2 Chronicles 29

Theology.and.AntiChrist.html  Instrumental Music in worship is gleaned from Hezekiah's exorcism of Jerusalem to purge it of burning infants to Molech.  The prophecy and fulfillment was that Messiah would be musically mocked. Those who impose music in worship intend to "make the lambs dumb before the slaughter."

Hezekiah rose to power between two very evil people: his father Ahaz and his son Manasseh.  Hezekiah had no motive to "restore" the worship of the starry host to which God abandoned Israel because of musical idolatry at Mount Sinai.   The animal sacrifices which God did not command but they cam with the abandonment to a national Civil-Military-Clergy system: God had Moses ordain the Levites to make certain that no civillian came near the sacrifices on the penalty of death, and to make certain that the animal slaughter was quarantined in Canaan, in Jerusalem, behind the Temple walls but NEVER inside of the "holy" places.  When Ahaz took the sacrifices out of Jerusalem the plague God promised broke out.

THE LEVITES

2 Chronicles 29 would rarely be the subject of modern sermons other than to try to prove that God commanded "instrumental praise and we must not be disobedient."  Josephesus identifies the Levites as Brahman: In Egypt they had been involved in burnt offerings of humans and in the wildernesss they carried the Tabernacle of witness as well as their own tabernacle of Molech since thy had been abandoned to worship the starry hosts and fire.

God through Moses commanded that the Levites be Chief Executioners and not musical worship ministers because they volunteered to execute 3,000 of their brethren who had engaged in musical idolatry of the Egyptian (etal) trinity at Mount Sinail.

After David they stood in RANKS under the king and commanders of the arm: this was the ONLY command from God. They would perform as guards to execute anyone who came near to the not-commanded animal sacrifices.

Only when Hezekiah commanded that they offer the goats (those on the left hand) or "demons" to try to appease Israel as the first instrumental sect.

Only for the burnt offering of the goats (instead of infants) did the Levites make instrumental noise: this was commanded ONLY by David the King.

Christ in the prophets calls the Civil-Military-Clergy complex robbers and parasites: Greek sacrificial musicians had the name "parasites."

Therefore, the primary evidence for using musical instruments in the assembly (synagogue or ekklesia) is based on a failure to read simple text.

If God did not command instruments for the future assembly or School of the Word then Christ in Jeremiah 23 says such people blaspheme the Holy Spirit (of Christ).

From these circumstances it resulted, that they could range less widely, and could less easily make war upon their neighbors; for which reason men fond of war [as they were] were affected with great regret. They thought, that considering the extent of their population, and their renown for warfare and bravery, they had but narrow limits, although they extended in length 240, and in breadth 180 [Roman] miles.

This was the condition when David had destroyed all of the enemies and he had a host of Levites on his hand.

Christ speaking through Hosea identified the true, spiritual Israel:
Hosea 11:1 When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.
Hosea 11:2 As they called them, so they went from them:
they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images.
Matthew understands this to apply to Jesus:
Matthew 2:13 And when they were departed,
behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream,
saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother,
and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word:
for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
Matthew 2:14 When he arose,
he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
Matthew 2:15 And was there until the death of Herod:
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet,
saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.
Jesus is the SEED (singular) of Abraham as well as the true Israel.

BACKGROUND:

Hezekiah was being threatened by the Assyrians and his motive was to return animal sacrifices to Jerusalem and get the people back close to or inside the walls.  His "plague stopping ritual" patterned somewhat after David's original plague-stopping animal slaughter involved purging the temple of pagan sacrifices and Jerusalem of pagan temples. This would permit the clergy to return to Jerusalem: he further offered the Goats for the whole nation of divided Israel trying to appease the northern tribes back to protect him.  The role of the Levites commanded by God through Moses was to guard the sacrifices so that no one--not even a Levite--could get too close. The loud instruments clearly commanded by David was to signal the Holocaust.
Albert Barnes: All Israel—Hezekiah aimed at reuniting once more the whole people of Israel, if not into a single state, yet, at any rate, into a single religious communion. The northern kingdom was in a condition approaching to anarchy. The end was evidently approaching. Hoshea, the king contemporary with Hezekiah 2 Kings 18:1 , ruled, not as an independent monarch, but as an Assyrian feudatory 2 Kings 17:3 . Under these circumstances Hezekiah designed to invite the revolted tribes to return, if not to their old temporal, at least to their old spiritual, allegiance 2 Chr. 30:5-10 . In order, therefore, to prepare the way for this return, he included "all Israel" in the expiatory sacrifice, by which he prefaced his restoration of the old worship.
Amos describes this fallen state.  The cause in Amos and Isaiah 5 is that they had taken music into the "holy" places and this was an affront God would not tolerate. The worship is defined by Stephen in Acts 7 and the "rising up to play" was the final pollution of the rest day God would not tolerate: the Levites jumped at the chance to slaughter 3000 of the musical brethren:
Amos 6:5 That chant to the sound of the viol,
and invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David
[The Levites were under the King and Commanders of the Army: not good to let them invade the temple]
Amos 8:1 Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.
[These were the musical "fruits" also defined by John in Revelation 18]
Amos 8:2 And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD
Amos 8:3 And the songs [loud strident barbaraque horribili stridebat tibia cantu,Cat. 64, 264:]
          of the temple [hinge=cardinal]
shall be howlings [vocal only] in that day, saith the Lord GOD:
         There shall be many dead bodies in every place;
they shall cast them forth with silence.
This old worship had not been commanded by God so the restoration consisted of burnt offerings of goats instead of infants.

After the Assyrians were plagued and defeated, Babylon rose to replace them as the enemy of Jerusalem.  They sent agents to Hezekiah pretending to be impressed by the defeated Assyrians by the hand of God.  Hezekiah's folly which produced little Manasseh made him boast of his wealth in the temple.  The Jews claim that he took the spies into the Most Holy Place.  Now, Hezekiah had revealed his wealth.  Isaiah castigated Hezekiah and promised that even the children would be taken captive: Okey Dokey with me, says Hezekiah, as long as it doesn't happen in my lifetime

As soon as Hezekiah died, the Temple again became the center of Moloch worship where Manasseh restored the burnt offering of children instead of Hezekiah's burnt offering of goats which would have stopped the child sacrifices of Ahaz.

When Manasseh died, Josiah again tried to purge Jerusalem (called Sodom) of idolatgrous worship.

2Kings 23:6 And he brought out the grove from the house of the LORD,
without Jerusalem, unto the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron,
and stamped it small to powder,
and cast the powder thereof upon the graves of the children of the people.

THE CROSS IS UNIVERSALLY A PHALLIC SYMBOL: THE ULTIMATE ASSAULT AGAINST JESUS WAS TO PIN HIM ON AN ASHERAH POLE.
Ephod VulvaPHALLIC WORSHIP As we have before seen, the two sexual powers of nature were symbolized respectively by an upright and an oval (and sometimes a crescent or circle) emblem -- T and O; the Phallus, Ashera, Priapus of the Jews (the Hebrew letter for which was a cross), or Linga (of the Hindus); and the Hindu Yoni or Unit, the Vulvz or Pudendumfeminy, sometimes represented as the mountain of Venus (mons veneris). The former was a representation of the sun-god in his majesty and glory, the restorer of the powers of nature after the long sleep or death of winter; and the latter, a representation of the earth, who yields her fruit under the fertilizing power and warmth of the sun, and when placed upon the Tau, T, or Phallus, formed the "Crux Ansata," or conjunction of the sun and earth, male and female. The Phallus placed erect as a tree, cross, or pole, above a crescent or on a mons veneris, set forth "the marriage of heaven and earth;" and, in the form of a serpent, represented "life and healing," and was so worshipped by the Egyptians and Jews. The two emblems of the cross and serpent (the quiescent and energizing Phallus) are united in the brazen serpent of "the Pentateuch" The conjunction of the two sexual emblems was represented in the Temple by the circular altar of Baal-Peor, on which stood the "Ashera," and for which the Jewish women wove hangings; and under whose protective influence Jacob, on his journey to Laban, slept. It is innocently reproduced in our modern " May-pole," around which maidens dance, as maidens did of yore. The Catholic priest little dreams that he wears a Phallic vestment at Mass, for upon his vestment is the Crux Ansala (ansalus = handle), his head passing through the oval or yoni; the Tau, or cross, falling from the chest in front. The surplice, a figment of woman's dress, was used as a Phallic or Yonijic vestment.

Thus we find in Psalm lxxxix. 49 (literally): "O my Adonis, where are thy endearments of old, which thou swearedst for the sake of love, by the phallus, O Ammon?" This had reference to the violent death of Adonis, who, at the autumnal equinox, was attacked by a wild boar, which tore away the membrum virile, and rendered him impotent, until he was born again, when he acquired fresh powers, and grew in beauty and stature, ready to reunite with Venus at the vernal equinox.

The Spirit of Christ ALWAYS repudiates everything under the rule of Monarchs:
Isaiah 65:4 Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments,
        which eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
Isaiah 66:1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool:
where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
Isaiah 66:2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and those things have been, saith the LORD:
but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit,
         and trembleth at my word.
Isaiah 66:3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man;
        he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck;
        he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood;
he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol.
Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
Isaiah 66:17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
Instrumental music played only during the burnt offering which God had not commanded.  Chrysostom is used to DEFEND the use of instrumental music contrary to all of his writings. For instance. In the Treatise adv. Judaeos, iv. §6. tom. i. 624. C. St. Chrysostom gives this account of the legal sacrifices: "To what purpose unto Me is the multitude of your sacrifices? etc. (Isaiah i., 11, ff.)

"Consequently, music was found to be especially appropriate at the time of sacrifice as a means of driving away the evil spirits who would destroy its efficacy. From this it can also be seen why music had to be uninterrupted during the actio. It was not necessary, then, that music drown out cries of pain but rather that it simply drive away the demons who had been attracted by those cries." (Quasten, Johannes, Music and Worship in Pagan and Christian Antiquity, pgs 16-17)

Clement: Do ye hear how it is most plainly declared, that God did not from the first require these at your hands? Had He required them, He would have obliged those famous saints who were before the Law to observe this practice. `Then wherefore has He permitted it now? In condescension to your infirmity. As a physician in his treatment of a delirious patient, etc.: thus did God likewise. For seeing them so frantic in their lust for sacrifices, that they were ready,  unless they got them, to desert to idols: nay not only ready, but that they had already deserted, thereupon He permitted sacrifices. And that this is the reason, is clear from the order of events.

After the feast which they made to the demons, then it was that He permitted sacrifices: all but saying: `Ye are mad, and will needs sacrifice: well then, at any rate sacrifice to Me. 0'"-(What follows may serve to illustrate the brief remark a little further on, Kai h aixmalwsia kathgoria thj kakiaj.) "But even this, He did not permit to continue to the end, but by a most wise method, withdrew them from it ... For He did not permit it to be done in any place of the whole world, but in Jerusalem only. Anon, when for a short time they had sacrificed, he destroyed the city.  Had He openly said, Desist, they, such was their insane passion for sacrificing, would not readily have complied. But now perforce, the place being taken away, He secretly withdrew them from their frenzy."  So here: "Even the captivity impeaches the wickedness (which was the cause of the permission of sacrifice.")
No historic scholar believed that being turned over to worship the starry host (Acts 7 etal) was by a command of God: therefore, the loud instruments which made noise and not music was attached to Sabazianism or the same worship of the astrial deities which were worshipped throughout the area and by the Israllites in the wilderness and beyond until they were enchained and returned to Babylon.
2Chr. 29:1 Hezekiah began to reign when he was five and twenty years old,
and he reigned nine and twenty years in Jerusalem.

2Chr. 29:2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father had done.
2Chr. 29:3 He in the first year of his reign, in the first month,

Never did the godly non-Levites ever assemble for "congregational singing with instrumental accompaniment." The congregation consisted of the Civil-Military-Clergy complex which Christ in the prophets calls robbers and parasites.

At  the same time the godly people attended the synagogue or church in the wilderness and could never come near any of the dedicated things.
Acts 7:37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel,
A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren,
like unto me; him shall ye hear.
Acts 7:38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness

and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:
Acts 7:39 To whom our fathers would not obey,
but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,
Acts 7:40 Saying unto Aaron,
Make us gods to go before us [back to Egypt]:
for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
Acts 7:41 And they made a calf in those days,
and offered sacrifice unto the idol,
and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.

"The triumphal hymn of Moses had unquestionably a religious character about it; but the employment of music in religious services, though idolatrous, is more distinctly marked in the festivities which attended the erection of the golden calf." (Smith's Bible Dictionary, Music, p. 589).

This "rising up to play" involved eating, drinking, nakedness and musical worship. The goddess, Hathor, is the best candidate for the Mother Goddess of the Mount Sinai idolatry. Here priestessess or prophetesses were highly trained with musical instruments, cultic songs and be able to join in the religious dance.

"Music and drugs were co-consiprators in religious ecstasy. They may have used some product of the sycamore fig which both intoxicated and induced an altered state of consciousness. The ergo of barley was well known.
"Women and girls from the different ranks of society were proud to enter the service of the gods as singers and musicians. The understanding of this service was universal: these singers constituted the 'harem of the gods'." (End of Quasten Click to see Music and the Feminine connection)

Acts 7:42 Then God turned,
and gave them up [g3860 cast out, put in prison]
        to worship the host of heaven;
THE HOST OF HEAVEN
Host of Heaven:  The word host as used in Genesis 2:1, is defined by Strong's Concordance (6635) as "a mass of persons or things especially organized for war, an army." Often it refers to human armies. Two other words are translated "host(s)," and used similarly, but 6635 is usually used to refer to the heavenly host. This page is posted to show that in Old Testament scripture, heavenly host refers specifically to angelic beings (just as in Luke 2:13's "heavenly host praising God" at Christ's birth). It does not generally refer to celestial bodies, or to the cosmos in general.

We are told not to worship the heavenly host, and God is declared "The Lord of Hosts" over 200 times in the Bible. Unfortunately, modern theology almost always interprets the phrase "heavenly host" or "host of heaven" to mean the stars, planets, etc (usu "array" or "starry hosts," in NIV), unless the context makes it absolutely unavoidable to do so.

In Genesis 1:15-17, a completely different Hebrew word (kowkab - Strong's 3552) is used to refer to literal stars. There is simply no need to confuse these terms, since there is a perfectly good Hebrew word for stars, used over 25 times in the Old Testament, and even a Hebrew word for "constellations" used in Isaiah 13:10. (Go to the online Blue Letter Bible and enter "stars" and "constellations.")
You are missing the pull tab on your zipper (in back probably) if you hallucinate that ANY of the curse of the sacrificial system under kings who REPLACED God is your PATTERNISM for worship when the Church of Christ still strives to be a school of the Bible.  This was a COVENANT WITH DEATH which the Jews thought they could live with instead of the "Lord" connected with Abraham:

"We even have a mention at a later date of a similar custom in connection with the cult in Jerusalem, where certain Levites, called me'oreim, 'AROUSERS,' sang (every morning?) this verse from "Ps 44:23: "Awake, O Lord! Why do you sleep? Rouse yourself! Do not reject us forever." The Talmud tells us that John Hyrcanus suppressed the practice because it recalled too readily a pagan custom." (Roland de Vaux, p. 247).

Isaiah 28:17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet:

Isaiah 28:18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled,

2Chr. 29:5 And said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites,
        sanctify now yourselves,
and sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers,
and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.

2Chr. 29:6 For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD our God,
and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs.

While not commanded, the sacrificial system was quarantined to one place and behind city walls.

2Chr. 29:10 Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel,
that his fierce wrath may turn away from us.

2Chr. 29:11 My sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD hath chosen you to stand before him,

2Chr. 29:12 Then the Levites arose, Mahath the son of Amasai, and Joel the son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites: and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehalelel: and of the Gershonites; Joah the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah:

2Chr. 29:14 And of the sons of Heman; Jehiel, and Shimei: and of the sons of Jeduthun; Shemaiah, and Uzziel.

You will notice that the commandment of the king was considered to be by the words of the Lord in all monarchies: little has changed.  However, Hezekiah took the initiative to do this and the Lord did not tell him to do it.  If God doesn't stop you then you can assume that he agrees!  No.

2Chr. 29:15 And they gathered their brethren,
        and sanctified themselves, and came,
according to the commandment of the king,
by the words of the LORD, to cleanse the house of the LORD.

No Levite could come near any holy thing without getting killed. No citizen could come near any holy thing.  If a Levite went into the closed spaces he was to be executed.  Therefore, we know that they only mand NOISE outside and away from any holy place.

2Chr. 29:16 And the priests went
into the inner part of the house of the LORD,
to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the LORD
into the court of the house of the LORD.

And the Levites took it, to carry it out abroad into the brook Kidron.

2Chr. 29:17 Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify,
and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of the LORD:
        so they sanctified the house of the LORD in eight days;
and in the sixteenth day of the first month they made an end.

2Chr. 29:18 Then they went in to Hezekiah the king, and said,
We have cleansed all the house of the LORD,
and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels thereof,
and the shewbread table, with all the vessels thereof.

2Chr. 29:19 Moreover all the vessels,
which king Ahaz in his reign did cast away in his transgression,
        have we prepared and sanctified,
and, behold, they are before the altar of the LORD.

Notice that in none of the animal sacrifices was the people's congregation involved: they must always be outside of the gates.  On the Sabbath they would be attending church which began in the wilderness.

No Levites instrumentalists under the King and commanders of the army

2Chr. 29:20 Then Hezekiah the king rose early,
and gathered the rulers of the city, and went up to the house of the LORD.
2Chr. 29:21 And they brought
        seven bullocks,
        and seven rams,
        and seven lambs,
        and seven he goats,
for a SIN OFFERING
        for the kingdom, and
        for the sanctuary, and
        for Judah.

And he commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the altar of the LORD.
2Chr. 29:22 So they killed the bullocks,
and the priests received the blood, and sprinkled it on the altar:
likewise, when they had killed the rams,
they sprinkled the blood upon the altar:
    they killed also the lambs,
and they sprinkled the blood upon the altar.

A civil war which resulted from the slavery building the temple God had not commanded as a house, meant that the nation of Israel would not "fellowship" the tiny nation of Judah consisting mostly of Jerusalem.

The Warriors instruments did not sound for the specified atonement.

SECONDLY IT WAS HEZEKIAH'S IDEA TO TRY TO MAKE PEACE WITH APOSTATE ISRAEL.

THEREFORE THE SIN OFFERING OF THE GOATS WAS FOR THE ABSENT ISRAELITES.

2Chr. 29:23 And they brought forth the he goats
        for the sin offering before the king and the congregation;
and they laid their hands upon them:

2Chr. 29:24 And the priests killed them,
and they made RECONCILIATION with their blood upon the altar,
to make an atonement for all ISRAEL:
for the king commanded that the BURNT offering and the sin offering
should be made for all ISRAEL

No Levites instrumentalists under the King and commanders of the army

The "kings were set over us" and nationally was DIVIDED primarily over the musical sacrificed defined by Amos and Isaiah. After Solomon the Levites were used to sing FORCED LABOR or working music.

The nation of Israel had been lost beyond redemption. Thereforee, the MARK of the wild noise never called music has a two-fold identifying mark.

FIRST: It was a political movement to get those who had begun civil war back to save llthe king, kingdom and the not-commanded temple. This would be futile.

SECOND:  The military instruments and the burnt offering was an attempt to REDEEM those who has sinned beyond redemption. The NOISES would be a confession of mortal sins. This would, in our day, deny the power of the blood of Jesus Christ shed OUTSIDE of the quarantined city.
h2398ChataA.gif

In our own day this plague stopping ritual has been used as a pattern saying that "God commanded instrumental praise and we should not be disobedient."

Of course, most of the people of Israel just made fun of HEZEKIAH'S attempt at a UNITY MEETING with music.

INSTRUMENTS ONLY DURING THE HOLOCAUST OR BURNT OFFERINGS TO DO WHAT GOD HAD ALREADY DONE.

The ONLY spiritual covenant was made by Christ in spirit to Abraham he later commanded: He provides.
Gen. 22:7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
Gen. 22:8 And Abraham said,
My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering:
so they went both of them together.
Gen. 22:13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked,
and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns:
and Abraham went and took the ram,
and offered him up for a burnt offering
in the stead of his son.
The Israelites abandoned to worship the starry host, in all of their animal sacrifices, substituted for human sacrifice.  This was usually in the form of  young children.  The word music from mystery means "to silence the voice of the victim."  They made Jesus dumb before the slaughter.

When God gave Israel the ten original commandments and The Book of the Covenant, burnt offerings were like all of the commandments, conditional: if yo  do it this is the way you shall do it.
BUT, WAIT!

After the people rose up to play in musical idolatry, the Law of Moses was given to govern a nation turned over to worship the starry host.  Therefore, Jeremiah by the Spirit of Christ
Jer. 7:21 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.
Jer. 7:22 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them
in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt,
        concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:

Jer. 7:23 But this thing commanded I them, saying,
Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people:
and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
Jer. 7:24 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear,
but walked in the counsels and in the
imagination of their evil heart,
and went backward, and not forward
God had not commanded burnt offerings or sacrifices. Previously this had been a voluntary custom of individuals but had no Biblical foundation.

God had not commanded the Levites to make war and loud exorcism noises during these sacrifices.

This use of warrior musicians was an aborted attempt at a "unity meeting" with a nation which had long ago fallen back into the musical idolatry which requested that God "turn them over to worship the starry host."

Therefore, to impose this warrior music as a way to force a union as a purely political move by Hezekiah on a church is the ultimate repudiation of Grace and abandonment to the Sabazianism or star and serpent worship.

Christ has ordained the Qahal, synagogue or Church of Christ in the wilderness. It was inclusive of rest, reading and rehearsing the word of God so that they would all have it in their minds.

It was exclusive of vocal or instrumental rejoicing. That never changed as the synagogue for the common people quarantined them from the pagan sacrificial system which God had not commanded but tolerated after He had abandoned them to walk in their own ways.

This synagogue or Church of Christ was empowered after Christ put down the sacrificial system as something evil: a covenant with death.

The Holocaust was related to Molech

Because of musical idolatry and because they had been worshiping the "burning" gods, there was a warning from the beginning.  Nevertheless,
1Kings 11:7 Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.
The burnt offering to ISRAEL was probably added without command to replace the human sacrifice of burning infants.

Hebrew: A "whole offering" (Hebrew: olah‎), or "burnt offering", is a type of Biblical sacrifice, specifically an animal sacrifice in which the entire sacrifice is completely burnt, consumed totally by fire. The term "burnt offering" derives from the Septuagint translation, itself deriving from the Biblical phrase "an offering made by fire", which occurs in the description of the offering. This form of sacrifice, in which no meat was left over for anyone, was seen as the greatest form of sacrifice and was the form of sacrifice permitted by Judaism to be given at the Temple by Jews and non-Jews. Modern Biblical scholars regard the Moloch offering, which involved human immolation, as being related to the whole offering.
If you will, this may be an ACTED PARALLEL if all of the patternism fits of a UNITY gesture to a nation already abandoned to mechanical sectarianism.  The word reconcilliation points to kings leading Israel into sin.  Those with whom you try to RECONCILE will never cease their instruments (Amos; Isaiah) to shut the mouth of God .  Too boot, they will laugh you to scorn for thinking that THEY will join your unity folly.

PREPARATION OF THE MILITARY FOR THE HOLOCAUST

2Chr. 29:25 And he SET the Levites in the house of the LORD [court]
with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps,
according to the commandment of David,
and of Gad the king’s seer,

WHY THE LEVITES WERE TO STAND GUARD?
Exodus 32:25 And when Moses saw that the people were naked;
(for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:)
Exodus 32:26 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said,
Who is on the LORD’s side? let him come unto me.
And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.
Exodus 32:27 And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel,
Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp,
And slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.
Exodus 32:28 And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses:
and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.
Exodus 32:29 For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves to day to the LORD,
        even every man upon his son, and upon his brother;
that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.
Exodus 32:30 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people,
        Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the LORD;
peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin.
Exodus 32:31 And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said,
Oh, this people have sinned a great sin,
and have made them gods of gold.
Exodus 32:32 Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--;
and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.
Exodus 32:33 And the LORD said unto Moses,
Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
Exodus 32:34 Therefore now go,
lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee:
behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.
Exodus 32:35 And the LORD plagued the people,
because they made the calf, which Aaron made.

shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.

God turned them over to worship the starry host (Acts 7). Therefore, whatever they called their "god" they worshipped the starry host named by Amos and Stephen in Acts 7.  Therefore, this was not a God-approved "pattern" for worship but a punishment to quarantine the slaughter of innocent animans behind closed gates. And this only for a short time because God had sentenced them to captivity and death among the Assyrians and Babylonians.

Plutarch asks why, on the lanuary Ides, flute-players are permitted to go about the city, wearing women's dresses. Probably because the Mysteries of Herakles were then celebrated. Among the Hindus abstinence from women was in many cases required, as on the day of the Newmoon and Fullmoou, and on the 8th and 14th days of the month.1 According to Josephus, the Hebrews consecrated the tabernacle on the New- moon ; * probably because Osiris entered Selene on the New- moon of Phamenoth, the beginning of spring. A brahman was indispensable to every solemn offering, even to the little Newmoon and Fullrnoon offerings.3 This is just what was the case among the Jews,4 as Brahmans.

We find the cities of the priests with the brothers (fratres) in their orders, in 2 Chronicles, xxxi. 15. A deity, regarded as the pure, holy fire, cannot be approached by the ordinary man; a priest-caste is requisite, to which the preservation of the sacred fire-place is entrusted, and which by mortifyings (of the flesh) and torments self-inflicted must make itself worthy of the access to the deity and its revelation. This was a CIVIL and RELIGIOUS ceremony.

The Levites were warrior cheer leaders

1 Chr 25:1  David, together with the commanders of the army, set apart some of the sons of Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun for the ministry of prophesying, accompanied by harps, lyres and cymbals. Here is the list of the men who performed this service:

Payne insists that the Hebrew of 1 Chronicles 25:1 unambiguously identifies these leaders as military commanders, an interpretation favoured by several Bible translations. (Payne, p 423-4; NASB, NIV, NKJV, NRSV, Jerusalem Bible) If military commanders had a particular interest in the appointment of musicians, it suggests a strong link between music and warfare.

CONDUCTING THE HOLOCAUST PROVES THAT DAVID COMMANDED THE INSTRUMENTS

2Chr. 29:27 And Hezekiah commanded
to offer the burnt offering upon the altar.
And when the burnt offering began,
the song of the LORD began also with the TRUMPETS
and with the INSTRUMENTS ORDAINED by David king of Israel.
1Chronicles 23:5 Moreover four thousand were porters; and four thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made, said David, to praise therewith.
Could that be any clearer? You must interpret the preparation 29:25 wiht what actually happened. The instruments are ORDAINED by David who was KING and not a priest.

GOD HAD TURNED THE JEWS OVER TO WORSHIP THE STARRY HOSTS: Amos and Acts 7 tells us the names of the "gods" they were worshiping.

The Levites were commanded to execute any civillian who came near or interupted the BURNT OFFERING.  Here is why:

The building of Ningirsu´s temple

"Music was understood to drive away hostile chthonic demons who loved tranquility and quiet. this concept of music's magical power is found in the formula of a love spell published by S. Eitrem:

"X.X. is bound with the tendons of the holy phoenix so that you will love N.N. with your whole heart and no barking dog or braying ass, cock or conjurer, the clash of cymbals or the noise of flutes or anything else under the heavens will ever set you free."

"The harmful screaming of those who were to be killed in sacrifices was particularly attractived to the wicked demons, with whom the pagans believed the air (1 Corinthians 14:9) was filled.

Consequently, music was found to be especially appropriate at the time of sacrifice as a means of driving away the evil spirits who would destroy its efficacy.

No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons (who distribute fortunes or gifts of spirits), not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons. 1 Corinthians10:20

So it is with you. Unless you speak intelligible words with your tongue, how will anyone know what you are saying? You will just be speaking into the air. 1 Corinthians 14:9

The kings had been turned over to worship the starry host.  Therefore, the instruments are used only during the BURNT OFFERING which the Prophet Jeremiah has God saying I DID NOT COMMAND THIS.

2Chr. 29:28 And all the congregation worshipped,
        and the singers sang,
        and the trumpeters sounded:
and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.

WORSHIP INCLUDED ONLY BOWING TO GOD

In the modern sense where this is used to prove that God commanded instrumental praise for the church (when He outlawed it) has the same meaning by CONSUMING the living of widows.  They impose forms of music until they have driven out the owners in the hope of UNITING with those already ABANDONED as was Israel to musical idolatry.
Matt. 23:14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses,
and for a pretence make long prayer:
therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

A parallel to prove the case:

God: Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the Lord on the altar of the Lord, which he had built before the porch, 2 Chronicles 8:12

Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles. 2 Chronicles 8:13

The Law of Moses does not prescribe any of the "musical" instruments: they were all devoted to making war or the charismatic madness which always accompanied a not commanded burnt offering.

David: And he appointed, according to the order of David his father
the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their charges,

to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required: the porters also by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded. 2 Chronicles 8:14

NOW SEE THAT ONLY THE PRIEST'S TRUMPETS WERE ORDAINED FOR SIGNALLING ONLY.
The are specificially outlawed to make the "musical rejoicing" sounds when the synagogue or church in the wilderness met for Bible study only.
2Chr. 29:29 And when they had made an end of offering,
the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped.

THIS IS THE ONLY THING DEFINED AS WORSHIP.

2Chr. 29:30 Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes
commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the LORD
with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer.
And they sang praises with gladness,
and they bowed their heads and worshipped.
Before his death, David ordered:

1Chr. 23:5 Moreover four thousand were porters;
and four thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made, said David, to praise therewith.

Since they made ONE SOUND and shofars were tuned to ONE NOTE I would think that anyone who said that the Spirit told him to IMPOSE that on a non-instrumental church would do the decent Judas Maneuver:

All told, there were "four thousand (who) praised the Lord with the instruments" of music (I Chron. 23: 5), being divided into twenty-four courses, each consisting of one hundred sixty musicians. Most important of all, we note that "when the burnt-offering began, the song to the Lord also began with the trumpets, accompanied by the instruments" (II Chron. 29:27). "All the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpets sounded," we read, "until the burnt-offering was finished" (v. 28).

Then, "when they had made an end of offering" (v. 29) the people bowed to worship, and sang praises to the Lord without musical accompaniment.

Since the Scripture expressly states that the musical instruments sounded "until the burnt-offering was finished"
the congregational praise which followed must have been a capella.

When the others offered the animals and needed the certified Levites to kill them, we find NO GOATS and NO MUSIC during Passover. There was no "music" in any Passover observation. "Christians" hold EASTER sun rise services and INSIST on using music.
END OF THE CONSECRATION ACTIVITY.

The burning of the goats was an attempt to reconcile or or redeem Israel: whena the priests offer their own sacrifices to CONSECRATE themselves to their service, there were no goata and the militaries instruments were not played. They had participated only in the Civil-Military service and no priests ever made musical noise.

2Chr. 29:31 Then Hezekiah answered and said,
Now ye have consecrated yourselves unto the LORD,
come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the LORD.
        And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings;
and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings. [never commanded]

2Chr. 29:32 And the number of the burnt offerings,
        which the congregation brought,
        was threescore and ten bullocks,
an hundred rams, and two hundred lambs:
all these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.
2Chr. 29:33 And the consecrated things
were six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep.

2Chr. 29:34 But the priests were too few,
so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings:
wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them,
till the work was ended, and until the other priests had sanctified themselves:
for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.

2Chr. 29:35 And also the burnt offerings were in abundance,
with the fat of the peace offerings,
and the drink offerings for every burnt offering.
So the service of the house of the LORD was set in order.
2Chr. 29:36 And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people,
that God had prepared the people: for the thing was done suddenly.

SUMMARY:

1. NO INSTRUMENTAL NOISE (4000) during the atonement for Judah
2. Instrumental noise including the MILITARY Levites only during burn offering to RECONCILE Israel. This was NOT commanded.
3. No instrumental noise during the following Passover (No Easter musical with gold covered boar's testicals on the Easter Tree.

GOD WROUGHT NO PERMANENT GOOD AFTER THE POLITICAL-MILITARY HAD COLLECTED THE PRIESTS.

Hezekiah wasn't paying much attention to little Manasseh. In the first place in chapter 28 the king had taken the sacrificial horrows outside of the walls where God had quarantined it.  The promise from the beginning that if they let the sacrifices be seen, they would receive a plague.

2Chr. 33:1 Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign,
and he reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem:
2Chr. 33:2 But did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD,
like unto the abominations of the heathen,
whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.

2Chr. 33:3 For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down,
and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves,
and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
2Chr. 33:4 Also he built altars in the house of the LORD,
whereof the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.

REMEMBERING THAT GOD HAD ABANDONED ALL OF THE CIVIL-MILITARY-CLERGY TO WORSHIP THE STARRY HOST.
Acts 7:38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina,
and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:
Acts 7:39 To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,
Acts 7:40 Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
Acts 7:41 And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.
Acts 7:42 Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?
Acts 7:43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.
Acts 7:44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.
2Chr. 33:5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
2Chr. 33:6 And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom:
also he observed times, and used enchantments,
and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit,
and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

H5172 nâchash naw-khash' A primitive root; properly to hiss, that is, whisper a (magic) spell; generally to prognosticate:— X certainly, divine, enchanter, (use) X enchantment, learn by experience, X indeed, diligently observe.

H5174 nechâsh nekh-awsh' (Chaldee); corresponding to H5154 ; copper:—brass.
H5153 nâchûsh naw-khoosh' Apparently passive participle of H5172 (perhaps in the sense of ringing, that is, bell metal; or from the red color of the throat of a serpent ( H5175 , as denominative) when hissing); coppery, that is, (figuratively) hard:—of brass.

H3784 kâshaph kaw-shaf' A primitive root; properly to whisper a spell, that is, to inchant or practise magic:—sorcerer, (use) witch (-craft).
2Chr. 33:9 So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err,
and to do worse than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel.

The serpent in the garden of evil was known as a "musical enchanter."  The king of Tyre is also the personification of Lucifer the singing and harp playing prostitute in the garden of Eden.

While making atonement for the king, kingdom and priestood there are no instruments used.

So we have only the king set over the nation to worship the starry host involving the Kings Levitical noise makers ONLY during the reconciliation effort to Israel as they burned the goats.

When the individual priests sanctified themselves with animal sacrifices there is no instrumental noise. Scholars have noted that the singing would have been without instruments.

As soon as Hezekiah died and his son took controlled they RESUMED the worship of the stars.
