Calvinism has invaded many Churches of Christ.  ACU has a Baptist Theology Department. Lipscomb University has always been so afflicted.  Most Theologians reject Scripture and build their dogma on historic writers and perhaps are unable to "search the Scriptures" for the real truth

"About 30 percent of Southern Baptist pastors consider their churches Calvinist, according to a poll last year by SBC-affiliated LifeWay Research, but a much larger number — 60 percent — are concerned “about the impact of Calvinism in our convention.”

Calvinism declares that from eternity past God has hand picked those to burn in hell and those who go to heaven. Most neo-Calvinists use only isolated verses to prove their dogma. Their god needs to prove that He is SOVEREIGN   Not even Hitler could burn your soul.  ALL vocal Calvinists boast that THEY were picked as God's FAVORITE rather than by random selection.

God has the RIGHT and perhaps NECESSITY of selecting Jacob rather than Esau to be the preserver of the SEED of Abraham. God did not do Esau any damage by prophesying the character of his NATION.  God can pick one person to carry His message but He does not define their destiny and He does not do any harm to the REST of the population.

WE WILL SIMPLY ADD MANY SCRIPTURE PROOFS THAT CALVINISTS HAVE NO RESPECT FOR SCRIPTURE.  A CHRISTIAN CANNOT BELIEVE THAT GOD IS SO EVIL AS TO PICK SOME TO GO TO HELL.  IN ALL INSTANCES, GOD PRE-PLANS ONLY GOOD FOR ALL WHO ENROLLS IN HIS SCHOOL (ONLY) TO BE TAUGHT--AND NOT TEACH--SPIRITUAL VALUES.

Spirit means that God put His WORDS into the MOUTH of Jesus for the LAST TIME.  Jesus picked common but intelligent Apostles to witness His LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT.  He did not do the rest of the Galileans any harm.  God always promises GOOD.

Luke 20:20 And they watched him, and sent forth spies,
        which should feign themselves just men,

        that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.

The writer of Hebrews calls all Calvinists liars: Many early offspring of Eve were called Righteous.

Heb. 11:4  By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain,

        God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
Heb. 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death;
        and was not found, because God had translated him:
        for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
Heb. 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him:
        for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
        and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

        and BECAME heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

It is a heretical lie to say that God picks one person to go to heaven and another to go to hell.  The whole Christian system including the sacrifice of Jesus is declared to be IDIOTIC because nothing He did or taught can make any difference.

RESULT OF JUDGMENT BY  YOU:
James 2:9 But if ye have respect [accipitis be satisfied] to persons, ye commit sin,
        and are convinced of the LAW as transgressors.
James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is GUILTY of all.

DAVID YOUNG and Calvinists say that God is a RESPECTER of persons.

However The ELECTION applied only to a Jewish REMNANT who were preserved and were alive in Jerusalem and had not bowed to Baal.  It had nothing to do with the dead, many of whom were called righteous because they did righteous deeds.

Rom. 11:5 Even so then at this present time also
        there is a REMNANT according to the ELECTION of GRACE.

The Christian System is A Declaration of Independance.  The victory has been won and all of the Laded Burdens and Burden LADERS are dismissed because the WORLD ORDER is being destroyed.

Heb. 12:27 And this word, Yet once more,
        signifieth the REMOVING of those things that are SHAKEN,
        as of things that are made,
        that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Paul speaks of US which means the Jews who had not bowed to Baal. Calvinists say ME and each individual.

THE TINY REMNANT WOULD BE PRESERVED

Amos 9:8 Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful KINGDOM,

The House is not the Temple or a Worshp Center. Families do not hire people to move in and take contro.

Amos 9:9 For, lo, I will command,

In 1 Corinthians 10 and Romans 9-11 Paul debunks the Jew's claim that they were predestined meaning that they could not be lost.

Amos 9:12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom,

THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID was permitted by God BUT Solomon built God a House, but God does not dwell in temples made by man

        and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down;
        and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:

God allowed David to build a TENT but Solomon built a HOUSE. However, God does not live in houses built by human hands. Neither is He worshipped by human hands.

Most of the Jewish people living outside of Canaan have their DNA traced to a single female in some cases.

PAUL WAS SPEAKING TO BELIEVING JEWS as the ELECT or a Favored Nation from the Beginning of Hebrew History.

Notice the two GROUPS which is always the meaning of PREDESTINATED purpose.

And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob,
       [1] and to restore the PRESERVED OF ISRAEL: of Israel:
        AND
       [2] I will also give thee for a LIGHT to the Gentiles,
       [3] that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth. Isa 49:6

Only this small remnant of Jews were the ELECT.

Is. 42:1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold;
        mine ELECT, in whom my soul delighteth;

AND

        I have put my spirit upon him:
        he shall bring forth judgment to the GENTILES.

Is. 42:2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.

CRYING OUT would be Rhetoric, Singing, Playing instruments or anything to obscure the WORD.

Is. 42:3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench:
        he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
Is. 42:4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth:
        and the isles shall wait for HIS LAW

Rom. 8:2 For the LAW of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus
        hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Rom. 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law
        for righteousness to every one that believeth.

THE DEFINITION OF THE ELECT IN PROPHECY

Thus saith the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One,
        to him whom man despiseth,
        to him whom the nation abhorreth,
        to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship,
                because of the Lord that is faithful,
                and the Holy One of Israel,
                and he shall choose thee. Isa 49:7

Reserved does not mean predestiated but:

Esaias also crieth concerning Israel,
        Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea,
        a REMNANT shall be saved: Ro.9:27

For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea,
        REMNANTyet a  of them shall return:
        the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness. Isa 10:22

But what saith the answer of God unto him?
        I have RESERVED to myself seven thousand men,
        who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. Ro.11:4

Eph. 1:1 Paul, an apostle

Those who are IN CHRIST are predestined or prePURPOSED to be conformed to the IMAGE OF CHRIST.

THEY HAVE ALREADY BEEN SAVED. They are IN CHRIST and the predestined plan is NOT to be taken captive by a INSTITUTE OF PERFORMED WORSHIP.

g40.  hagios, hag´-ee-os; from  hagos (an awful thing) (compare 53, 2282); sacred (physically, pure, morally blameless or religious, ceremonially, consecrated): — (most) holy (one, thing), saint.

People are called or INVITED to be SAINTS: they are not predestined.  If they are predestined then Jesus DIED IN VAIN.
They are not saints until the Remission of Sins which is a result of Obeying the command to be baptized.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them,
        Repent, and be baptized every one of you
        in the name of Jesus Christ FOR the REMISSION of sins,
        and ye shall receive the gift of the [A] Holy Ghost.

        They have A holy or pure spirit: they do not get an unknown god

If God predestined anyone then they would HAVE no sins: Jesus died in vain.
If they are predestined without REPENTANCE or BAPTISM they why was Jesus not SANCTIFIED at baptism and then SENT.

With the remission of sins one has A holy spirit g40.  hagios

g53. hagnos, hag-nos´; from the same as 40; properly, clean, i.e. (figuratively) innocent, modest, perfect: — chaste, clean, pure.

The Holy Spirit God would not need to have ITS spirit "Regenerated by the Washing of Water.

1Pet. 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us
        (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh,  [Jewish washings]
        but the answer of [Request For] A good conscience toward God,)
         by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

Col. 1:13 Who hath DELIVERED us from the power of darkness,

        which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all,
        and to the SPIRIT of just [righteous] men made perfect,

THEY ARE FAITHFUL BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN BAPTIZED.

TRINITARIANS SAY THAT JESUS WAS REALLY GOD IN THE FLESH.

The Epistles were records of their PART to various people. The SALUTATIONS in the Apostles speak only to;

God the Father
The MAN Jesus as the only Mediator.
God spoke directly to Jesus and there is no The Holy Spirit as a requiredd "god" between them.

Eph. 1:2 Grace be to you, and peace, from
        God [Theos] our Father,
        AND from the
        Lord [Kurios] Jesus Christ.

Jesus was born IN THE FLESH over 30 years before God gave Him the Roles of Lord over His own kingdom and the prophesied MESSIAH.

Eph. 1:3 Blessed be the God [Theos] and Father
        of our Lord [Kurios Jesus Christ,
        who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings
        in HEAVENLY places in Christ:

These blessings are not in an organized WORSHIP observation, operation or Lying Wonder. Each Believer can come boldly before the throne without a Musical Worship Team.

Col. 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness,
        and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Heb. 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, [Church of Christ]
         which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all,
         and to the SPIRITS of just men made PERFECT,

TO THE PRAISE OF HIS GLORY IS WHAT EACH INDIVIDUAL DOES DEFINED AS PROSE.

Eph. 1:4 According as he hath chosen US IN HIM
        before the foundation of the world,
               FOR WHAT? THAT we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
               No one predestined to burn in hell.

Calvinism Refuted: (1) Appointed the eternal destiny of some to salvation by grace, while leaving the remainder to receive eternal damnation for all their sins, even their original sin. (Election/Predestination)[1]
John Calvin: According as he hath chosen us. The foundation and first cause, both of our calling and of all the benefits which we receive from God, is here declared to be his eternal election. If the reason is asked, why God has called us to enjoy the gospel, why he daily bestows upon us so many blessings, why he opens to us the gate of heaven, — the answer will be constantly found in this principle, that he hath chosen us before the foundation of the world … [6]

[Note: Calvin’s misquotation of Ephesians 1:4 by disregarding the phrase ‘in Him Christ’, which is crucial to understanding this verse; is of no surprise. In fact, Calvin makes this mistake numerous times.] [7]

NOTE: Not one time in The Institutes does Calvin ever quote “God is love” (1 John 4:8)[13]

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to EVERY CREATURE.

Jesus said that you cannot be saved and IN HIM unless you submit to baptism.

Mark 16:16 He that believeth [pistis-comply]  and is baptized shall be saved;
        but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Believeth Not is Apistos: it marks those who do not COMPLY as in rebellion and Treacherous.

If David Young was hand-picked before he was born then he is in great danger.

David Young tampers with BAPTISM and therefore cannot be the US IN HIM.

Gal. 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Gal. 3:27 FOR [enim. what I mean to make clear]
        as many of you as have been baptized INTO CHRIST have put on Christ.

Baptism is not a ticket on a joy bus to heaven. Consistent with ancient apprenticeships, believers are washed with water INTO the Word or into the School of Christ.

IF WE ARE IN JESUS CHRIST THIS IS THE PLANNED PURPOSE.

Prov. 4:14 Enter not into the path of the wicked,
        and go not in the way of evil men.
Prov. 4:15 Avoid it, pass not by it,
        turn from it, and pass away.
Prov. 4:16 For they sleep not,
                    except they have done mischief;
        and their sleep is taken away,
                    unless they cause some to fall.
Prov. 4:17 For they eat the bread of wickedness,
        and drink the wine of violence.
Prov. 4:18 But the path of the just is as the shining light,
        that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.
Prov. 4:19 The way of the wicked is as darkness:
         they know not at what they stumble
