Only Judah as a house or family continued: God had promised David a TENT at Mount Zion but Solomon built God a literal HOUSE but God does not dwell in houses built by human hands nor is He worshipped by anything you can make or compose.
The SECULAR Judah lost his sceptre when he pawned them to a temple prostitute who turned out to be his daughter-in-Law. However, the spiritual scepter was PRESERVED and PREDESTINED:

Ellen Kavanaugh: The first hint of when the new covenant is established is that it is made with both the Houses of Israel and the House of Judah. When did Israel and Judah make this covenant? According to scripture, there was a national *rejection* of Yeshua when He came -- Israel and Judah did *not* make the New Covenant with Yeshua. Yet many Christians assert that the new covenant is now in effect. Impossible! G-d will *only* make this covenant with the Houses of Israel and Judah -- the 'church' cannot usurp this promise and steal it for themselves. The new covenant is still in the future.

Ellen Kavanaugh: Here this covenant is contrasted to the written Torah -- this new covenant will be identified by the *heart having Torah*. Torah will be RENEWED among the Houses of Israel and Judah, Torah will be written in their hearts. Further, Israel and Judah will be His people -- He will be their G-d. Believers look for the day when G-d's people accept their Messiah -- this hasn't happened yet though. When the Jewish people call on Yeshua -- only then will He return and establish this promised new covenant.
That defines ANTICHRISTS. That is the usual claim that Jesus was DEFEATED by the Jews so He established the Church of Christ, retreated to heaven but will give it ANOTHER TRY. Messianic Jews work really hard to deny Him.

In His glorified state the ONE GOD THE FATHER sent Jesus to the upper room at Pentecost and "poured out that which you see and hear." The Jews claim that Messiah had not come BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T SEE OR HEAR HIM.

The Jews from HAGAR and JERUSALEM and MOUNT SINAI always killed the prophets who spoke by the Spirit OF Christ.

Ellen Kavanaugh: Again, this speaks of a still future time when all of Israel and Judah know their Messiah; a time when they do not need to be taught about the L-rd, because they all already know Him! This has not happened yet.
Rom. 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect.Abraham was an Asyrian and not a Jew: the people who operated The Law of Moses were the LEVITES as the sons of HAGAR.
For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

The Jews then and now reject Jesus as the Christ at the TIME God made Him to Be. Most of the people who accepted that Jesus WAS THEN the Christ obeyed, were baptized and were saved or made SAFE from that crooked race or race of vipers. Most of these were pilgrims whom God would scatter back out of Jerusalem. The Jews as "clergy" rejected Jesus and His ordinances, had him murdered and a million died when the Jewish pretend state came to an end in a few more years.
G-d's faithfulness -- He will never forsake His people, He will make a covenant He will never break.
38 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananel unto the gate of the corner. 39 And the measuring line shall yet go out straight forward unto the hill Gareb, and shall turn about unto Goah.This is referring to the messianic kingdom -- a time when Israel will inhabit all the land they were originally promised. The Messianic kingdom is tied into the making of the new covenant -- they come together. Contrast this to what actually happened in 70 CE --- Israel *lost* possession of the land, they didn't gain control over the land. When the New Covenant is completed, Israel will be in her land, *never* to be forced out again. This is why the disciples asked in Acts 1:6: "When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?" They understood a new covenant was to be made and the messianic kingdom established; but with the national rejection of Yeshua, they were unsure when He would set things in motion and fulfill the new covenant promises.
Lk 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

The Jews then and now thought that Messiah would set up an EARTLY KINGDOM so that they could RULE OVER THE GENTILES.
40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.Ellen Kavanaugh: This promise is telling -- it refers to a time after a great war has come -- the tribulation. This has not happened yet; yet it is tied in to the time G-d makes the covenant with the Houses of Israel and Judah.
That came AFTER the New Covenant was in effect and included ALL RACIAL groups in one body so that there CAN BE no Jews nor Gentiles.
Ellen Kavanaugh: Let's examine the Hebrews verses that seem to confuse the church regarding the new covenant:The first promised Holocaust (Isaiah 30) came in Jerusalem AD70
It has been said that there is scarcely another period in history so full of vice, corruption, and disaster as the six years between the Neronian Christian persecution from around AD64 and the destruction of Jerusalem in AD70. The prophetic description of the last days by our Lord began to be fulfilled before the generation to which he spoke had passed away (exactly as He had stated in Matt. 24:34: 'Truly I say to you, This generation shall not pass until all these things are fulfilled'). The day of judgment upon the Jewish people seemed to be close at hand. This is what the Christians believed and, indeed, subsequently had good reason to believe.Josephus (a personal witness to the events) claims that over 1,100,000 people were killed during the initial siege, of which a majority were Jewish. 97,000 were captured and enslaved, and many fled to areas around the Mediterranean. Titus reportedly refused to accept a wreath of victory, as there is "no merit in vanquishing people forsaken by their own God." During the siege, there was mass starvation in which cannibalism widely occurred with, it is believed, some mothers even devouring their own children. Later, there were even mass crucifixions to the degree that wood eventually became unavailable.
6. For it was right that in the very days in which they had inflicted suffering upon the Saviour and the Benefactor of all, the Christ of God, that in those days, shut up as in a prison, they should meet with destruction at the hands of divine justice.
The following sixth chapter of this work of Eusebius is so horrible that I have not included it here, but let no-one feel that these horrors which befell the Jews at that period of history are in any way exaggerated!
But, in all of this, we must note how the Christians who had been assembling in Jerusalem were miraculously spared:
"But the people of the church in Jerusalem had been commanded by a revelation, vouchsafed to approved men there before the war, to leave the city and to dwell in a certain town of Perea called Pella." (Book III, Ch. 5).
Eusebius refers to a miraculous event in which the voice of angel was distinctly heard by the Jerusalem Christians in their temple meeting place, saying, "Let us remove from here quickly."
Hebrews 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah."
Nothing here indicates the new covenant is already in effect. And the writer of Hebrews is quoting Jeremiah 31, showing with whom the covenant is made -- the House of Israel and Judah. The fault with the first covenant is that the people strayed from it. So G-d will renew the first covenant by writing Torah on their hearts this time and not on tablets
The Writer was looking backward to warn: that does not mean that the new covenant was still future! The Covenant existed because it had been ratified by the BLOOD of Jesus the Messiah.
Heb. 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy,You cannot MEDIATE or EXECUTE a will--the Last Will and Testament--UNTIL that Covenant has been PUT INTO FORCE.
who hath trodden under foot the Son of God,
and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing,
and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Heb. 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus,
that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
Rom. 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood,
we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Of course, the writer was defining PROPHECY: The Spirit OF Christ spoke only through the prophets to repudiate the Jews as the rullers. God made Jesus TO BE BOTH LORD AND CHRIST. Therefore, Jesus WAS the Messiah who came as prophesied to dismantle the Covenant with Death and Hell. He fulfilled the prophecies and taught the Apostles as eye- and ear witnesses. Peter said that this HAD been left as a memory and outlawed any further expounding or selling of learning. Jesus was the Mediator of this New Covenant which was effective after the Death of Jesus. When He comes again it will be for the final CASTING ALIVE INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE of the religious operatives of the Mother of Harlots called Jerusalem
Heb. 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry,The Jews had a Covenant with Death and Hell and not with Abraham.
by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant,
which was established upon better promises.
Heb. 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless,
then should no place have been sought for the SECOND.
Heb. 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord,
when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
Heb. 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers
in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt;

This was NOT the Temple which was a Ziggurat after the elders fired God and hired a "senior pastor": God promised to carry out His captivity and death sentence and WOULD NOT respond when they prayed. The Tabernacle was not a "worship center" but a tent of testimony preventing anyone from setting up another altar at any other place.
