paraklesis]
        and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
Rom. 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort [paraklesis] of the scriptures might have hope.
Rom. 15:5 Now the God of patience and consolation [paraklesis] grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

2Cor. 1:2 Grace be to you and peace
        from God our Father,
        and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
2Cor. 1:3 Blessed be God,
        even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies,
        and the God of all comfort;
2Cor. 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation,
        that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble,
        by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
2Cor. 1:5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us,
        so our consolation [paraklesis] also aboundeth by Christ.

2Cor. 7:4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you:
        I am filled with comfort, [paraklesis]
        I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.
2Cor. 7:5 For, when we were come into Macedonia,
        our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side;
        without were fightings, within were fears.
2Cor. 7:6 Nevertheless God,
        that comforteth those that are cast down,
        comforted [parakaleō] us by the coming of Titus;
2Cor. 7:7 And not by his coming only, but by the consolation [paraklesis] wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more.
Luke 2:26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost,
        that he should not see death,
        before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.
Luke 2:27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple:
        and when the parents brought in the child Jesus,
        to do for him after the custom of the law,

Rev. 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
The Comforter will in fact be the same Jesus of Nazareth (as He appeared to Paul and warned Peter): He will be "of another sort." The same John says that the Paraclete will be Jesus Christ the Righteous:
1John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.
        And if any man sin, we have an advocate
[paraklete]
        with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2Th. 2:16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself,
        and God, even our Father, which hath loved us,
         and hath given us everlasting consolation [paraklesis]
         and good hope through grace,

Economic Trinity. The economic trinity is the role of the three persons in redemptive history.
Each has a distinctive role:
The Father elects, the Son is enfleshed, and the Spirit indwells.

For example, in 1 Peter 1:2, the Father foreknows, the Son sheds blood and the Spirit sanctifies (cf. 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14). The Father plans and elects, the Son accomplishes redemption within history, and the Spirit applies that redemption in the hearts of believers.
By reading context we find Peter proving that "sanctification of spirit" in 1:2 is OUR spirit being purified by obeying the truth which came by the Spirit of Christ.  God didn't just elect.  He elected  that  our spirits be sanctified (A holy spirit) by obedience and  sprinkling the blood of Jesus Christ..
Heb. 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

You will notice in 2 Corinthians the Father - Son relationship and no third person

2Th. 2:1 Now we beseech you,
        brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ,
        and by our gathering together unto him,
2Th. 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled,
        neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us,
        as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2Th. 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means:
        for that day shall not come,
        except there come a falling away first,
        and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th. 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself
        above all that is called God, or that is worshipped;
        so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

2Th. 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth,

        but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2Th. 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway
        to God for you,
        brethren beloved of the Lord, because
        God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through
        sanctification of the spirit (yours) and belief of the truth.
The example from 1 Peter 2 proves that it is OUR spirit or souls which are purified in obeying the truth. The order does not mean that God gives us THE Holy Spirit BEFORE we can believe.

In Acts 2:38 and 1 Peter  3:21 we  receive A holy spirit or A good conscience when when we are baptized. Baptism saves because there we request A holy spirit or A good conscience.  The Holy Spirit does not initiate our salvation:

2Th. 2:14 Whereunto
        he called you by our gospel,
        to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Th. 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast,
        and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
2Th. 2:16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself,
        and God, even our Father, which hath loved us,
        and hath given us everlasting consolation [paraklesis] and good hope through grace,

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38

A holy spirit is not a third person: Jesus Christ promised to return as another or fuller comforter (John 14:18). In the human sense A holy spirit is A clear conscience or A sanctified spirit. The word holy is:

Hagios (g40) hag'-ee-os; from hagos , (an awful thing) [comp. 53, 2282]; sacred (phys. pure, mor. blameless or religious, cer. consecrated): - (most) holy (one, thing), saint

A sanctified spirit is:

Hagiasmos (g38) hag-ee-as-mos'; from 37; prop. purification, i.e. (the state) purity; concr. (by Hebr.) a purifier: - holiness, sanctification.

Paul defined it this way: A true heart is

Katharos (g2513) kath-ar-os'; of uncert. affin.; clean (lit. or fig.): - clean, clear, pure.

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith,

having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience,
and our
bodies washed with pure water. Heb.10:22

The same Peter called it A good or clear conscience.

And corresponding to that, baptism now saves you-- not the removal of dirt from the flesh,
but an appeal to God for A good conscience-- through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 1 Peter 3:21

Alexander Campbell and others understand that A holy spirit is OUR unholy spirit which has been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ and not His "spirit."

This is...understood by every attentive reader. The original phrase is hagiasmos pneumatos, and is found only in II. Thess. ii. 13; I. Pet. i. 2. In both places it appears to refer to the sanctification of the spirit of believers.   It is literally rendered "sanctification [or holiness] of spirit." There is no article in the original and no epithet that suggests the Holy Spirit in either passage

God has chosen men to salvation through (or by) holiness of spirit;

not through the holiness of his Spirit,
        but through the holiness of their spirit.

When Jesus prayed (John xvii.) for the sanctification or holiness of his disciples,
          it was through the truth: "Sanctify them through the truth;
          thy word is truth."

The belief of the truth is, therefore, by Paul associated with this holiness or sanctification of spirit.

The Spirit of God is frequently denominated in these days, "the Sanctifier." Let it be granted that it is the Spirit that sanctifies or sets apart men to God, still it must be argued from the Record that he sanctifies them only through the truth or gospel believed.
A sanctified unbeliever is inconceivable;
        and, as "without holiness [or sanctification of spirit] no man can see the Lord;
        so, without faith, there can be no holiness, and no action acceptable to God.

All persons sanctified to God to any high office or function, were anointed, and thus consecrated to his special service. So all Christians, being priests,

        are anointed or sanctified by the Holy Spirit
       [135] through the obedience of the truth,
        and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus,
        cleansing their consciences from dead works to serve the living God.
The Spirit calls people to faith and convicts them of sin.

This is a misunderstanding of Calvinism: Calvin taught that the Spirit is never heard outside of the written wordk.  He calls fanatics those who claim otherwise.  However, the LU thesis to agree  with Calvin demands that God select them.
John 6:44 No man can come to me,
        except the Father which hath sent me draw him:
        and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:45 It is written in the prophets,
        And they shall be all taught of God.
        Every man therefore that hath heard,
        and hath learned of the Father,
        cometh unto me.
John 6:46 Not that any man hath seen the Father,
        save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

The Holy Spirit person never saw God the Father!

Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized:
        and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls

They had their personal spirit made holy AFTER they were baptized: The Spirit of Christ was teaching them through His Word (only).
In the economic sense Jesus of Nazareth owns the manifestation and authority of the father, son (daughter) and spirit of the always-pagan triads.
Matt. 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,
        All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

1Cor. 15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet.
        But when he saith, all things are put under him,
        it is manifest that he is excepted,
        which did put all things under him.
Heb. 2:8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet.
        For in that he put all in subjection under him,
        he left nothing that is not put under him.
        But now we see not yet all things put under him.

THAT WOULD NOT ALLOW ANY POWER FOR A SPIRIT NOT THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST.

Matt. 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
        baptizing them in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Matt. 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things
        whatsoever I have commanded you
        and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen

Name is singular: Jesus of Nazareth will be WITH them and God the Father made Him to be both Lord of Christ until our world comes to an end.
Rom. 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written,
        How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace,
        and bring glad tidings of good things!
Rom. 10:16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel.
        For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
Rom. 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing,
        and hearing by the word of God.

The Spirit applies the reality of salvation to people. The Spirit works within the individual to produce the effects of salvation in their lives (“fruit of the Spirit,” Galatians 5) but also in the community as a whole. The Spirit completes the goal of glorification through the resurrection. As Gordon Fee suggests, the Spirit is the “soteriological experience of God” (Empowering Presence, 843) or the redemptive presence of God.  ;- )

THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS THE FRUIT OF CHRIST.

I have removed the uppercase "S" because it is not in the text and "spirit" is contrasted with "flesh." Neither spirit  nor flesh are "people.

Gal. 5:15 But if ye bite and devour one another,
        take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
Gal. 5:16 This I say then,
        Walk in the spirit, and ye shall not  (not a person)
        fulfil the lust of the flesh.                   (not a person)
Gal. 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the spirit,
        and the spirit against the flesh:
        and these are contrary the one to the other:
        so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Gal. 5:18 But if ye be led of the spirit, ye are not under the law.
If we  follow the impulse of our fleshly appetites these  are  the results:
Gal. 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these;
        Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Gal. 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Gal. 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:
        of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past,
        that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
If our spirit has been made into A holy spirit and we follow the mental or rational impulses of our mind then we  will not let flesh  (not a people) take  control.
Gal. 5:22 But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal. 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Gal. 5:24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Gal. 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
The fruits of the Spirit are the fruits of Christ.
Phil. 1:8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all
        in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

Splagkhnon heart, inner being, pity, seat of feelings, v. 12:10 A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

Neither the spirit OF Christ or the bowels of Christ are separated persons

Phil. 1:9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more
        in knowledge and in all judgment;
Phil. 1:10 That ye may approve things that are excellent;
        that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ
Phil. 1:11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness,
        which are by Jesus Christ,
        unto the glory and praise of God.

Peter lists these fruits

2Pet. 1:3 According as his divine power
        hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness,
        through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
2Pet. 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:
        that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,
        having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
2Pet. 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
2Pet. 1:6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
2Pet. 1:7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
2Pet. 1:8 For if these things be in you,
        and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren
        nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ
We may summarize the economic work of the Trinity in two sentences.

First, whatever the Father does in the accomplishment of redemption, the Father does through the Son (Eph. 1:4-14). The Incarnate Son works the work of the Father in fulfillment of the mission of God.

Notice that the salutations ALWAYS define the two actors in the scheme of redemption.
Eph. 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ
        by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus,
        and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
Eph. 1:2 Grace be to you, and peace,
        from God our Father,
        and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Eph. 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father
         of our Lord Jesus Christ,
        who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Eph. 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace,
        wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Wouldn't  the Epistles never saluting in the name of a Holy Spirit co-member of the godhead be an insult?
Eph. 1:7 In whom we have
        redemption through his blood,
        the forgiveness of sins,
        according to the riches of his grace;

As a result of the Redemption by the blood of Jesus and baptism where we have forgiveness of sins which gives US A holy spirit, we have A good conscience or a co-perception of the mysteries hidden from the foundation of the World.

Eph. 1:8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Eph. 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, [A seal]
            according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
Eph. 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times
        he might gather together in one all things in Christ,
        both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

Eph. 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance,
        being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things
        after the counsel of his own will:
Col. 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father,
        which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Col. 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness,
        and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

The Son of God is His Word.  God annointed Jesus of Nazareth as His Christ and Lord.

Col. 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood,
    even the forgiveness of sins:
Col. 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God,
        the firstborn of every creature:
Col. 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Col. 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Eph. 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance

   Heb. 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
   1Pet. 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the request for A good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ

This is OUR spirit or mental disposition: This is the GIFT. It is A holy personal spirit after sins are washed away by God at baptism. Without this regenerated spirit you CANNOT read the Word.
Eph. 1:15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
Eph. 1:16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

We receive A holy spirit or A good conscience which permits us to be a disciple of Christ (only) through His Word (only)

Eph. 1:17 That
        the God of
        our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory,
        may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Eph. 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened;
        that ye may know what is the hope of his calling,
        and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
This will never happen to those who deny that Jesus as the Christ has full authority in our world.

2Cor. 3:12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:
2Cor. 3:13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face,
        that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

Why you need A holy spirit:

2Cor. 3:14 But their minds were blinded:
        for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away
        in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
2Cor. 3:15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
2Cor. 3:16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord,
        the vail shall be taken away.
2Cor. 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit:
        and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
2Cor. 3:18 But we all,
        with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord,
        are changed into the same image from glory to glory,
        even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Second, whatever the Son does in the application of redemption, the Son does through the Spirit (Eph. 2:18-22). The Spirit is the means by which believers experience and encounter the Father through the Son.

The Spirit OF Christ is not another person! When Jesus Christ He speaks
John 3:32 And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth;
        and no man receiveth his testimony.
John 3:33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
John 3:34 For he whom God hath sent

        for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
John 3:35 The Father loveth the Son,
        and hath given all things into his hand.
When the Father (thought) breathes (so the word means) the results  are Words articulated by the Son.
Gal. 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law,
        being made a curse for us: for it is written,
        Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Gal. 4:5 To redeem them that were under the law,

Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us,
        that he might redeem us from all iniquit

1Pet. 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
You will notice that the problem with the Jews denying salvation to the Gentiles is that they were of TWO SPIRITS.  A spirit is never a "people" but the mental disposition of a  "people."
Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity,
        even the law of commandments contained in ordinances;
        for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Eph 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross,
        having slain the enmity thereby:
Eph 2:17 And came and preached peace
        to you which were afar off,
        and to them that were nigh.
Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one spirit unto the Father.
                 One spirit is the "spirit of oneness."

Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners,
        but fellowcitizens with the saints,
        and of the household of God;
Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets,
        Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

Eph 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together

Eph 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together

Our worship is IN THE PLACE of the human spirit as opposed to IN a house built by human hands.
Paul said that we worship IN THE SPIRIT rather than IN THE FLESH.
Redemptive-Historical Structure: Divine Presence

Act One: Creation–Garden Presence. After six days of creating, God rested on the seventh day. This divine rest is not simple passivity. Rather, the rest is a kind of “resting in” or enjoying the creation. God delights (“it is very good”) in and dwells (walks in the Garden) with humanity in the good cosmos. The rest of God is the mutual enjoyment of God, humanity and the cosmos.
John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive,
        because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him:
        but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you,
        and shall be in you.

Jesus as the Christ was the personified Word, Wisdom, Spirit, Righteousness, Grace etc of  God. When they saw the Son they saw the Father in the imaged sense. When they saw the Son they saw the personified Spirit or Mind of god.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you,
        my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
        Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14:31 But that the world may know
        that I love the Father;
        and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own:
        but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world,
        therefore the world hateth you.

John 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
John 17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Act Two: Israel–Temple Presence. This is the place God chose to dwell in the Hebrew Scriptures. God dwells in the temple; God’s feet rest on the footstool of the Ark of the Covenant. This is a special presence which communes with Israel in relationship.
Israel experienced this presence at the temple; there they entered the earthly sanctuary (dwelling-place) which was typological of the heavenly sanctuary. This is what I see in 2 Chronicles 6-7 and Leviticus 26:11-12, for example; or alluded to so often in the Psalms such as 63 or 132. This is a form of redemptive presence as God meets Israel at the temple for the sake of grace, mercy and forgiveness.
Christ provided for the godly people by ordaining the Qahal, synagogue or Church of Christ in the Wilderness. This was INCLUSIVE of REST, Reading and Rehearsing the Word of god.  It was EXCLSIVE of vocal or instrumental rejoicing. The synagoge  like the church was A School of the Word. This quarantined the godly people from the worship of the starry host at but never IN the temple.

The Temple was part of the Gentile-like national system to which God abandoned the nation of Israel. It had not been commanded by God.  The Tabernacle was the pattern and it was portable to prove that you cannot locate God or force Him to live in a box or dark temple like all other pagan  gods.
Acts 7:44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness,
        as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses,
        that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.
Acts 7:45 Which also our fathers that came after brought in

Acts 7:50 Hath not my hand made all these things?
Acts 7:51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears,
        ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein,
        seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth,
        dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
Acts 17:25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands,
        as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
Act Three: Incarnational Presence (Logos in the flesh). This is the presence of God walking upon the earth. God dwelt among with humanity in the flesh rather than in a temple. This is what I see in Matthew 1–”God with us” (Immanuel) or in John 1 (“the Word became flesh and dwelt among us”). This is the climactic moment in that God becomes human. It is an eschatological moment in that it anticipates the future when God will fully dwell with humanity on a renewed earth (“new heavens and new earth”).

Act Four: Pneumatological Presence (Holy Spirit dwells in Christians). The Spirit dwells in the bodies of individual Christians and in the body of Christ as a community. This is another form of redemptive presence—it is the sanctifying presence of God who transforms us by divine presence.
This is the presence of the Spirit on earth; our bodies are a divine sanctuary and the church community is the sanctuary of God upon the earth.

Through the presence of the Spirit we commune with the Father and Son in our daily walk. Through the Spirit, Christ dwells in our hearts by faith and is always present with us. This is what I see in Matthew 28:20; 1 Corinthians 3 & 6. We are the temple of God through the Holy Spirit as God has come to dwell among us in fulfillment of the ancient promises (2 Corinthians 6:16 quoting Leviticus 26:11-12).

Act Five: Eschatological Presence (God dwells with Redeemed Humanity). This is when the new Jerusalem descends to the new earth. God–the Triune God–fully dwells with humanity upon the earth. There is no temple; there is no sanctuary. The whole earth is the dwelling-place of God. This is what I see in Rev. 21-22. The presence of the Triune God is restored to the earth but it is not merely a restoration. It is a glorification since what is mortal has now been transformed into immortality (resurrection). Act One is not repeated but consummated and a new phase of the same journey begins–a journey into the depth and riches of communion with God, with each other, and with the creation.

Ascension, Pentecost and the Pouring Out of the Spirit

The Promise. A redemptive-historical distinction is made in Luke 3:15-18 between the work of John the Baptist (baptism in water) and the work of Christ (baptism in the Spirit). The baptism of John was for the remission of sins, but it did not entail the full soteriological reality, that is, the presence of the Spirit.

The promise of the Spirit is part of the reality of the eschaton. It is the “already” of what we have “not yet” received. We receive it as partial down payment of the full eschatological reality. We participate in that reality through one baptism: water and Spirit are united to mediate that reality to us. It is the corporate experience of the people of God–we are a baptized people, in water and Spirit.

The Fulfillment. Pentecost is part the Christ Event—his ascension and reign (Acts 2:1-39). The Death-Resurrection-Ascension-Exaltation-Pouring are a single event, a whole tapestry. It is the resurrected, crucified one who ascended to the right hand of God and poured out the Spirit. The giving of the Spirit at Pentecost is the “first fruits” of the harvest.

This “pouring out” is broader than the miraculous empowerment of the apostles (cf. Titus 3:5-6). The Spirit is poured out and promised to all those who are immersed (Acts 2:38). Just as Jesus was given the Spirit as foundational to his ministry, so believers are given the Spirit as empowerment for ministry. Jesus poured out the Spirit upon all believers as part of the body of Christ. Baptism in the Spirit does not refer only to individualistic experiences of the Spirit, but to the once-for-all outpouring of the Spirit at Pentecost for the church. We share in this reality when we are baptized into Christ (1 Corinthians 12:13).

The Principle. The exalted Lord is the life-giving Spirit (1 Corinthians 15:45; 2 Corinthians 3:17). There is a functional identification because Christ and the Spirit who applies the accomplished work of Christ. Christ is present through the Spirit in the lives of believers. As resurrected and ascended into heaven, he has become, in effect, “the Spirit” or “Life-giving Spirit.”

“Spiritual” refers to Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:10; 2 Corinthians 3:3).

Paul proves the universal: there are TWO ACTORS: God the Father the singular Deity  and Jesus of Nazareth Whom God made to be both Lord and Christ.
1Cor. 1:1 Paul, called to be
        an apostle of Jesus Christ
        through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,
1Cor. 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth,
        to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, (A personal holy spirit)
        called to be saints,
        with all that in every place call upon the
        name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
1Cor. 1:3 Grace be unto you, and peace,
        from God our Father,
        and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
1Cor. 1:4 I thank my God always on your behalf,
        for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;  [Not another person]
1Cor. 1:5 That in every thing
        ye are enriched by him,
        in all utterance, and in all knowledge;

The Spirit OF Christ is not another actor. The Spirit is named Jesus Christ the Righteous: He is thee only giver for what we know and utter.
1Cor. 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:
        for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1Cor. 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man,
                            save the spirit of man which is in him?
                    even so the things of God knoweth no man,
                           but the Spirit of God.

The Holy Spirit
        Is to God
What our spirit
        is to us.

Neither are separated "persons."

1Cor. 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world,
        but the spirit WHICH is of God;
        that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Note that in all of the discussion, the Spirit  OF Christ does no initiate any new words or information.  As the BREATH of God it carries the information which is articulated by  the Word: the Word of God is the Son of God all classical trinitarians agree.

Not that we might HEAR beyond the sacred page; that we might understand.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them,
        Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ
        for the remission of sins,
        and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

History including Alexander Campbell and Walter Scott grasp that when OUR spirit is washed from its UNholiness then WE have A holy spirit.

In 2Cor 3  Paul tells the Jews that until they are converted (baptized) they will not be able to read or understand the  Old Testament which was preached by being READ.

1 Peter 3:21 Baptism saves us because we REQUEST A good conscience which is A holy spirit.
Only those who have been baptized "might know the things that are freely given us of God.

1Cor. 2:13 Which things also we speak,
        not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth,
        but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
1Cor. 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:
        for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them,
        because they are spiritually discerned.
1Cor. 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

Paul then equates the Holy Spirit to the Mind of Christ.

1Cor. 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?
        But we have the mind of Christ.

Mind and Spirit and Heart are  very often used to mean the same thing: the spirit literally means WIND.  By analogy the BREATH of God.  However, mind, spirit and heart speak of the MENTAL DISPOSITION of man or God. The Holy Spirit is the Mind of Christ.  That is why Romans never speaks of a  spirit person but the Spirit OF God or the Spirit OF Christ.

By virtue of his exaltation, as last Adam, the Exalted Jesus has come into such permanent and complete possession of the Spirit that the two are equated in their activity. They are one in the eschatological work of giving life to the church.

John Mark Hicks means that they are bonded or in the words of H. Leo  Boles and Harding, the are very agreeable one with another.
This work of the Spirit (the Lord as Life-giving Spirit) is done presently through inner renewal, but will ultimately glorify us through resurrection (2 Corinthians 4:14-5:10). Thus, the presence of the Spirit is the presence of Christ (cf. John 14:12-23). The presence of the Spirit is what renders us “spiritual,” that is, guided, oriented by and living in the Spirit. The life we live is the life of the resurrected Christ through the Spirit.
The giving of the Spirit hinges on the work of Christ (John 7:39). It is a redemptive-historical event—something previously not done. It is a watershed event in the history of redemption. It is the source of life in the believer.
Our life is the life of the Spirit who mediates to us the power of the resurrected and exalted life of Christ. (In the above section I am indebted to my former professor Richard Gaffin for his insights.)
The Function of the Spirit

The Spirit as Indwelling Presence. The Spirit is the one by whom we commune with God. God dwells among us through the Spirit. The presence of the Holy Spirit is the witness to our redemption and we find this redemption in the community of God where God dwells through the Spirit.

We are not destitute of the personal presence of God. Just as God was personally present in the incarnation through Jesus, so God is personally present in the church through the indwelling Holy Spirit. Consequently, we are the temple of God. The Holy One dwells in our midst as an earnest of our future dwelling with God in the new heaven and the new earth.

The Spirit as Transforming Empowerment. There are three levels at which we may speak of this transformation: (1) Regeneration; (2) Sanctification; and (3) Glorification.

Regeneration is the work of the Spirit that inaugurates our salvation. It is a rebirth of our fallen nature out of the Spirit of God. Human nature is newly created—a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:7) and Spiritual power is introduced into our lives. This principle of life engages the flesh in a power struggle. Regeneration is human nature reborn according to the power of the Spirit rather than human nature born in the flesh (sarx).

RE means that OUR old UNholy spirit must be given a new birth.  Regenerated. That happens AFTER we have repented and been baptized for the REmission of OUR sins which made our spirits UNholy. WE must become like little children.
2Cor. 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Gal. 3:20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
Gal. 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid:
            for if there had been a law given which could have given life,
        verily righteousness should have been by THE LAW
Gal. 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin
        that the promise by faith OF JESUS CHRIST might be given to them that believe.

But after that (THE) faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster (THE LAW). Gal 3:25

Verse 25 is not a complete sentence.

WHAT?      FOR ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:26

BECAUSE   FOR as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Gal 3:27

[27] quicumque enim in Christo baptizati estis Christum induistis

quīcumque (or -cunque ), quaecumque, quodcumque (also separately:

You are saved by faith: what I mean is "as many have been baptized into Christ have been clothed with Christ.
Again there are only TWO ACTORS:

2Cor. 5:18 And all things are of God,
        who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ,
        and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
There is no separate person involved.
2Cor. 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ,
        reconciling the world unto himself,
        not imputing their trespasses unto them;
        and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Now, the Holy Spirit person is not going to inaugurates our salvation.

2Cor. 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ,
        as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead,
        be ye reconciled to God.
2Cor. 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin;
        that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Sanctification is the progressive work of the Spirit in the life of the believer (1 Peter 1:2; 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8; 2 Thessalonians 2:13). It is a process of renewal and metamorphosis. The inner person is daily renewed (2 Corinthians 4:15-16) and the Spirit strengthens the inner person (Ephesians 3:17-18) as we more and more approximate the image of Christ. The fruits of the Spirit are movements toward the image of Christ in sanctification (Galatians 5)

G40 hagios hag'-ee-os From   hagos (an awful thing) compare G53 , [ H2282 ]; sacred (physically pure, morally blameless or religious, ceremonially consecrated):—(most) holy (one, thing), saint
NO THIRD PERSON:
God gives US A holy spirit which is sanctification or holiness.

2Cor. 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written,
        I believed, and therefore have I spoken;
        we also believe, and therefore speak;
2Cor. 4:14 Knowing that
        he which raised up the Lord Jesus
        shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
2Cor. 4:15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
2Cor. 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish,
        yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

WHO DWELLS IN OUR HEART? the Spirit's name is Jesus Christ

Eph. 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
Eph. 3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
Eph. 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God
Glorification completes our salvation as we are resurrected by the power of the Spirit (Romans 8:11). The final glory is the resurrection (redemption) of the body. This resurrection is Christological in nature as we are conformed to the image of Christ, even in his body. This is the final transformation (Philippians 3:21). We are conformed to that image by the power of the Spirit. The Spirit will animate our resurrected bodies (1 Corinthians 15).

The Spirit as Gifter. The Spirit distributes the gifts of God. Everyone is given a “manifestation of the Spirit for the common good” (1 Corinthians 12:7). God gives gifts “through the Spirit” (1 Corinthians 12:6). These gifts range from gifts of mercy, teaching, leadership, generosity (Romans 12:3-8) to wisdom, knowledge, healings, miracles, prophecy and tongues (1 Corinthians 12:8-10). Neither of these lists are exhaustive but illustrative of God’s work within the community of faith for the sake of the body and the world. The same Spirit disperses a diversity of gifts (1 Corinthians 12:11).

So What?

The Spirit of God is the presence of God throughout creation. God has not abandoned the cosmos. The Spirit who was present at creation is present in all corners of the earth even now. The Spirit—the presence in which humans live, move and their being—is working common grace throughout the creation and within history.

God IS Spirit: when Paul corrected the Athenians he did not share the glory of God with other "persons" which  would be what the Athenians were  doing:
Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein,
        seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth,
        dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
Acts 17:25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands,
        as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
Acts 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men
        for to dwell on all the face of the earth,
        and hath determined the times before appointed,
        and the bounds of their habitation;
Acts 17:27 That they should seek the Lord,
        if haply they might feel after him, and find him,
        though he be not far from every one of us:
Acts 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being;
        as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring
The Spirit of God is also a redemptive presence among the people of God through whom they commune with and experience the personal reality of God.
The Spirit is the personal, existential connection between God and humanity.

Gal. 3:20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
1Tim. 2:5 For there is one God,
                  and one mediator between God and men,
                  the man Christ Jesus;

Novatian Trinity: Moreover, the Son is God of all else, because God the Father put before all Him whom He begot.

Thus the Mediator of God and men, Christ Jesus, having the power of every creature subjected to Him by His own Father, inasmuch as He is God; with every creature subdued to Him, found at one with His Father God, has, by abiding in that condition that He moreover "was heard,"  briefly proved God His Father to be one and only and true God.

Heb. 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry,
        by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant,
        which was established upon better promises.
Heb. 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament,
        that by means of death,
        for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament,
        they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Heb. 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant,
        and to the blood of sprinkling,
        that speaketh better things than that of Abel

The personal indwelling of the Spirit is the experience of God in our hearts whereby we cry “Abba, Father.” The Father and Son come to dwell us through the presence of the Spirit.

His name is Jesus Christ the Righteous

The Holy Spirit is the power of our transformation into the image of Christ. The Spirit is present to empower, strengthen, and sanctify. The Spirit bears the fruit of love, peace and joy in our lives. The Spirit comforts us in our inner persons. The Spirit empowers forgiveness and release from resentment.
Rom. 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:
        for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;
        to the Jew first, and also to the Greek
1Cor. 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness;
        but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
1Cor. 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks,
        Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
1Cor. 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
2Cor. 6:7 By the word of truth,
        by the power of God,
        by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
2Cor. 13:4 For though he was crucified through weakness,
        yet he liveth by the power of God.
        For we also are weak in him,
        but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you
.
2Tim. 1:8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord,
        nor of me his prisoner:
        but be thou partaker of the afflictions
        of the gospel according to the power of God;
Rev. 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
1Pet. 1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready
        to be revealed in the last time.
The Spirit is an enabling presence for our transformation.

Rom. 12:2 And be not conformed to this world:
        but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,
        that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Eph. 4:21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
Eph. 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man,
        which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
Eph. 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
Eph. 4:24 And that ye put on the new man,
        which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
His name is Jesus Christ the Righteous

The Holy Spirit empowers our ministry as the Spirit gifts each of us for service in our faith communities as well as in the world. The Spirit equips for the “common good”—for communities of faith, for human society and for creation. We seek these gifts through prayer, discipleship and mentoring relationships.
